Probably not a big deal but I cannot ignore this, during Arataki Rockin' for Life Tour Event, what I notice on this final cutscene (Paimon and Itto singing) is the animation movements of the characters/models. It improved alot compared to previous cutscenes and the models move more natural/fluent and lively than just scripted yet predictable animations. Yes there are actual good cutscenes before, however most of them are on video format on my perspective rather than animated on the actual game itself . Maybe this is Hoyoverse experimental moment since they are improving the graphics of the game in the upcoming Natlan update (version 5.0). If you played the game long enough you'll probably know what I mean. EDIT: some gramatical errors

I also thought there were a few more expressions and unique poses when the characters were talking in the quest (outside of the cutscene). Man i'm so excited for natlan. I do hope that they would improve on the current models overally too tho. Especially on the older models
I also noticed that when arlecchino turns to her second form in the boss fight, that cutscene is in the game itself and not a separate video. When I was fighting her with neuvillette and summoned his ball thingies with his skill right before her cutscene, those balls were actually part of the cutscene as well
I just played through Liyue in an alt account and I cannot agree more. I could see Keqing’s hair clipping on itself a bit during the cutscene where she slashes the Fatui agent and over just stale-ish movement in the animation compared to what it is now
I don't know if this counts, but in this last music event in Inazuma, Itto seemed to have some new moves during dialogue, and they weren't that bad I think that's a possibility
I think they are giving us teasers if things in natlan like that remuria quest was how they shown that they upgraded, itto got new animations in his event etc. and probably through windtrace and other event will also have some nice tweaks
2:47 is SO TRUE, genshin does this alot especially during the start of an archon quest and in HSR (spoiler) Sunday yaps for 30 mins before the actual boss fight.

Tbh I like the regular exploration and quests separately. I can’t concentrate on two things at once. It’s whether I explore, whether I do quests. But not two things at once💀 I don’t like locations that I want to explore being locked behind a quest. Like I might feel like exploring but I might not feel like doing quest so💀
If there is no exploration elements embedded to world quests, the world quests would be 100% dialogue. They tone down a lot after sumeru desert where they dont lock huge percentage of the map behind world quests but rather they made the quests accompany you exploring the area.
Since I mostly played Genshin Impact on my PlayStation 5, there wouldn't be a problem, but when I saw the PlayStation 4 version saying "All" I don't understand what they meant by that

Nvm! I read the thing. Honestly I DOUBT it’ll be a crazy difference graphically. If the game still looks pretty as is and hopefully stays the same way for the PS4 then I’m happy. At least I can still play it until I get a ps5!

well, the options is to probably buy a 256 sata ssd. some of the gen 3 ssds are dirt cheap rn. i recently got a crucial gen 3 sata ssd 356 gig for basically 20 dollars. that should be enough for all the games u want.
i hope they will stop locking random zones over a quest...i remember trying to figure for more than an hour to open a door in the underwater fontaine (near where the tour felt in narssizenkreuz quest) just to discover a quest in a random location that opened it.. and brings more intuitive exploration (arkrium *cough*)
As a moblie who almost got their existence obliterated at the 4.6 update im internally screaming at the graphic changes, other than that im really hyped for everything else especially the remuria styled quest because it was actually a really enjoyable quest I also didn’t find it to long and wasn’t really tired with anything.
and its almost 5 hours of listening to NPC that shit is not even animated, like I can watch 3 movies in that time and get 10x more story and world building

I just meant that this could have happened a little sooner and there timing couldn't be more odd
For me personally Sumeru has the most afull exploration hence every part has really long World quest and somethimes multiple world quest just to have access to all parts on the other hand Remuria is really good like no wasting no yapping just 1 world quest to unlock the area
The skip button could be added for those repeating quest i guess, like the final boss, if you fail you need to reread the whole dialogue again, once done could be skip the 2nd retry, would be nice

I don’t care about a skip button… never have. The Remuria quest was beautiful and I enjoyed it very much. It would be great if they would focus more on actual story telling. As long as they also keep the beautiful open world exploration, as that is what I love. Story, lore and exploration….. we can have it all.

I hope there are some new challenging content in Natlan, otherwise I'll just be done with the update in less than a week by how easy Genshin is. The only thing that makes this game slow is Dialog Bloating, the dialog is 99% of the challenge, Lmao!

Updating the graphics only not the QoL and some new Endgame mode for genshin so theres no hope goddam .. still for casual gaming and that f&**** starrail is still better 🔥
The thing is they are bringing a new thing next patch, like another abyss but with different mechanics. But of course to do this, they’re taking away from the abyss and making it reset only once per month rather than twice. Funny they finally brought it out after years, now that Wuthering Waves is releasing. They got 30 mil pre registers so far. Hopefully this will bring much needed competition.
NGL, i have waited so long for a visual upgrade. I usually play with low settings with high resolution on my iPad, even with it being the M1 version (for greater battery life). But having a relatively good PC and only being able to play on 60Hz sucks :/
I'm aiming for iPhone 16 Pro Max, so hope that'll help me. But no random side stuff sounds good, as long as the main stuff is filling. And how can you actually "hear" NPC yap? There's no voice overs for world quests in general.
So I usually skip the quest that don't have voice over. So I did the same with Rumeria quest as well 😭 Now, I kinda feel bad after hearing you say it was good 😭😭

