I realized that playing the super fast and flashy legends felt very similar to how it feels when I enter a flow state in most FPS games which led me to maining bow and scythe legends plus those that branches off from them(aside from artemis and vector as i have a personal vendetta against lance) and I my #1 is Ember as I hit diamond 5 times on her. Amazing video, I had to sub because of how easy to understand it was especially for it being only 10 minutes

I'm used to seeing the more popular names give surface level tips, and though they certainly help, it's refreshing and inspiring to see your more scientific approach to these videos. Good job!
Fell inlove with ember, the first legend i bought and its like a perfect match, people argue with her low defense but katars, and boe are a kit that helps you stay away and charge when you get a chance.. literally a legend of a brawler.. for me

A 10/10 scythe score just shows a lack of talent. I'd say 3/5 learning bc the strings are somewhat tricky, like battle boots. But scythe has to be one of if not the easiest weapon to play in an actual match. Like that weapon feels like it just gets to ignore neutral with it's whacky hitboxes and bullshit speed.

He just seems like a really good character that I’m surprised no one mains him, but what do I know I’m barely in plat LOL

really helpful, I wanted to get to plat with Magyar alone for some reason, and I successeded this season. I have like 50 level or so on him. I gotta adress three points that helped me that are likely related to the video. first point, there's no "best legend" imo. it is about learning and improving, I won against higher Elos in my last matches and it is really encouraging. you can still find "weak/ unplayable" characters like Azoth or Brynn, and they still do well and win. I as a Magyar main see this as a valid statement. but the thing I noticed that there could be an advantage in some weapons, I mainly struggle with lance and blasters, which makes Lord Vrxx a nightmare in my ranked. he's fast and one mistake is my doom. in general play what works and pleases you the most, have fun. second, the weapons have roles, swithcing and knowing at what time position and health makes a huge differene. you have to be adaptive imo. the last one, I only discovered patinet/ aggressive/ passive playstyles just now. I thought being faster is the key. I figured out that reading worked the best for me, and in order to do it I had to be less agressive, because they will read me when I try to engage, like an open book. but they won't if I tried to be diverse in my approach. there are a lot of can/can't in different characters, as Magyar I can cover the entire map in my reach, but still get vulnarable against fast weapons like gauntlents. but now switching to Ezio I have almost zero reach in both weapons, but I have less concern of my dodges, I just strike asap the moment I see an opening. truly playstyles matter. thx so much for the video I have a side note. I think difficult to play should be based on weapon efficiency, I think Scythes are so effective and good weapon in general. but weapon like Blasters feels so limited, even its recovery doesn't feel reliable imo, add to that the hitbox is so small you need to be so accurate. but thats just my opinion.
unironically the way I found my main was by when I first started playing I played training mode and the bot was yumiko and i liked how she looked so i trained with yumiko and she pretty much became my main from day one, She's my main. my weapon main is hammer, so I mostly play hammer legends.

@@ZenexasbaI don’t agree with you, I recently switched to Azoth Xull while having a lvl 73 ulgrim and I have already hit a higher peak after playing Xull for a few weeks, I got 2200
@@wolflegendgaming8420if you use a weapon for a long time you are also getting better at the game. It also means even tho you getting better there might be a weapon better suited for you but you dont choose it cause of the level you have reached and dont wanna look noob. I went from hating bow to bow being my main weapon. I was a tezca player and swutched kaya. Thats a very different switch. Cuz i found tezca to be easy to get strong but hard for me to stand out
I chose Xull so when I have the upper hand I can go aggressive with cannon but when im losing I can play passive with axe. So im not forces to play aggressive even when im losing the match
Over 2 yrs I've been playing consistently with like 450 hrs, but I'm still platinum 😅. This made me realize that switching mains is not a good idea and that the legend I liked and was good at the most was tezca which is now my main. Very good video, keep grind for the subs man 😄.
