Guys, there’s no way I can make “words” sound (read) with the actual heartfelt meaning it would and should have. I truly envy you guys and the family, where you go and what you get to see. I didn’t grow up with parents that liked to travel a lot. My Dad was in WWll and was stationed in Japan (paratrooper) swore he’d never sleep in a tent or outside again, guess I can’t blame him. Mom on the other hand, loved camping and fishing. Long story short, not that you will but don’t ever take what you’re doing for granted because there’s people like me out here that would give a kidney, right eyeball, and a big toe to be out there doing what you guys are doing. Thank you for great, entertaining videos, tell your sister thanks for great video/editing/narrating, and thank your parents for being on the same page, taking the chance and jumping out there. I promise I won’t make anymore long comments again!! 🏍💨🤠
I commented on the EFRT channel too I think but it is so cool that we camped in the exact same spot in Monument Valley, and maybe only a couple weeks from when you guys were there. It's so cool. We initially set up in the upper section but eventually moved down to the lower flat area because the kids kept almost rolling down the hill.
Awesome guys!!! Pete you are giving that bike a workout!! You going for the shaggy Covid cut again? Dan I agree that's an awesome view! Even if it was on solid Rock just hammer those stakes in for a view like that!!!!
Wow the bikes are taking a beating especially Pete 😆 that’s what they’re made for that tent looks pretty cool, I’m glad you guys are starting to do some camping on your own. You might want to look into some of that gear that has heat coils in the shirts and the pants that you can charge up and gloves with the colder weather riding ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
Awesome episode guys! They just keep getting better and better. Nice to see you guys hang out together and share you stories, and also go over your super cool set up and gear. Sincerely Mike and Carolyn your friends at MC Ranch Overland.
Awesome! Found your channel this morning, and binge watched every episode! Would love to see a little more of camp life but truly like your content. The cup on the bottom of your MSR stove is the priming cup. Open the valve until the cup fills with fuel, light the fuel in the cup, it heats that tube turning liquid to vapour, and that is how that stove is designed to work. You have a new fan lads, so keep living your Dash!!! - Davey.
Good show, it's fun watching you two come into your own. I notice no whisper lite stove, personally I ditched mine years ago, I never enjoyed the ball of flame to get the vapor going. I find the canisters do just fine in the cold, if the canister starts to freeze up I just use my hands to warm it up.
Hi guys, awesome area your riding through. I think you would be much better off with heated grips. I have them on my DRZ400. They work well to 40 degrees F but after that I change to heated gloves. Those we have rode down to 0 degrees F. Glad to see you two on bikes. Thanks for the videos.
2021 bikes don"t need the dongle for the ABS because the rear ABS is deactivated when in "Off-road" mode. Or at least it is on European versions over here on 2021 bikes (not earlier models). But you do need the Offroad dongle to keep your settings. Frankly, I wish all these bikes would just leave all this technology off and let us ride them.
Guys i just have that feeling that if you want your explorations and meanwhile your channel to take off, you have to leave the nest. It looks like you guys are limited by where the jeeps go, and hence the EFRT channel too, simply because they are your logistic support. Feels like it's almost time for you guys to properly gear those bikes for touring, and go on to your own adventures and show us how you can explore with bikes and not just jeeps. Cheers!
Other than some trail rashes and the side case leak have you had any issues with your 690s? Any oil consumption or other things of concern? I have a 2019 and other than a bad countershaft seal it has been stellar after 7200 miles.
I know you boys said you wanted to practice with all the gear on but you need to hone in on your skills a ton more and those bags aren’t helping anything other than protecting your bike every time you drop it. Make it lighter and easier and your confidence and skills should improve. Oh and buy the KTM dongle that keeps whatever settings you have when the bike is turned off.
When learning how to balance, maintain throttle and clutch control, you should always make the bike as light as possible so you can lock in the fundamentals. Once you learn them, the gear you have on the bike won't matter so much. I rolled my new 2002 XR 650 L off the lot 20 years ago and this thing has 28K mikes on it. I've been everywhere. The slower you go over this type of stuff the harder it is to keep your balance. Forget about traction control as you learn to balance and maintain throttle control. It's too distracting at this stage in your skill level. Mom, keep them away from the cliff trials. They are not yet skilled enough.
I’m still confused as to why you guys still have bags on the bikes when there’s always a convoy of Jeep’s following you around to carry your stuff and do all your cooking for you.

That's some knarly rock for those big bikes. Yikes. I wonder if a Rekluse might help. At least you guys are pushing your limits. ;)
We were definitely sweating. 😅 I have been considering the rekluse.
Did onion creek on my 1190 a couple years ago. Looks like that hill has gotten worse.
amazing movie loved it
Thanks for watching!

Thats awesome! It is a beautiful spot, I definitely want to go back someday.
I really enjoy these videos, boys. Such a beautiful area!
Interesting about that traction control feature. Call me old school but I think I would rather have just driver control (throttle/clutch/brake)

Another great adventure guys. No pun intended. 😀

Dongle should come with the bike to install immediately.

Thanks for the information! it took us a while to understand the stove but now we know how it works we love it!

look at you guys riding in the valley. It is so gorgeous! what a great trip! Super impressed with that tent!
YOU GUYS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!!
Thank you!
good luck on your demolition of 2 good motorcycles, looks like your having a good start!

Great video, Guys!

A man's got to know his limitations. Dirty Harry, Magnum Force.
ABS dongle is a must have to keep traction control off after stalling.

@@Britishshooter My 2021690 Enduro needs a dongle or traction control defaults on when restarted.
This is something we are now looking at getting! Thanks.

seems like outback did a bad work, projecting that bashplate
Have u had any overheating issues.???? 😁🙄😁
What kind of drone are you guys running? I have watched several of your adventures, great video!
We are using a skydio drone.
Great series. You should get in the habit of using the kill switch rather than the key. The kill switch won’t reset your TC or ABS.
Great advice! We found that out after...😅

They have been great! getting up to 2500 miles on them 95% off-road and no problems that didn't directly result from a crash or fall.
You guys looking at getting some heated grips for your bikes?
Definitely something we’ll add in the future! 👍🏻

yeah, you need a gear reduction for sure, rpm too low and ground speed too high from what i am seeing.
