Gotta love monster hunter tutorial logic. 'I cant beat a monster coz he does this'....'No problem! Build this armor you can only get after you beat that monster and that will stop him!'
I was once traped in a roar battle between a Rathian and a Rathlos. all they did was roar at each other that felt like forever. must have been 6-8 roars in a row.
I wish the video had a different title. Such fire and Ice defense build etc. I skipped over it while looking for a survivability build for my character. Im starting to get close calls on almost failing hunts.
The most rare for of death happen to me during one of fights against Arch Temper Val Hazak, the evil odogaron roar in the exact moment when Val was stated his death beam at me.
And we were talking about something like this with some guys the other day because damn this roars are annoying, guess found something to grind and to aim for thank you.
I use HH and whenever I'm playing an encore someone roars and stops it, now that I have this set, with +50 health and immunity to all stun, I'll be blasting music till the day I die.
Interesting and flexible build. If you wanted even more survivability, you could equip one more Bazel piece for the set bonus which prevents you from getting one-shot as long as your health is above a certain level (marked by red arrows on your health bar) which will definitely be good for the tempered elder dragons. Granted, with that particular set (Arrekz' SOS SnS build), I haven't actually tested it out against the tempered elder dragons yet so can't confirm how useful it is. There's also a really stupid build that one of my friends uses which I basically call "The Invincible Heavy Bow Gun" because he's able to block literally everything with that dinky little shield on the front of his gun. Idk what it exactly is but he definitely has the Uragan set bonus and maxed levels of guard. It blocks tempered Nergigante enrage dives and tempered Kirin lightning with no problem.
Gear - Decoration Dragonking eyepatch A - Weakness Exploit Kirin Jacket B - Divine Blessing Ingot Vambraces B - Health Boost Bazel Coil B - Critical Boost Barroth Graves B - Stun Resistance x2 Weapon - Critical Boost ^This gives you Weakness Exploit 3, Critical Boost 2, Divine Blessing 3, Health Boost 3 and Stun Resistance 3. If your weapon only have a lv1 deco slot you can use Xeno Vambraces A and a health boost decom on both Xeno's and your weapon.
Tried this out last night and it was awesome. I use a bow and standing face to face with the monster and shooting a dragon piercer down its throat while its roaring is way to satisfying. I switched out a couple things, I use nergi chest for stamina surge and bazel legs to get the 3 piece bonus, I also switched the charm to constitution. Changed some of the gems too, I put in 3 speed eating gems for no wait hp recharge.
I would like to see if you could make a really good build with the Damacus set. One of best defensive set. Probably has to be Charge Blade build, because of it's level 3 focus you get (level 3 focus didn't seem to do much with a Long Sword). I like the idea of taking full armor set (perhaps change one armor piece), and then see what weapons will make them the most effective.
Guild headset B, damascus chest B and waist B and either val hazak arms B or ingot arms B and damascus B or Kulve legs B. Before i learned all the eldar dragons i could put 2 sets of elements on it, and have 6 defense. Divine blessing maxd and Vitality maxd and sometimes put in a status immunity. I went with hbg so i charmed Artillery but you can get stun, evade whatever on your charm.
Like many people it seems, most of my deaths happen after a roar followed up by a one shot attack by said monster. This is probably the most important skill you can have in the game if you are a close in fighter type class.
I mean this only really applies, if you have weapons that can't counter and you don't know the general evasion timing. If you use ls/gs/cb/lance/gunlance/sns etc. you won't need earplugs ever. Just guard/guardpoint/bash etc. and you'll get your free damage window or even power-up with the ls. Also wow on the Nergi "tip". If you don't superman dive the big spike-dive he does, you're just doing it wrong. His roar is short enough to always give you time to dive, dodging literally all the damage.
"Daora Gem" NEVER. If it was anyone else, maybe, but Daora? NEVER AGAIN. Either way, great build. It's nice to see a build focus on Defense instead of "MAXIMUM DPS" or "HIGHEST DAMAGE IN A SINGLE HIT" like *every single other build video on UA-cam* does.