Watched this video and I found that I really like to play cassidy. Mainly because of her range and abilities being very good for both passive and patient players, I also want a couple layers to my gameplay that cassidy allows. Whenever I find that my opponent plays an aggressive playstyle (sig spamming, rushing, etc.) I switch to a passive since I think it's a HARD COUNTER to an aggressive playstyle, if they play passive, I play passive aggressive. Which is inbetween aggressive and passive. Whenever I see they play patient, I'll have to play aggressive, but at the same time a bit calculated with my movements since it's easier to make mistakes with Cassidy and to be combo'd off the map. It will be harder to do this in a 2v2 and ESPECIALLY 2v2 ranked, but it'll work out :)
I didn’t see Magyar on this list at all. Only heard groups that he falls under and is one of the best examples for. A good video but just throwing it out there.
Honestly weapon is the biggest deal for me, its just that some weapon's string doessnt feel right to me, i like spears and bow a lot but i really hate sword making me a sig spammer whenever i get sword for koji and hattori, so i do complete 180 and do lucien and learn the strings of blaster and katars, 2 weapon that i did decent on
@@grayfilms8751I think there saying that because mordex is very popular and is used a lot but just ignore the rude things people say, I also main mordex so it’s nice to see a new member, yes it will take time to learn but trust me once u get used to it you’ll go with the flow 😊
6:43 i have opposite situation 😅😅 scythe, blasters, gautlets were easy to learn and play, but when i started playing sword, bro i was geting 3 stocked rvery game xdd I am maining nix, wu shang and now im trying to add val bc of her 2v2 potential (is it good main comp?)
Whoever put scythe on 10/10 very hard hasn’t played the game long enough to realise it is not that hard to play scythe. And greatsword 8/10 is underrated
Ngl just play whoever has your preferred weapons, so if you like scythe play a scythe legend if you like spear play a spear legend. Then just check which legend is the best for you out of that category.
I went from silver to almost plat last season with Nix and I dont think changing my main will do anything instead I should learn so true combos and how to dodge between (cuz i suck at dodging)
Only issue with this that I see is that I don't have access to all the legends, so it's kinda hard to decided when playing only the free roster and the rotations that happen. So I can't really bring characters into a proper test. It's just a new player thing. Would appreciate advice on fastest way to gain coins to unlock legends though.
I was going to do that but then i remembered how everytime i played against greatsword players they can do an instant attack after miss and cover up, dash away and do wake up and because of that i didn’t put it in heavy
I'm stuck between Arcadia who I main, ember, Diana, but I want to learn scythe it's just hard otherwise I would play munin or fait cause I love orb too. I used to main gauntlets but the nerf hurts
I was going to do that but then i remembered how everytime i played against greatsword players they can do an instant attack after miss and cover up, dash away and do wake up and because of that i didn’t put it in heavy
For me I like having fun so I pick legends to get to level 25 or higher so far I’m at 9 with like 3 20+ but idk who to play anymore to get to 25 no one peaks my interest, so far I’m maining wu shang
I have a request if you can please, can you make a video of most common mistakes in brawlhalla. for example one I see so common in a lot of Elos, that they keep waiting or standing still. many times throwing my weapon at them helps to counter that. another one I keep falling to, is when someone change to unarmed. it makes everything harder and I want to know how to deal with such mistakes, tysm for yor effort.
Scarlet is a solid pick and wu shang doesn’t share the same playstyle as her, i say stick with scarelet since you play her better, once you hit level 70 80 on her you will see how good you’ll be on her
@@Zenexasbaalr thanks!! is there any good back up option for tournaments and stuff? Like if my lance works and hammer doesn’t I switch to Roland/ulgrim?
Picking a main is in brawlhalla doesn’t really make sense, as contrary to most fighting games all the characters share the same moves and the same weapons. So I’m my opinion it is more effective to main a few weapons because you still have the option of multiple characters whilst not having a sunk cost fallacy in a specific character.
