Then we visited the National Education Museum, located inside Albania's first school.

Lastly, we visited Birra Korca, a brewing company founded in Albania in 1928. We had a bit of a mix-up in terms of the existence of a brewery tour and where we were meeting each other...
We are humbled and grateful for the hospitality of the Albanian people everywhere we have been in the country. Every day we are amazed by the beauty of this country and the kindness of the people here. The beer is pretty damn good too!
Thank you for watching! :)

That is so cool!!! Just walk around a brewery and act like you know what you are doing and get a behind the scenes tour? We are definitely going to try that! Great video guys!! Cheers!!!🍻
Lol don't try this at home! I genuinely thought Stevo had gone in there. But it all worked out very well in the end!! Cheers to you two!!🍻
RYDER-SAN :) Yarishu desu!!! Love your videos - I watch them every week!
Yarish-San!!! It's so nice to hear from you! Thanks so much for watching 😊💗
Def loved the school and it was really cool to see it and hear about the history. I'm huge fans of you guys and can't wait to see more. I have subscribed to your channel and I too want to travel and live in the us , Florida and I been wanting to leave for years I just never knew how or when and it always seems like when I want something to come up. So I've taken some really good notes from your videos I've been watching and hope to be able to meet you in person. Maybe we can have lunch. Who knows! I would love to become besties you both seem very happy and you're both very funny and quirky and I love watching your UA-cam channel. I would love some info on how to start remotely and how hard it is or how much you make and what it's like to work remotely. They don't have that option in Florida only for insurance or travel agents which I tried both and let's just say not my cup of tea as the English always say. So I'm very interested, but I'm so scared to leave my country because well they install fear in us to think the rest of the world is bad and it's hard to get out but even harder to get back in so I hear but currently going to school for criminal justice going into my second year here did very well so far but it only gets harder from here so I hope to see you or hear from you soon. I hope you guys are doing well. Where are ya now? Have a great day or night wherever u might be. I also have never gone live on any platform so I wouldn't know where to begin on how to start doing small tours and stuff. Thank you for the videos. I hope to speak soon.
Thanks for your lovely comment! We're happy you have enjoyed our videos and we hope they are helpful. It can be hard to take the leap and make a move abroad, but if it's something you want we know you can make it happen! It sounds like you've got a good thing going with your criminal justice program. You can start researching jobs that you could do abroad with that degree and that might put you on the right path to leaving. Sometimes getting a job in another country is a better solution than having remote work, depending on your industry. We wish you all the best and hope to meet you on the road one day!
Great vid. There was a beer I spotted in Tirana airport, small bottles, one was 6.9%, I can’t remember what it was called, any ideas?
Thanks! Hmm, it could have been Birra Korça, Birra Tirana, or maybe Elbar. Are any of those familiar?
How I miss that city, I was born there but now I live in Iowa, it's funny when you were mentioning beer prices, it's ridiculously cheap even for Albanian standards 🤣
So cheap!! And such good beer. That's so cool that you were born in Korce. We really loved the city and had so much fun there. Thanks for your comment :)
Korca has the top smartest Albanians...
People in Korca are wonderful. We have found that to be true all over Albania!!
not true the top smart people were gathered around industrial towns all over albania. when the industry was dismantled 30 years ago by you know who people left and went to germany , canada, france and usa
The school is very special
The history of education in Albania is very different. The Turks prohibited the writing in the Albanian language , and burn what ever writing they found ( not many ) There is one left in the Vatican that was written before the Turkish invasion. If you were lucky enough to go to school you had to go according to your religion. If you were a Muslim you were considered a Turk, if you were Orthodox you were listed as a Greek and must go to a Greek school, if you were Catholic in the north you were latin. So in this small school Muslims, and Orthodox girls and boys all studied together
The University of Athens now say in light of new evidence They found letters from the different generals and admirals ( Their heroes ) all in the Greek script but in the Albanian language. One of the heroes was Greek, ( wrote in Greek, one was a Vlach, wrote in Greek the rest were Albanian ( Avanites ) Wrote to each other in the Greek script but only in the Albanian language. They are originals!
Up aways from the brewery there is a very old church with all the icons in it. They say is older then St Naun in Macedonia. It's wide open no fees no vandalism You might want to take a cab. There is also a good fish restaurant up there
Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed and very interesting information! I hope people reading this will go to the church you mentioned. That sounds amazing! We didn't have a chance to go while we were there, but you've given us something to do on our next trip to Korçë :) We really appreciate your comment!

albanian is directly desctened from old helenic dialects of 2800 years ago. albanian language is much closer related to classic Hellenic dialects than greek! These facts have only been discovered in the 21 century. Albanian is not a language on its own and out of nowhere.
That's very interesting! It's amazing how researchers are always discovering new things. Thanks for sharing :)