Lagiacrus Poison nor Elderseal stops his tornadoes from fucking you over while fighting him and Windproof, even at max level, will do nothing to make his fight more bearable with a melee weapon. The only effective strategy I found that works on him is flash-pod spamming his annoying-ass into oblivion. And even then, THAT almost took me forever.
Then you need to get good at the fight. Poison deactivates his black Dragon Wind (the reason why windproof doesnt work here) as does elder seal. The rest is up to you. Maybe pack some ice resistance too.
Well I kind of got the 3 bazel armor peices that gives you earplugs and combined them with the Diablos chest piece beta and Diablos boots that gives you tremor lv2 and slugger, also unlocking the Diablos skill set that makes it easier to give stun effect the more dull your weapon gets and it works very well to punish any monster as long as you have a good strategy to avoid getting hit. And it worked out for me very well.
another thing to consider is using bazel greaves, you lose latent power but get a free death prevention from the 3 set bonus, since it is a defence focused build =D
I run final great jagras switch axe with a level 3 stamina thief charm. Pretty good against most monster making them exhausted. Leaves nice openings for teammates to deal massive damage.
My set has max attack boost and max earplugs. Use this Nergi coil a or b Dober greaves b Bazel helm a Bazel greaves a High metal mail a Attack charm lll The bazel greaves, helm, and high metal mail will give you earplugs 5 The nergi coil, dober greaves, and attack charm lll will give you attack boost 7. I use this set for my hammer as i won't be stopped during my sliding attack
I really don't like using the Evasion+5, because it's one of those skills where if you become reliant on it, you become a worse Hunter once it's gone. Evade Distance is perfectly fine tho
Dual blades with speed sharpening and eating maxed out with either marathon runner or constitution. Speed sharpening with the protective coating for 1 minute if white sharpness basically pertinent white lol.
Max Earplug and max evasion seem to be a bit redundant, if your evasion is maxed that should make rolling through roars a simple enough task. I made an earplug DB set that is quickly becoming my "One set Kills all" set. I main DBs but the set should work with any wpns give or take a few adjustments to jewels or armor pieces. Check it out on Arekkz discord in the mixed set submissions under my name. The set is most optimal with Xeno weapons for the two lvl3 slots but any lvl2 weapon should do. The set is also not gem dependent, but is mainly a mid-end game set.
Earplugs works with monsters health...try level 3 earplugs an use rocksteady mantle to drop the monster to weak health....rocksteady mantle is level 5 earplugs for 90secs
Hi! I'm thinking of creating a evasion and affinity build. Max evade window and evade extender. Also max critical eye and weakness exploit. Everything else would pretty much be optional. So do u think it would be worth the time and decorations or should I try something else? I'm using the Insect Glaive.
michaelmath I know. 😅 I kinda exaggerated a bit and I was working with incorrect knowledge when I posted this. I think I'm still going to get some evasion but obviously not as much!😂😂😅😅 Thanks for the tidbit of info!
i keep finding myself getting caught in roars thinking "wish i had earplugs" then i sit up alittle bit get gud and guard point the roars like a good little charge blader
ehm, your math seems quite far off, devine intervention is nowhere close to vitality, it averages out at 12,5%, while getting from 150hp to 200hp is a 33,3% increase. hp gets multiplied(damage taken gets divided) by defence/80, meaning with 320def and 150hp you can eat 600 damage, with 200hp its 800. also, hp increase works for all forms of damage, so it is allways the first pick, no other def-skill gets even close. btw. you can just use a lvl3 amulet. i always wear mine, even on an otherwise damage oriented build.