It does tho. Stats are different on each one of the legends, the way you play the game will be dicatated by those stats. For example you cannot play the same axe gameplay on both Teros and Volkov. one is more high dex so more combos and way more hits are needed but in the other hand with Teros you cannot play as risky because your recovery time is pretty high
Then please explain why every big major tournament winner have only one main Sandstorm: mordex / scythe/ string weapons Boomie : diana / blasters Impala : kaya Cody travis : barraza / blasters Acno : koji / kaya / bow Pavelski : cross / mordex / val / gauntlets I explain better in the first section of the video so rewatch that if you still not convinced
Thoughts on val for 1s and 2s long term? Think i want to buy akuma tomorrow and start putting time in and invest in her but i dont want her being low tier in a couple of months from now.. (high plat trying to reach diamond)
I play the game for fun but i don’t know if i’m weird but all my favorite legend are from different categories (mako, tezca, onyx and Acadia) so i’m not to sure what to do🧐
i like use scarlet and artemis, but i want learn how use axe to main teros or ulgrim, it's wrong use that group of characters? some times i feel slow and i use artemis.
characters like ulgrim and teros are slow because of weapons and dex, not movement, which mean you only feel slow when you miss an attack because there's so many recovery frames due to slow weapon and low dex, so the solution to feel fast on ulgrim and teros and scarlet is to just attack less and move more, only attack when you know it will hit, i don't really think artemis fit in that group
i like the weapons of scarlet, but she is too balanced, i like so much the damage of teros and the stats of ulgrim are so much good, kill faster and do a lot of damage with less hits is my playstyle, i will use more of ulgrim and teros to see what i like more
I haven’t watched the full video ye t but I have a question,is it bad I play 2 diff legends for 1v1 and 2v2? When I play 1v1 I play asuri and when I play 2v2 I play Ada.I find asuri better for 1v1 cause I can string more with my katars without worrying about hitting a teammate, but with Ada I don’t like 1v1 cause the low defense so I find her better for 2v2 cause my teammate can help me and support. Please tell me if that’s good or bad cause I’m mixed on either I play Ada for both or asuri for both
That is a really good question to be honest and i really don't know how to answer, i think its fine to play 2 different legends for 2 different gamesmods since the whole dynamic is different and asuri is really good for but not 2s and ada is the other way around so i beleive yes you can do that, Not very sure tho
Yo! I love the content! I have a really big problem though. How do I stick to one main. Today for instance, I played Hugin, and lost four matches in a row. Some of these 1500 players aren't 1500, I even went against a diamond. So then I switched to Diana and lost. And then I finally swapped to Tezca and started winning. Sometimes I win with them, and sometimes I just can't win with my main so I swap, and that only works for a little bit. What do u recommend? And how to I get past these 1500 players? I used to be 1700, but now I be going against 1500 who know how to play neutral. (I can easily beat ACTUAL 1500s though they stupid lol)
I started winning on tezca not because you’re better on tezca but because you lost so much and you started fighting easier players So only play 1 legend even if you lose 10 games with it. And for the losing to 1500 part, that’s maybe happening because its the start of the season.
@@Zenexasba Dang, that's so true. I never realized that... Well, after I sent that message, I got in contact with a Diamond player. (2300) He gave me some tips, and recommended me to play Axe in general. So I usually play Azoth and Barraza. And now I'm at 1750, my all time high!

Cuz i found tezca to be easy to get strong but hard for me to stand out
Dedicated Gamer as well as UA-camr🤘
I’m so glad I picked kaya before I even knew about play styles
Thanks for the vid, currently I’m trying my best to find my main. The character I’m currently using is Koji
first part is literally "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
You: "These are the legends that are impossible to nerf"
Brawlhalla: "Impossible you say?" *Removes the legend*
Basically,
Pick a character you like to play
If you like his/her sigs, then try learn it's combos
If you don't, Pick another one
I chose Xull so when I have the upper hand I can go aggressive with cannon but when im losing I can play passive with axe. So im not forces to play aggressive even when im losing the match
Over 2 yrs I've been playing consistently with like 450 hrs, but I'm still platinum 😅. This made me realize that switching mains is not a good idea and that the legend I liked and was good at the most was tezca which is now my main. Very good video, keep grind for the subs man 😄.
