The first stuff/kill block of an Ushiwaka spike in the Miyagi prefecture--an iconic and important moment in the series and in Tsukishima's character development. The unison "Yooooooo" was awesome. It's truly such a well-animated scene too. (It's definitely in my top 5 scenes in Haikyuu!). The first time I watched this episode, I cried, lol. It only gets more intense from here.
@@andhikariza8226 Most likely Date Tech never had a chance to play Shiratorizawa. For instance, Date Tech lost to Karasuno in Summer Interhigh prelims and then lost to Aoba Johsai in Spring High prelims. It's possible they could have run into Shiratorizawa during Aone's first year, but not likely.
Tsukishima's moment in this episode was hands down my favorite in the entire anime. When I saw it I got chills and started crying. It was also the moment Tsukishima officially became my favorite character of the series. Damn, I love this episode soooooo much 😍😭
Goodness, I love this episode so much and the slow build to Tsukki's Monster Block. The looks, Tsukki controlling the timing of the blocks, telling Hinata to mark no. 5 to get a one touch, Tsukki telling Yama how frustrating it is (for him) to play against Hinata and Kageyama then immediately telling them to go wild to annoy no. 5. "Good job, King", the scream, the ost "Greetings!!". So beautiful so well done. Argh, just getting to see this pessimistic apathetic kid become passionate about something, oh, brilliant. *chef's kiss*
The SHEER JOY people experience watching Tsukki nail that block is incomparable. I jumped up out of my seat the first time I saw it!! As always I love your guys' reactions so much, your energy is 10/10
I actually played this particular episode from another tab to hear the sound fully, just cropped and I sticked it right beside your vid because I want to join you guys on reacting (again). 🤣
this is probably my favourite episode of haikyuu or at least top 5, the pay off of tsuki's development was great and the block was also iconic on its own, can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of this season
2:42 😂😂😂 I'd love to hear you see that in a real game 😂 11:20 strongly disagree on that. That dude is never arrogant. He's as calm as a still lake. And he's never not polite.
True, for all that people say Ushijima is a jerk they never realise he's so polite to everyone, even people younger than him or people he dislikes, his words are just blunt and can seem harsh bc that's just how he talks.
Someone might have mentioned this already, but the voice actor for Ukai passed away so his voice changes in the series. His final line recorded is on Ep8.
YAS ❣️ Tsukki's time to shine indeed. Now, hold that thought until I get through the school day😃 Edit: The hype. THE HYPE. I couldn't have been more amazed by your reactions to Tsukki because he's literally the character with the slowest development throughout the series (yes, this means that his development is not complete yet, manga readers be like👀). The way y'all were cheering like crazy at Tsukki's legendary block and then after that again at his first in-game scream had me jumping in my seat with equal excitement HAHHAHAHAHA. The Jiddler jokes about my boy (Tendou)Satori are hilarious and I love how you guys take notice of the Shiratorizawa team as well because they're team dynamic is so cute🥺 Also, yes, Goshiki, the first year kid with the weird bangs is so precious and likeable he's just a smol bean trying to compete with his currently superior senpai Ushijima. I have nothing more to say. I will wait for next week to come because damn am I loving these season 3 reactions. Might be one of my fav reactions to season 3 of Haikyuu ever along with some other S-tier reactions AHAHHA! Take care guys and thank you for the video today!!
Man just finished the manga and I'd say Tsukki is totally the Beast!! I was totally hype when I've watched his moment here but then I started to continue reading the manga..and Damm! He isnt finished yet bruh! Especially that Teacher vs Student during their Nekoma match! I totally went crazy while reading that part.. And I cant forget his another wholesome moment during their match against Kamomedai.. Cant wait for season5. Hopefully it gets animated soon!
YESSSSS!! finally my boi tsukki development and shine. damn he took so long but it paid off beautifully ^^ this moment no doubt one of my favourites or rather the fav in the entire series 😊
Oh god I'm having flashbacks to when i first watched this ep. I cried so muuuuuccchhh. Like finally, Tsukki's moment! He's so hyped! He's finally letting himself feel the joy of the game!! I'm so happy and the team is so happy, like their reactions mirror ours!! We're being showed how much thought Tsukki has put into every play he and the team and the opponents are doing since the first whistle blew. Like he really is the logical mind behind their blocks.
Just as an aside to Ushijima’s comment to Hinata. Let’s be clear here Hinata is still a very trash volleyball player, he can’t receive all that well (like Daichi or any member of Nekoma) he sucks at blocking (as opposed to Tsukki and Kuroo from Nekoma), his serves are still iffy compared to everyone else’s and because he’s small his standing as a player is even worse because he sucks at literally everything else. What he does have though is insane stamina and unholy athleticism to make up for his shortcomings in the other areas, propped up by Kageyama’s precision skills but then the question lies what value is he to the team if Kageyama isn’t there? He’s a pretty decent spiker obviously but he doesn’t have the power to blow through blocks or the skill to properly get around blocks more accurately. Ushijima is right, his confidence has no basis and we’ve only seen 1 other short player in the series so far. It’s like if a college player got drafted to the NBA and decided to just challenge MJ or Lebron
Definitely. I think there's a fundamental miscommunication happening between the story and the viewers. Ushijima is an honest person, but he's also blunt. He's not wrong about anything he says. Hinata said "I'M Hinata, from the concrete and I'M going to beat you", not like how Ushijima says "My TEAM is the strongest here." Ushijima is a strong player who's played volleyball for most of his life, who's also had support and resources to play the sport, that was challenged by a tiny middle blocker who's played like, 4 official games and has had one coach for around a year. The real compliment to Hinata is recognizing how awful of a player he is, seeing how much he's at a disadvantage in terms of his height, ability, experience, and knowing that he still earned his way onto that court with all those other players, not stubbornly insisting that he's good when he's not. It would make no sense for Hinata to be better than Ushijima, and when you look at the facts, he's not. Not even a little bit. Ushijima has every right to walk into this gym with the goal to show Hinata that he's not as strong as he thinks he is. (It also makes the rest of the story much more satisfying, to look for Hinata's weaknesses and watch how he improves them.)
Bruh! Been busy lately but i'm glad I was finally able to watch you guys react to this episode. Been waiting for it actually but due to my busy schedule I wasnt able to tune in. Really hype seeing you guys be totally shocked at Tsukishimas block! Note: Tsukkis character development isnt over yet and man! Me who "finished the Manga".. Kinda want to spoil it😎 lol. Its just that tsukkis character development is just🔥🔥anyways gonna start watching every reactions ive missed from you guys!! Right now.
Tsukki: "I was waiting for this fraying caused......"
Everyone: "We were waiting for this episode reaction.."