Yeah I am actually super tempted and deciding to work on getting max earplugs for my heavy bowgun build. the sheathe is already shit, and being roared at right before a 1 shot skill or hard hitting attack (yeah you, fucking nergigante....) is just a death sentence. no earplugs literally forces me to carry shield on my HBG, but the damage i still take is pretty high, and then there have been times where the shield didn't work properly despite me standing still, facing the monster, and not doing any other action like reloading and shooting. So I am definitely going to invest in earplugs.
I dunno why all builds must be either max this or max that. My armor set that consists of four guild cross pieces and Airy elder chest has mix of defense (usually 3 gems reserved to combat hunt's thing. Like fire resist for Teostra ,miasma for Vaal). Some affinity, definitely 3 divine blessing. It serves me well due the sheer amount of gem slots due aforementioned adaptibility and since I am aggressive tackler with GS, the added HP and defense help a ton when tackling through a heavy hit and I wish to keep on hitting without teetering in carting risk. Also. "Slot in some attack gems", implying it is easy to get those gems >.>
Did they change how earplugs stack? I have 2 lvls from the Bazel helm and a lvl 3 earplug gem slotted but i am only getting the benefit of 3 lvls intead of 5.
Heres something, take off the waist from bazel since the earplugs gem is auto lvl 3 and the helm is an auto lvl 2 earplugs, so having the waist is completely useless, deaths stench waist is great for defence and has 2 skill slots or use a diff waist that has attack up or anything else 😪
Jimmy Vader decorations and jewels are the same thing, the jewels are the decorations for example. Idk why he says gems, the sockets on the armor, and the feystones look like gems I guess
Thanks, I see a lot of UA-camrs calling them gems, and it confuses me. As long as they are talking about decorations, then I'm not lost. Thanks for clarifying.
Daniel Vicente all gems are skills, so they're still gemming a skill technically, but the decorations is just another name for gem, so you could even say deccing a skill.
Latent power is kinda shit. Receiving 150damage in a fixed amount of time only to be activated for 90seconds? I'll pass. Anyways 3 piece bazel armor prevents one shots from any monster. That might be worth working into but hey, that's just me.
Well timed rolls can be used to dodge roars. The Invincibility frames can even be extended with perk. If you time it correctly you'll dodge the roar anyways. Your making yourself handicap in this game by taking earplug perk. If you can slot it in with damascus armor then go for it. However I would slot in Attack 7 with Diablos Dualblades, and weakness exploit. You could go as far to augment it for -15% affinity, but raw doesn't lose out to your current equipment. If anything you can fix it with handicraft 5. Weapon : Diablos Clubs II Head : Dragonking Eyepatch Alpha Weakness Exploit 2 Body : Damascus Mail Beta Focus 2 (3 SLOTS!) Hand : Diablos Nero Braces Beta Focus 1 (2 slots) Replacable Waist : Guild Cross Coil Beta Fortify1 (replaceable) Id rather gem this in and replace with better Legs : Death Stench Heel Beta Handicraft 2 Charm : Attack Charm III Mantle 1 : Rocksteady Mantle Mantle 2 : Immunity Mantle Skills: Attack Boost 7 Critical Eye 5 Weakness Exploit 3 Focus 3 Handicraft 2 Critical Boost 1 Fortify 1 Non-Elemental Boost 1 Decorations : 4 Attack jewels 5 Expert jewels 1 critical jewel 1 elementless jewel 1 tenderizer jewel This is similar to what I use. but I've traded out some piece for slightly different bonus.
Artsificial is the best way to do it for first time then you can help other or just f%#$ around with others .i have done the whole story alone .just one time use help against anji.ath after that all alone ..unless u know your team 👍(i dont have friends whit MHW) 😔
Life Powder heal your teammates. Do it and take the small loss. You've got to make your team win. If you see someone stuned or paralyzed hit them to knock them out of it
One of the trophies/achievements is to collect 50 cards from other players. I found it useful in that I had plenty of data to compare myself with and see who progressed at a similar pace to mine, who got stuck, who gave up and who no-lifed it. When I first felt I wanted to try and get help, within five minutes, I had a clan, team mates and just a reliable bunch of similar minded folk without even once putting on a headset. It was refreshing. I liked that very much.