Amazing man keep it up!
Definitely will 👍🔥
Watched this video and I found that I really like to play cassidy. It will be harder to do this in a 2v2 and ESPECIALLY 2v2 ranked, but it'll work out :)
ima be honest this video help to show me thagt most efficent legends are the ones sig spamers use
I didn’t see Magyar on this list at all. Only heard groups that he falls under and is one of the best examples for. A good video but just throwing it out there.
Honestly weapon is the biggest deal for me, its just that some weapon's string doessnt feel right to me, i like spears and bow a lot but i really hate sword making me a sig spammer whenever i get sword for koji and hattori, so i do complete 180 and do lucien and learn the strings of blaster and katars, 2 weapon that i did decent on
thank you man, I think I'm ganna main Mordex
stinky
how so?@@mercurytempest
@@grayfilms8751I think there saying that because mordex is very popular and is used a lot but just ignore the rude things people say, I also main mordex so it’s nice to see a new member, yes it will take time to learn but trust me once u get used to it you’ll go with the flow 😊
@@Lary-ur-powerful-overlord i was joking, i dont really care what people play as long at they play fair (no cheating, spamming or being toxic)
@@mercurytempestI can agree just spam is going to be hard for this guy to handle because he looks like he’s knew lol

6:43 i have opposite situation 😅😅 scythe, blasters, gautlets were easy to learn and play, but when i started playing sword, bro i was geting 3 stocked rvery game xdd
I am maining nix, wu shang and now im trying to add val bc of her 2v2 potential (is it good main comp?)
Whoever put scythe on 10/10 very hard hasn’t played the game long enough to realise it is not that hard to play scythe. And greatsword 8/10 is underrated
how many hours do you have ?
whats your peak elo
how many hours you have on scythe ?
omg I choose Isaiah
W pick
same was abt the comment this
you chose wrong
@@honkyt0nk hes 2500 valhallan what do u know
@@honkyt0nk there’s no wrong choice yk
6:10 cannon heavy too
I recommend this to really anyone
im probably the only person in the world who’s ever main’d magyar 😭😭😭
You’re not
My existence disproves your comment
I main'd Magyar for a while but he sucked so much so I went back to Zariel
I have seen some magyar mains (I am a former magyar main). Good luck with finding a Sentinel main
I chose to play Tezca, but not because of the weapons or the sigs or the skins, but out of spite after facing so many raptors
What legends would be good for a patient playstyle
W vid bro
Thanks ❤
Ngl just play whoever has your preferred weapons, so if you like scythe play a scythe legend if you like spear play a spear legend. Then just check which legend is the best for you out of that category.
I went from silver to almost plat last season with Nix and I dont think changing my main will do anything instead I should learn so true combos and how to dodge between (cuz i suck at dodging)
yes don't change mains just play with what's best for you
Only issue with this that I see is that I don't have access to all the legends, so it's kinda hard to decided when playing only the free roster and the rotations that happen. So I can't really bring characters into a proper test. It's just a new player thing. Would appreciate advice on fastest way to gain coins to unlock legends though.
6:06 why isn’t gs in this category?
I was going to do that but then i remembered how everytime i played against greatsword players they can do an instant attack after miss and cover up, dash away and do wake up and because of that i didn’t put it in heavy
I main kor (level 40) but i dont know if i should keep on playing him because hes kinda boring to play rn and i feel better with hattori
6:55 agree, now gs is not hard
I'm stuck between Arcadia who I main, ember, Diana, but I want to learn scythe it's just hard otherwise I would play munin or fait cause I love orb too. I used to main gauntlets but the nerf hurts
how did bro not count GREATsword as a heavy weapon?
