The reason why we have two ears and one mouth is we should listen twice as much as we talk . She is a perfect example of that . She is a very focused person and a fine example of our country’s youth .
Andy - thanks for taking the time to train Sarah. Sarha - Thanks for being open to learning a new skill. Always nice to see a young person taking the time to learn something and not spending all their time on facebook. Thanks for the great video guys.
First off I would like to thank you for sharing all of your videos. I know it takes time out of an already busy schedule. Secondly, I admire your patience in teaching your children how to operate your equipment and showing them the ropes, educating them, and including them in on what needs to be done on the farm. And finally, kudos to your daughter on wanting to operate the chopper and the haybine. She sure does a great job and seems to be a quick learner. It was fun to watch your little guy plant corn also. I sure do miss the life on the farm and the cows too. Thanks for letting me see how you guys operate
It's good that she listens instead of talking. When I was her age my Dad use to tell me you don't learn anything if you're the one talking. Smart girl.
Andy you're doing a good job the kid is paying attention just like she's in a classroom I know this is an old video but I know she must know a lot about the tractors now so that's going to put you out of a job she the next generation don't forget to teach the boy thanks for sharing this video with me I'm going to keep watching them 👍🇺🇸
Awesome job, I can’t wait to teach my sons and daughters how to run equipment and drive tractors, I wish more kids got the opportunity to do this kinda stuff:)
So it has gone on in all times, the kids begin early, to later take over the farm. This is what makes agriculture continue generation after generation.
Light bulb turn never heard that before we just call it a teardrop turn. But she is doing better that I would and I'm 19 but not around tech much. You go girl.
Just a few comments! We was looking at a 8360R with ivt used it for 2 day sent it back way to much crap to deal with plus try to teach an 80 year old how to run it when he's already set in his ways. We ended up getting a older 8330 power shift and cranking it up a bit much easier i think.I need to borrow some of your patience with kids I've seemed to have misplaced mine.
Sarah good job dad u did her justice teaching her u both did real good by the way she may give dad the boot and say I'm taking over u do the dirty work dad
Child labor! Gee whiz. As a kid nothing better than a chance to run a tractor and we didn't have AC. And she can tell most of the boys she knows how to run a lot more expensive piece of equipment than they can.
When leening You sideshift the mower, is that because Your gps doesn't compensent for this or is it because gravity moves the mower in relation to tracktor?
Yep she don’t look happy? Lmao Sometimes daughters don’t really listen fully! I know had three of them. The first pair were 5 years apart then my last one was 13 years apart. Yes empty nest was killing us!! Lol but they all acted alike!!! No matter the years.
This video just came up in my recommended list. I think the title is wrong, thats Sara your 18 year old daughter wearing her seatbelt in the tractor after completing an equipment pre-inspection form complying with all osha and google requirements. Lol..
i'm only new to farming (2 year's) and i'm on the old school side for steering .....and can't get the step daughter into the farm machinery dame them iphone's
Andy did you tell her the real reason our generation came up with autosteer? .. was so it looked like we were working hard while drinking our beer.? .... i know. " shut up Dave!" Lol
it looks as if she knows what to do, you just don't stop talking to let her think for her self,, we call that intimidation tactics, just let her do it, stop mixing her up, when shes a head of you
Greg Shearer Absolutely agree with you 100% plus you can eat your lunch while cutting. You learn how to cut when you do the first perimeter cut without hitting anything.
great job sarah, you are always ready to do anything for dad you have my respect and i' m 65
Wow! I am amazed! The whole video and not a single time yakking on her I phone! You have a great young lady there Andrew!
Mowing like a professional!! Great job Sarah!!

She isn't much of a talker, just a good listener it seems. Good teaching!
Enjoy these training exercises, your patience and experience will be rewarded

I can read her mind, "shut up dad your making me nervous". Lol🤗🤗🤗
So it has gone on in all times, the kids begin early, to later take over the farm.
This is what makes agriculture continue generation after generation.