Or just evade at the right time. Not to be a dick, though... Evasion rolling gives 6 frames of invincibility (or from 1/10 to 1/20 of a second) at the very beginning. Also not being Leeroy J. MkII and Superman diving before the roar, being invincible the entire time, is acceptable. If you want to practice rolling through things, try low rank barroth. (Also, Evasion mantle gives extra i-frames and rewards you) I hope this helped at least a little bit. Please don’t overextend your capabilities and end up getting pelted back to Astera. Thank you
such low stats for a defense armorset :/ even against the lavasioth its pretty low... yes earplugs and evasion are great, but lol.. not that good in general fights
he uses the Dialos Lies sword, 2x fake decs , 2x bullsh1t decs and im a noob that bragg about fake stats i have but never post a build to get attention. hope i didnt miss any part of his build
Just dodge the roars nooooobs!!! Git gud :D :D :D Now seriously, avoiding the roars is a great felling but damn its difficult :/ but im getting better at it pretty fast lately :)
In a game like monster hunter, the best thing you can possibly do to help your team is by contributing GOOD dps. Having a highly defensive set is great... if you’re trash at dodging. You shouldn’t have to create a tanking set for your inability to do one the most simple, yet important functions in the game. All you’re doing is slowing your team and submitting yourself to 20 minute hunts for stupid monsters like great jagras. In world you’re invincibility frames upon dodging are actually quite high. With practice, you can literally dodge through every monster’s roar. If you don’t think you’re of such, then try using a weapon that can counter it. Like a a chargeblade guardpoint, critical juncture on longsword, or just flat out blocking. Basically what I’m saying is, stop making aggressively mediocre sets to compensate for your lack in practice (and/or skill). Ps. It’s SET, not build. Stop saying build or I’ll hack your legs off

Gotta love monster hunter tutorial logic. 'I cant beat a monster coz he does this'....'No problem! Build this armor you can only get after you beat that monster and that will stop him!'
haha right
Gotta love the people that find anything to bitch at 😂
Taylor Weeks and what are you doing ?
@@taylorweeks5440 the troll
Then you clearly aren't progressed far enough to beat the monster.
I was once traped in a roar battle between a Rathian and a Rathlos. all they did was roar at each other that felt like forever. must have been 6-8 roars in a row.
That happened to me, its the best thing ever
Been carted twice in a row when battling two Beetlejuices and they offset their roars. It is rough! hahaha
happened to me as well, running out of time to capture that rathian. After getting roared back and forth, they got tired and flew away.....
That's why nowadays I run with +5 Earplugs... lol
I feel your pain
This is the build I have been searching for! Everybody focuses on attack. Bet I could make more Dps if Im actually alive.
I wish the video had a different title. Such fire and Ice defense build etc.
I skipped over it while looking for a survivability build for my character. Im starting to get close calls on almost failing hunts.
Don't need to use the fire and ice blades lol. Can use any weapon
I hate it when a roar makes me lose my hammer charge. I consider earplugs an offense skill, not defense, just because of that.
Enrique Velez
Defensive skills causing your offensive skills not be interrupted is still a defensive skill
Also hello Mii profile picture
Ah yes my hammer bro!
true ...... same goes for a GS user
The most rare for of death happen to me during one of fights against Arch Temper Val Hazak, the evil odogaron roar in the exact moment when Val was stated his death beam at me.
Saw Datto do something like this. he called it the anti-bullshit build
Haha it's pretty much what it is
i still wanna know who thought quad roar was a good idea :/ beeing stunlocked for over 10 sec doesn't seem like fun to me.
I lost a Giant crown Kushala because I got stunned by its roar and carted...
Oh no T_T that is the worst
TagBackTV At least I got double gems from the next hunt from him tho lol. Still salty about the crown loss.
