+AdilElMaghribi What an ignorant you are!!! Your silly comment is full of bullshit!!!! The Tunisian jews are still living until today in Tunisia. They have the same rights as any other Tunisian citizen. Contrary to what you said, Tunisian-jews were well protected by the Bey of Tunisia against the threats of the Nazis during the second world war. They were even kindly sheltered and hidden by simple Tunisian families until the end of the war. At the independance of Tunisia and during its transitional period , most of the Tunisian-jews as many other Tunisians prefered to establish in France during the french economic boom. Although living in peace in Tunisia, the raise of the panarabisme, far in the middle east, made them fear. Thus, encouraged by the jewish recruitement organizations, most of them decided of their own free will to immigrate discreetly to Israel from Tunisia, but No one has burned their shops, No one has kicked them out, No one forced them to leave...which is not the case of the Morrocan jews who have been intimidated during this panarabism period according to many testimonials, pushing the large majority of them to leave Morroco...Today, every Tunisian jew i saw outside the country still have nice memories of his homeland. Most of the old generation keep following the Tunisian traditions ( wedding ceremonies, kitchen specilities, relatives relationships...). They visit Tunisia from a time to another, do their pelgrimage in the Ghriba and are in contact with the Tunisian-jews who are still living in Tunisia

@cooking4health - LOL this guy interviewed like 6 people!!! Israel has over 2 MILLION Jews from North Africa living here! Many of us adore and love our culture and are proud to be Amazigh and North African. We wear traditional clothing at our weddings, with the head dresses, have the jewelry and gift ceremonies, the Henna ceremonies, and all the music!
Israelis just don't talk about culture and reflect on it - we just DO these things. This guy is asking random people. So you are getting random answers. I hope you understand that.
For the record, I am 100% Amazigh Jewish Israeli. And very proud. My husband is from Tunis.

I grew up as a Tunisian Muslim. Jewish, Christians ..., Black or any colour or religion didn't matter at all. We were all friends, simple and happy. As I grew up, I am have realised that all the conflicts are often caused by greedy inhuman/stubborn leaders and corrupt media who use fear, lies, wars and division to accumulate wealth, kill people and make more money for themselves regardless.
All religions stem from the same root. They were all brothers and sisters but followed different directions. Tunisians Jews are no different, they are still Tunisians. There isn't much difference between religions and all of them could coexist in harmony but unfortunately, greedy humans will never allow that. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS. WAR IS ALWAYS BETTER FOR THEM.

We used to live in harmony together but when the Nazis came to Tunisia you had no problem ratting on my family like they were nothing. After Israel’s coming to existence you started becoming hostile to tunisian jews who had nothing to do with this and destroying our property. The Jews from Spain and Portugal went to the Balkans and to Morroco, only a minority to Tunisia. Tunisian Jews are descendants of mostly Carthagian Phoinicians who converted to Judaism after Rome ruined and Occupied Carthage, Judaism was in Tunisia before Islam, but they originate from the Levant, while Muslim Tunisians are mostly Amazirgh (sorry if I didn't spell that right) and some also have Levantine ethnicity since most Jews in Norh Africa were forced to convert to Islam.
