- CBS News Colorado Reporter Ashley Portillo spoke to a few Coloradans who reacted to a Walmart store that was rated the third worst-reviewed grocery market in the state set to close.
A bad grocery store is better than no grocery stores at all, but I’m assuming it was getting shop lifted from until it could survive.
Crime theft and lawsuits is the reason for this. The neighborhood has gone down the tubes. And you can thank all these lawyers for that.
Get rid. Meanwhile in Spain some protesters found the megayacht of walmarx heiress and painted it red.
King Soopers, 655 Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80011 1.6 Miles away ---- King Soopers, 15109 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO 80011 3.3 Miles away --- Safeway, 200 Quebec St #400, Denver, CO 80230 3.2 Miles away
I feel her pain!
Seriously. Get your groceries delivered by King Soopers. I haven't walked into a grocery store for 3 years. Saves me time, money, and aggravation of dealing with humans.
some folks can't afford to have their food delivered. Kings doesn't charge but the folks doing the shopping and delivering charge 15 percent of the total bill.

Not true. King Soopers delivers directly to my house and I've never paid a fee for the delivery. Comes in a King Soopers refrigerated truck.
Grocery delivery? Uber doesn't even come out here. I live about 70 miles from the nearest king soopers.🤣
The reporter in the field spunds like token in south park when the bpys has super school news and cartman told token to "spund more whire" lmfao😂
Greate Canadian super store is goodgrocery store.
They should pay attention to the parking lot, specialy for seniors shopping conveniences .
It is very hard to find smaller carts. These carts should be closer / frontal of the building instead of soils, fertilizers or other things those things can be stocked a little further from the entrance area.
Stores are good spcialy the fruits and vegetables compared to other grocery stores.
So tricky saying theres isn't one for 6 miles "on Colfax" when directly north just 15ish blocks is a King Soopers. It's so wonderful how deceiving news media is.

The news channel didn't say that, they person they were interviewing did and it's a quote.
@@NPK476 it's deceptive that they played it. Period.
@@thebeadhive If your not media savvy, I guess it could be perceived as deceptive. Should the media not use quotes anymore because you can't tell the difference?
@NPK476 Clearly, I can tell the difference, hence my post, so there is no need for your passive-aggressive digs at me. There's a difference between the media being savvy and them being deceptive. The reporter said the "quote" instead of letting the person who initially did, aside from the quote being deceptive, the reporter saying it is intentional in giving out deceptive information. If they followed it up with information on the closest grocery store, it would have at least been better than inferring the closest grocery store was six miles away. It's kind of sad if you approve of deceptive reporting by the media like this.
So the next market is 6 miles away? the humanity!
It was a play on words, 6 miles on Colfax but there's a King Sooper's about 15 blocks directly north.

I think @bobcaygeon was being facetious. He doesn't realize that if you're a senior who has to rely on public transportation that 6 miles is a long freaking way. He'll find out...
Good. Support small businesses.
*Alright! More business for the Colorado monopoly: Kroger Brands!!!*
I shopped there before, it was not that bad there.
It was better than the Mexican store down the street
This is what happens when you have a low level garbage company combined with low level garbage employees and customers.
too much theft?
I'm predicting this building will get turned into a DG MARKET store (owned by Dollar General!)
DG just closed the store next door, doubtful.
no watythats true.i know this spot. this was about people robbing
Welcome to Aurora. Just make it into another gasoline station or car wash. Lol
There is a better grocery store two blocks away... Mercado......the lies are hilarious.