Kathrine Wilbanks The Kushala was abnormally huge. I've been farming it and know what the size is.
you make us lololol ;)
I lost a small crown Vaal Hazak. :(
Lmfaooo I love ur intro. "You might not look like a baller, but you'll certainly feel like one!"
And we were talking about something like this with some guys the other day because damn this roars are annoying, guess found something to grind and to aim for thank you.
you could also make an earplug's charm and find a piece or two with the level 3 decoration slots so you have a bit more freedom with your build.
HIGHLY recommend divine blessing over Vitality.
I use HH and whenever I'm playing an encore someone roars and stops it, now that I have this set, with +50 health and immunity to all stun, I'll be blasting music till the day I die.
I got double teamed by the elder dragon power couple. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ While one roars, the other attacks and vice versa until I faint. 🙄😂😂😂
Gear - Decoration
Dragonking eyepatch A - Weakness Exploit
Kirin Jacket B - Divine Blessing
Ingot Vambraces B - Health Boost
Bazel Coil B - Critical Boost
Barroth Graves B - Stun Resistance x2
Weapon - Critical Boost
^This gives you Weakness Exploit 3, Critical Boost 2, Divine Blessing 3, Health Boost 3 and Stun Resistance 3. If your weapon only have a lv1 deco slot you can use Xeno Vambraces A and a health boost decom on both Xeno's and your weapon.
Earplug charm 3 for earplug lv5
I think Leap of Faith would be perfect to add to this build
Tried this out last night and it was awesome. I use a bow and standing face to face with the monster and shooting a dragon piercer down its throat while its roaring is way to satisfying. I switched out a couple things, I use nergi chest for stamina surge and bazel legs to get the 3 piece bonus, I also switched the charm to constitution. This is good and everything but good look getting those specific jewels
I can look into this! It is sad that a lot of the full armor sets aren't great without mixing them a bit.
Thanks, i had all i needed to make this set right away! 7:16 Analement sounds painfull, so it must be good!

"Daora Gem"
NEVER.
Can't Say I didnt make those myself, But happy to report I have a bunch of fun Defense "anti BS" and support builds coming :)
Perfect, great even!
What do you have against Kushy? Use a poison weapon and his tornados will become low breezes. Its that simple.
Lagiacrus
Poison nor Elderseal stops his tornadoes from fucking you over while fighting him and Windproof, even at max level, will do nothing to make his fight more bearable with a melee weapon.
The only effective strategy I found that works on him is flash-pod spamming his annoying-ass into oblivion. And even then, THAT almost took me forever.

Ahh Very True!
You can also dodge some roars but some monster with short roars usually roar twice. So you have to dodge twice
I run final great jagras switch axe with a level 3 stamina thief charm. Pretty good against most monster making them exhausted. Leaves nice openings for teammates to deal massive damage.
Thx I'll have to keep this in mind when I get the game
With the new armor sets and weapons out now i think it's time to update earplugs build. I created mine and its a great damage dealer
Literally, I am in the middle of crafting that same stuff. Lol. Can't wait till it's finished.
Thought you were going for the Bazel set bonus, that can literally stop a single one hit KO(though you survive with only 1 hp)
My set has max attack boost and max earplugs.
Use this
Nergi coil a or b
Dober greaves b
Bazel helm a
Bazel greaves a
High metal mail a
Attack charm lll
The bazel greaves, helm, and high metal mail will give you earplugs 5
The nergi coil, dober greaves, and attack charm lll will give you attack boost 7.
I use this set for my hammer as i won't be stopped during my sliding attack
A build I can actually make. I keep getting earplug gems, instead of attack gems... I guess I'll go with this.
Actually sometimes the roar save you before nergi superman dive canceling true final slash animation for great sword xD . Allowing you to run
Doesn't bother me. I counter the majority of a monsters roars with that Longsword baby!!! But it can definitely still be an effective build
I definitely need to improve my longsword game
I always get caught up in the roars when I jump attack them (longsword) and it is sooo annoying. Will defs be using this build for that :)
do you wear a fedora and tip it consistently for the debuff?