I was going to do that but then i remembered how everytime i played against greatsword players they can do an instant attack after miss and cover up, dash away and do wake up and because of that i didn’t put it in heavy
thanks a lot for this videon
You’re welcome
For me I like having fun so I pick legends to get to level 25 or higher so far I’m at 9 with like 3 20+ but idk who to play anymore to get to 25 no one peaks my interest, so far I’m maining wu shang
gang is shining
I have a request if you can please, can you make a video of most common mistakes in brawlhalla. for example one I see so common in a lot of Elos, that they keep waiting or standing still. many times throwing my weapon at them helps to counter that.
another one I keep falling to, is when someone change to unarmed. it makes everything harder and I want to know how to deal with such mistakes, tysm for yor effort.
you don't need to spam the comment 5 times so that i read it, i alread read all my comments, and yes im planning on making that in the future 100%
Which character is Sandstorm using?
How do i pick one of the groups?
if you have trouble picking your style just try to remember how you like to play in other games
I have been maining scarlet for a while she is level 46 rn but i Maybe want to switch to wu shang is that a good option? I have a patient playstyle
Like if my lance works and hammer doesn’t I switch to Roland/ulgrim?
playing other legends also helps you to learn how to play against them
Bro i exclusively play nix mordex and sometimes loki. Is scythe compatable with aggressive/patient play styles?
Yes
Then please explain why every big major tournament winner have only one main
Sandstorm: mordex / scythe/ string weapons
Boomie : diana / blasters
Impala : kaya
Cody travis : barraza / blasters
Acno : koji / kaya / bow
Pavelski : cross / mordex / val / gauntlets
I explain better in the first section of the video so rewatch that if you still not convinced
What is your opinion about magyar? I'm playing him now and I'm level 27 but his sigs are not really good in my opinion
he's a good legend but very very hard to master
bödvar my beloved
Idk if it's right, but I'm maining Caspian (playing for 3 days lol)
Thoughts on val for 1s and 2s long term? Think i want to buy akuma tomorrow and start putting time in and invest in her but i dont want her being low tier in a couple of months from now.. (high plat trying to reach diamond)
meta only matters if you are a pro player, and yes she's one of the best characters and will always be
@@Zenexasbaeven with the gauntlet nerfs?
I play the game for fun but i don’t know if i’m weird but all my favorite legend are from different categories (mako, tezca, onyx and Acadia) so i’m not to sure what to do🧐
If you play to improve and u wanna get better follow the advice, if you don’t care about improvement and just want to have fun then play whoever
would u say magyar is an aggressive character or patient, cause i wanna play him but i’m a very aggressive player
you can do whichever you like more
i like use scarlet and artemis, but i want learn how use axe to main teros or ulgrim, it's wrong use that group of characters? some times i feel slow and i use artemis.
characters like ulgrim and teros are slow because of weapons and dex, not movement, which mean you only feel slow when you miss an attack because there's so many recovery frames due to slow weapon and low dex, so the solution to feel fast on ulgrim and teros and scarlet is to just attack less and move more, only attack when you know it will hit, i don't really think artemis fit in that group
i like the weapons of scarlet, but she is too balanced, i like so much the damage of teros and the stats of ulgrim are so much good, kill faster and do a lot of damage with less hits is my playstyle, i will use more of ulgrim and teros to see what i like more
@@jogosbons8459 nice, good luck
@@Zenexasba thank you,I’ve been told it’s bad by some,and good by some.I think I’ll stick to using 1 for 1v1 and 1 for 2v2.
I play brawlhalla 4 years and i don't have main character
Thank❤
I started winning on tezca not because you’re better on tezca but because you lost so much and you started fighting easier players
So only play 1 legend even if you lose 10 games with it.
And now I'm at 1750, my all time high!
i literall yhave 550h in the game and i dont even have one black cuz ive been switching mains non stop
Reno is in both long range and close range high speed so what kinda playstyle is it for reno.