The open world maps feels like to be explored once or twice on quest and/or puzzle/treasure solving/hunting.. after that I rarely go back to the places.. since I feel I don't need them besides maybe farming some artifacts.. it feels barren and a boring after they're done explored.. meanwhile the game size sits there and bound to be larger after updates..? Me as mobile player would be stressed again I guess, 😅
bruh, liyue archon quest was peak animation, if only they built on that but since they didnt have competition, genshin got too comfortable now that wuthering waves is coming out they rushin they graphical improvements
I've high expectations from Natlan because most of my friends have quit Genshin. Some are going to quit cause of this graphical update and others got bored because of no endgame. I'm the last one standing. I'm the only one in my group playing this for the lore. I hope they make it as peak as Sumeru or Fontaine 😅

Im actually super worried about this, me personally sumeru's archon quests are easily my favourites and remuria was honestly a yap fest if we ignore the pretty cutscene at the end. I hope they dont switch it up too much
Yeah... if we could tone down the unspoken dialogue that would be great. Or at least make it so we can skip it. Remember that quest in the desert with Jeht? I like where you go and what you do and where you end up... no spoilers from me.... but I hated tapping through all that dialogue. Ditto for the entire Narzissenkreutz quest line (I'm sure I spelled that wrong), and the entire Remuria Quest and the entire Aranara Quest. I at least loved Remuria, but Narzissenkreutz and the Aranara ... f**k those quests. It's just hours of my life I cannot get back, and they're not optional if you want to explore the whole world. The irony is that there was a way to do it to better respect my time: just let me skip the dialogue or have less of it, or don't make me give an answer halfway through a monologue, so at least I can go do dishes, or laundry and then come back to the game and hopefully it's over when I come back. Because right now I have to just sit there and tap through minute after minute of dialogue I hate. Oh and if I get disconnected from the game? I have to do it all over again.
I wish they make more stopping points. I hate that I start the quest and 20 minutes screens talking jumping from one place to another I never have that much time at once In a meantime I would stop do some domain too So only option to skip skip skip
More 4 stars available in the shop and actual ways to obtain 4 stars you want from limited banners. I did 250 pulls and could not even c6 none of the 4 stars on the arle banner like wtf.
If the graphical upgrades would be similar to HI3rd chapter 2 then my PC will be on fire and phone would burn to ashes tbh HI3rd is a weird game with performance in the first place

It sounds like they'll be doing more archon quests like Fontaine, which sucks. Sure, it is more cinematic, but I liked how in previous archon quests you were forced to explore the land and get to know it and its people as part of the story, It made me, in theory, care more about it. In Fontaine there was basically NO exploration except that awful prison. I kept waiting for that time when I'd be sent off across Fontaine to explore and experience it and never got it. It'll suck if Natlan is that, too.
that's what world quests are for.. they send to every nook and cranny in the map and most definitely unlock new regions/mechanics so you won't be losing on anything and most world quests dont even require you to do the archons ones
"Leaker" says "Archon good" "Don't Wish on early new region banners" "Natlam will hace ruins" "Newest mechanic will have dedicate supports" "Older Characters will get buffed" literally said nothing we didn't know

honestly, I haven't played any World Quest since Sumeru but this one was actually very very good. the music and cutscenes were top of the top

NGL, i have waited so long for a visual upgrade. I usually play with low settings with high resolution on my iPad, even with it being the M1 version (for greater battery life). But having a relatively good PC and only being able to play on 60Hz sucks :/

The open world maps feels like to be explored once or twice on quest and/or puzzle/treasure solving/hunting.. after that I rarely go back to the places.. since I feel I don't need them besides maybe farming some artifacts.. it feels barren and a boring after they're done explored.. meanwhile the game size sits there and bound to be larger after updates..? Me as mobile player would be stressed again I guess, 😅

I've high expectations from Natlan because most of my friends have quit Genshin. Some are going to quit cause of this graphical update and others got bored because of no endgame. I'm the last one standing. I'm the only one in my group playing this for the lore. I hope they make it as peak as Sumeru or Fontaine 😅

Yeah... if we could tone down the unspoken dialogue that would be great. Or at least make it so we can skip it. Remember that quest in the desert with Jeht? I like where you go and what you do and where you end up... no spoilers from me.... but I hated tapping through all that dialogue. Ditto for the entire Narzissenkreutz quest line (I'm sure I spelled that wrong), and the entire Remuria Quest and the entire Aranara Quest. I at least loved Remuria, but Narzissenkreutz and the Aranara ... f**k those quests. It's just hours of my life I cannot get back, and they're not optional if you want to explore the whole world.
The irony is that there was a way to do it to better respect my time: just let me skip the dialogue or have less of it, or don't make me give an answer halfway through a monologue, so at least I can go do dishes, or laundry and then come back to the game and hopefully it's over when I come back. Because right now I have to just sit there and tap through minute after minute of dialogue I hate. Oh and if I get disconnected from the game? I have to do it all over again.

It sounds like they'll be doing more archon quests like Fontaine, which sucks. Sure, it is more cinematic, but I liked how in previous archon quests you were forced to explore the land and get to know it and its people as part of the story, It made me, in theory, care more about it. In Fontaine there was basically NO exploration except that awful prison. I kept waiting for that time when I'd be sent off across Fontaine to explore and experience it and never got it. It'll suck if Natlan is that, too.
that's what world quests are for.. they send to every nook and cranny in the map and most definitely unlock new regions/mechanics so you won't be losing on anything and most world quests dont even require you to do the archons ones