Idc, ALL of my builds have max earplugs and max stun resistance, hate being roared and stunned, also have a max defense of (after buffs) 534!!
Evade window and evade extender work well together
Is ur palico wearing a HZD head piece?
My hunting mates are jealous of my Bazel set with default lvl5 earplugs
The problem with this set is... by the time you can make it you probably already learned all the monsters move set.... XD
From the far future (June). This would be good tiers with new temporal mantle
Laughs in countering roars with long sword
Earplugs works with monsters health...try level 3 earplugs an use rocksteady mantle to drop the monster to weak health....rocksteady mantle is level 5 earplugs for 90secs
Hi! I'm thinking of creating a evasion and affinity build. Max evade window and evade extender. Also max critical eye and weakness exploit. Everything else would pretty much be optional. Lucian Malkoro I would say yes, evade window and extend helps a lot with IG imo
Thanks! Hopefully it turns out to be pretty solid.
This is pretty much the Deviant Nargacuga armor from MHGen. Its a good set of skills. Maybe even go for additional crit damage.
I think I am going to add more. This is my first monster hunter but I love the monster hunter genre though. Thanks for the advice bro!
michaelmath I know. 😅 I kinda exaggerated a bit and I was working with incorrect knowledge when I posted this. I think I'm still going to get some evasion but obviously not as much!😂😂😅😅 Thanks for the tidbit of info!
Just use earplugs charm level 3 and sub a decoration in dragons eye patch for pretty much no downtime in roars
i keep finding myself getting caught in roars thinking "wish i had earplugs" then i sit up alittle bit get gud and guard point the roars like a good little charge blader
ehm, your math seems quite far off, devine intervention is nowhere close to vitality, it averages out at 12,5%, while getting from 150hp to 200hp is a 33,3% increase.

that and most likely quick sheathe.

Doesn’t bother me I take advantage of the terrain in preparation for that roar at all times
Opinions on guard5 and guard up gunlance?
I made a set with Earplugs + Agitator lvl 5 i love it
so where the hell do i find dragoncore ore ive been doing tempered investigatins and this new event with anjanath and rathian and still nothing
I already have a earplugs in one of my slots. Is that not enough? Thought we only have 2 ears..... lol
I made the exact same build two weeks ago except I have the brigade cross chest.
i mean, sure you could build a set for it, or use hunting horn and obliterate monsters anyways while having earplugs.
Rayalia Maelstrom hunting horn is boring
Lol the earplugs 5000
If you only have level 3 earplugs and it says nullifies small monster roars, does it shorten the large monster roar stun time?
i would change the legs to kushala B for evade distance and a lvl 3 slot
Did they change how earplugs stack? I have 2 lvls from the Bazel helm and a lvl 3 earplug gem slotted but i am only getting the benefit of 3 lvls intead of 5.

Tony Payne It's a level 3 gem. It only gives you one point in that skill.
Can you run this set using a hammer?
Is it gems or decorations!? I'm so confused!
Jimmy Vader Back then, people would "gem" in the decorations. All previous MH titles, people would "gem" in a skill.
Daniel Vicente all gems are skills, so they're still gemming a skill technically, but the decorations is just another name for gem, so you could even say deccing a skill.
Where to get basil? Or who to kill? I'm hr9
Does this work with a charge blade?
I can't equip the earplugs, Needs higher gem slot? I can't tell which are high rank and which aren't. apparently the nergigante aren't high tier? wut?
I feel like this build could be a lot more defensive if you threw out all DPS skills and just went ham with Defense stuff.