Soybean Farmer it is at first yes
She's smart she'll be running the business before you know it
Good stuff bro .
Good she is learning how to do it, but does she like doing it?
can you do a video sometime triple mower vs self propelled mower pros cons of both ?
Do you have conditioners on your mowers?
No
I'm with her on the steering but then again I'm just an old guy!!! But I have to admit that auto steer is great!
Rodney Erdmann yes it is
Andrew Hourigan my 60s and 70s tractors don't have that auto steer option haha
You could also do it with a mower conditioner.
first time I mowed was with a JD 7ft mowing machine with a sickle blade
It takes a little time but young people catch on quickly. Kinda like a big moving video game of sorts. She will do fine........
Nice work! How many cuts are you getting a year?
Josh Janes 4
Damn what the hell kinda field has hill like that?
Sarah is doing great. Just think Sarah if old man dad can do it so can you LOL
Child labor! Gee whiz. As a kid nothing better than a chance to run a tractor and we didn't have AC. And she can tell most of the boys she knows how to run a lot more expensive piece of equipment than they can.
dam how many feet u cut at a round? i got a 2019 deer 280 i think its like 8"7in i kinda feel like its a toy now haha
Around 30'
She must get her looks from Mom🤔🤔🤔🤔 Just kidding she's doing a good job for the first time 👍👍👍
Budd 56 defiantly gets her looks from Mom, loved the comment thanks for watching.
One of these days I got to hook up with the 235 and pottinger with whitie
love it
She is very quiet. Still water runs deep. Seems to be a very nice young woman. Not hard to look at either.
When leening You sideshift the mower, is that because Your gps doesn't compensent for this or is it because gravity moves the mower in relation to tracktor?
Magnus Carlander because of the way the tractor sits
Yep she don’t look happy? Lmao
Sometimes daughters don’t really listen fully! I know had three of them. The first pair were 5 years apart then my last one was 13 years apart. Yes empty nest was killing us!! Lol but they all acted alike!!! No matter the years.
You have a nice looking family!!!
Is any of the older guys your son or sons?
good for her lovily job
thats crazy man
Sarah is a beauty girl even more when she smile, but i think the gopro embarrassed her
Andrew I know it would take me a long time too do that job 🙄 🐝
Andrew does ur daughter want to work that job again 🤔🐝
Curt Weatherbee yeah she would like to do it again.
Meanwhile 19 years old , hard to see how fast time goes by……
This video just came up in my recommended list. I think the title is wrong, thats Sara your 18 year old daughter wearing her seatbelt in the tractor after completing an equipment pre-inspection form complying with all osha and google requirements.
Lol..
Finally us old guys too tecky for the kids lmao
i'm only new to farming (2 year's) and i'm on the old school side for steering .....and can't get the step daughter into the farm machinery dame them iphone's
carl byrne kids have a lot of other things on their minds these days.
u need to move the fucntions to ur cvvs buttons
I ain't sure what my thoughts are on that a
if you dont use the autosteer you wil cut twice as much hay in 1day
most girls her age never touched a tractor yet drive one .
@@jonnywilson9117 That's such a primitive thinking
@@trossponsor9077 Is it though?
@@jonnywilson9117 Are you kidding me
@@trossponsor9077 The same question goes for you. Explain to me just how it's "primitive thinking"
Andy did you tell her the real reason our generation came up with autosteer? .. was so it looked like we were working hard while drinking our beer.? .... i know. " shut up Dave!" Lol
Lol
i am like her that auto steer is to much a pain in the rear
she thinks you are old school!!!
it looks as if she knows what to do, you just don't stop talking to let her think for her self,, we call that intimidation tactics, just let her do it, stop mixing her up, when shes a head of you
if you realy want tho learn tho mow you dont use autosteer becaus mowing dosent recauier autosteer if you steer id your self id wil work way beter
Auto has no effect on mowing it just allows the operator to concentrate more on the mowers and less fatigue on them so stop talking out ur arse
Greg Shearer Absolutely agree with you 100% plus you can eat your lunch while cutting.
You learn how to cut when you do the first perimeter cut without hitting anything.
Your daughter looks annoyed I dont think she has fun to drive this kind of machine
She likes running equipment