It really was an amazing moment!
What makes this moment more impactful that tsukki was the first one in the whole prefecture to stop one of his spikes completely not just a one touch
Ive watched this scene countless times and i still tear up
Insert 'to this day!' meme here
Tsuki blocks
Everyone: wooooo
Tsuki screams
Everyone:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
fun fact: tsukki is the first player in the miyagi prefecture to block ushiwaka
could you please share any proof of this statement
They say it, in the story 🤷🏼
That's because the only other player that could have blocked Ushiwaka plays for Shiratorizawa. 😂
Even aone?

Enjoyed the synchronised "Yoooooooo" at 17:31 almost as much as Tsukki's actual block.
Tsukishima's moment in this episode was hands down my favorite in the entire anime. When I saw it I got chills and started crying. It was also the moment Tsukishima officially became my favorite character of the series. Damn, I love this episode soooooo much 😍😭
Isaiah was about to cry and you cannot tell me otherwise
100% he was! Can you blame him?
They be like
S1: "I don't like Tsukki..."
S3: "TSUKKI MY MAAAAN!!!"
Great animes can change people. 🤣

This comment is 10/10! Thank you though for real, we really appreciate it ^^

Yes!!
Kiyoko’s reaction was the best lmao
ah so this is why Ushijima wanted Oikawa so bad 😭that one setter mistake led to this moment GO TSUKI!!
this is probably my favourite episode of haikyuu or at least top 5, the pay off of tsuki's development was great and the block was also iconic on its own, can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of this season
I was waiting for this reaction since you started watching Haikyuu, I wasn't disappointed :D
The makes 2 of us... or wait actually 3

Finally Tsukki's moment!!! 🔥🔥
Nice reaction guys! 👍👍
Imagine watching these reactions from season 1, knowing that you'll eventually get to this episode.
The wait was long, but worth it. 👍
I come back to this legendary episode's reaction at least once every 2-3 weeks cause that's just how good it is 🥰
Easily one of my favorite moments in the entire series--definitely solidified Tsukki as one of my favorites!
Someone might have mentioned this already, but the voice actor for Ukai passed away so his voice changes in the series. His final line recorded is on Ep8.
When you guys started reacting to Haikyuu this episode is the most excited I am for you guys to react to, and as always you guys never disappoint 🥺🥺

THE MOMENT IS HERE
Tsuki put in that work! Analytical skills on point. Hahah great work Tsuki.
I know you guys joke a lot ,but I really hope you guys know just how much of a player ushijima is .
Oh no don't worry we know he is an actually savage of a player!
The Tsukki block is probably the most epic moment so far. For me, there are two more moments in S4 that will beat that, though.
14:37 that moment was not a pose by hinata, he was controlling his balance to stop himself from hitting the net because that would invalid the point
We know, It just looked too funny to to point out lol
Hypest moment of the series🙏
We finally arrived at this moment🥰😄
The hype is real
Tsukki yelling always gets to me, no matter how many times I watch it
Fav episode, the anime did the scene so well👏👏👏