You know what sucks? Being half way through a dragon piercer and the monster roars, really annoying
I agree
Nergigante like hey biatch
hahah exactly
I cant put the earplugs ):
any reliable farm for protective polish gem? ive farmed over a hundred gems from threat 1-3 tempered monsters and got not a single one >_>
unfortunately its completely random :(
U dont need earlplugs when u use ls
The only problem i see is with the defense. Its quite low for a mid to late game/late game set.
I think he just didn't upgrade it, because I made the build and upgraded each piece and I've got 365 defense.
Try it with charge blade
Where do you get the kaiser gear?
volcomsnowdave teo
Toaster
where do you find vitality jewel?
random drop man, gotta grind it.
drops
Weapon : Diablos Clubs II
Head : Dragonking Eyepatch Alpha Weakness Exploit 2
Body : Damascus Mail Beta Focus 2 (3 SLOTS!)
Hand : Diablos Nero Braces Beta Focus 1 (2 slots) Replacable
Waist : Guild Cross Coil Beta Fortify1 (replaceable) Id rather gem this in and replace with better
Legs : Death Stench Heel Beta Handicraft 2
Charm : Attack Charm III
Mantle 1 : Rocksteady Mantle
Mantle 2 : Immunity Mantle
Skills:
Attack Boost 7
Critical Eye 5
Weakness Exploit 3
Focus 3
Handicraft 2
Critical Boost 1
Fortify 1
Non-Elemental Boost 1
Decorations :
4 Attack jewels
5 Expert jewels
1 critical jewel
1 elementless jewel
1 tenderizer jewel
This is similar to what I use. but I've traded out some piece for slightly different bonus.
I eventually gave up on doing HR49 Kirin with randoms. Did it alone first try. Just going in with a Dark Souls attitude was what did the trick for me.
Fuck the critical eye go for protective coating and speed sharpening
*sound of hunting horn mains laughing*
How come u have two Mantles
Gmabit you'll unlock an additional mantle/booster slot upon completing the main story
+50 health is a useless skill since every meal already gives you +50 Health and you cant go over 150 health total.
Hahaha you can go over 150 health. Helps if you watch the video;)
You actually can if you have a health boost skill it'll stack with the meals. So he actually have 200 health in total.
wat? lol you can have 200 health
Uhhh yes you can
Lagiacrus u can most def go over 150 max health...ive had a max of 200
I cringed when i saw the 305 defence xD
Roars bother me because they work even if your behind the monster... makes zero logical sense.
Roars shouldn’t stop you from moving at all it’s bullshit doesn’t make sense
Or just evade at the right time. Not to be a dick, though... Evasion rolling gives 6 frames of invincibility (or from 1/10 to 1/20 of a second) at the very beginning. Also not being Leeroy J. MkII and Superman diving before the roar, being invincible the entire time, is acceptable. If you want to practice rolling through things, try low rank barroth. (Also, Evasion mantle gives extra i-frames and rewards you)
I hope this helped at least a little bit. Please don’t overextend your capabilities and end up getting pelted back to Astera. Thank you
Just use the hunting horn
The intro lol
such low stats for a defense armorset :/ even against the lavasioth its pretty low... yes earplugs and evasion are great, but lol.. not that good in general fights
Just need to level and augment it
my defensive build goes further with, no stun, no flinch, and wind resistance, along with having the roar resist
Boi I got earplugs, stun immunity, tremor immunity, max evade extension, and while still having over 450 defense. No monster got nothing on this 👌😂
dude! CAN I HAVE YOUR BUILD?!!?
What's your build?
he uses the Dialos Lies sword, 2x fake decs , 2x bullsh1t decs and im a noob that bragg about fake stats i have but never post a build to get attention. hope i didnt miss any part of his build
jamie keflin You mean me? What are you even talking about? Lol
Sir Lexion Yes he did. Kinda obvs
Just dodge the roars nooooobs!!! Git gud :D :D :D
Now seriously, avoiding the roars is a great felling but damn its difficult :/ but im getting better at it pretty fast lately :)
Stop saying build or I’ll hack your legs off
i use insect glaive
