Yeah, I'd say this one warrants a report. I can imagine this one didn't feel nice at all. And then the carnage with the esports driver was yet to begin 😱Let's just hope the report has some success and you move on.

He started well, his initial dive bomb into the hairpin was textbook, and on the exit he was probs stuck in 8 tc for a while and you hit him which is completely on you but you let him by respectfully, from then on his actions were disgusting.
Agreed, you can tell Rory had lost his composure with about ten minutes left, plain to see with the constant lip biting and nervous smile. The first half of the race as you say, was great! The other guys actions were disgusting
@@karlsmith8113 okay, the dive bomb was on Rory, then. This came up on my recommended feed, and I’m new to sim racing, so I’m still learning to recognize good and bad lines and such. The one incident with the white car that clips Rory on the side I don’t even think was on him, as he already seemed like he was outside enough on that part that the white car would have had space on the inside to at least avoid contact. That said, I don’t think it was necessarily bad intent on the white car, just a mistake. I think the only reason Rory said he didn’t know where cars were coming from, there, was that he was already flustered from dealing with the BMW, and was so focused on not getting upset, and trying to make a clean pass, that he wasn’t expecting any contact on what should have otherwise been a clean corner.
Can I ask you say the Dive bomb was on Rory but while I agree going down the inside Is a race move the part I struggle with dive bombing just because the person forces there car there in the inside if they practically bring there car to a stand still surely they haven't made the move stick if you pull the Dive bomb off and carry some speed then fair enough. But why should the other driver have to yield space to the much slower car because the driver over pushed am I reading it wrong
That was just horrendous behavior from anyone, let alone an eSports driver. This person went out of their way, letting others easily pass and braking just so Rory would be close enough, again, for them to literally wreck his car. I hope you were not the only one who reported that person

He didn't bog down. He was slower out of the corner. He dive bombed (quite well) and had to make a sharper turn. There was zero reason to expect him to carry the same speed as the car taking a better line. This just shows the inexperience of the car being overtaken.
I dont think he should back down on that move on denger 1, Rory still had the right to that corner. The hairpin though is totally on Rory, the bmw made a very good lunge, didnt miss the corner at all and he hit him from behind. The rest is the bmw being a stupid idiot.
Couple of times you did chop people off where I was holding my breath as you where turning in. The pass into the last chicane was a bit late to be honest. But all in all you drove clean. That guy was a maniac.
TBF the hit in the hairpin was your fault u couldve lifted the gas again imo if u are smart , like always count on the fault from others. 2nd the divebomb from him was his mistake bc he was with slipstream too late on the brakes so obviously he is slow in that corner and exit ;) . 3rd: the 2nd divebomb at last chicane couldve been seen from miles away so another smart move you couldve done is leave the door open and take over at the exit of chicane. and the pushing oftrack from him at start finish line couldve been avoided too from u just lift gas and steer left . and tbh u divebombed him in last chicane at 10:47 in the race too bc u lifted the brakes 1 time so u were in some cases at fault too. i am not justifying his bad driving , cause he DID drive bad and made alot mistakes, BUT you couldve driven smarter and avoided alot of that and did some mistakes too. i do agree with some here that he should get a hefty penalty for driving recless but you did some mistakes too and couldve avoided alot. anyway nice video
why did i get recommended a video in which a guy gets given the outside lane, dives to the inside (which is fine) the car moving to the right keeps moving to the right. dude from behind sticks it inside when the lane had closed. gets wrecked and reports the guy who did one move. take the outside that was given or realize the guy was moving right and back out.
Never heard of a lifetime ban from ACC. And this just resulted in a ban in LFM, and most obviously he got there already two "permanent" lifetime banns. If he's a cat, he still has some banns left...
LFM gives you the tools to remove drivers like this.. Me like many others would be using it Rory for something like that, report him and get him banned.
16:39 - It's a make no wonder this guy couldn't accelerate out of the corner; 100% throttle before the apex with 8/10 TC. Throttle was cutting so hard the car couldn't get out of its own way.
Just rewatching some old videos. I searched for this guy in LFM's Discord server. Turns out he wasn't officially banned for this, although he was likely about to get banned for it anyway. It actually shows a problem that LFM seem to have had in policing their bans. He was banned for having previously been banned for the same offence eight months earlier and setting up another account to get around the ban. He had been reported for a couple of minor incidents in September of 2022 (this race was in October) but looks like his ban hadn't been noticed by LFM.
Disgusting behaviour from a so called esport driver I understand him being slightly miffed for when you bumped him after he bogged down but you let him back through and his behaviour afterwards was disgraceful and a ban is well deserved for him !!
Never driven in ACC but see this all the time in GT 7. Some people hate to be outdone and loose their minds. What I hate most is that they are ruining my DR.
If I was you i wouldn't have tried to pass him on the right side. He was clear he was squeezing you. You had the time to break and move to the left. He was an ass, but you could have avoided it. You kept pushing. You looked at the chat while he was moving to the right. You were supposed to stay in the left
@Rory, this is like a typical race for me on gt7. I get people that divebomb me, hit me wide, ram me. People have just become like little children! Your kids are probably more mature than these people! Good job at keeping your cool!
At first and second view I thought your recovery was a bit suspect, but it really wasn't looking at it again here. The hair-pin is a simple racing incident, no blame on anyone. The rest is complete shenanigans from him, and then, the killer self-imposed idiocy of admitting he caused a crash on purpose. If that's not a lifetime ban, I'm not sure what is. Lunacy. Some folks have said you should have gone left on the straight or held back and tried again. The very fact he admits to causing a collision indicates he would have done it any means possible, then or later.
I’ve had ACC for a while, but as an iRacer, it’s hard for me to spend time on anything other than it because I want to reach my goals there, but I think I’m going to do my first online ACC race soon. I’m a bit anxious about it though with some of the videos I’ve seen lol
This happened me to for like two days ago on monza. I went from 75 to 64 SA after I.fellowes decided to use me as sidescraper/bumper car and crash me out as soon as he could. I even left him so much space last time that I had 2 wheels in the sand but yet he decided to wreck me out and didn't even say sorry in chat or nothing. Told everyone else in chat but he was quiet...destroyed my SA and my day.
The message too just tips it over the edge. One thing to react in the moment but to go out of your way to personally harass someone after the race is done, not okay. People shouldn’t have to worry about nasty messages in their inbox.
I had this twice in iRacing. Didn’t report it the second time because they didn’t investigate my first report properly. Best to move on from it quickly.
Can I play the devil's advocate for a second? For the record, I believe this guy should be banned from all kind of sim-racing. It's clear he's either a kid that hasn't learned to deal with anger or a very immature adult. But.... In the "final incident", what were you hoping to achieve there? I mean, to be fair, he did fully close the door before you even got an inch alongside. There was no car's width between him and the white pit exit line (which you're not supposed to cross, definitely not to overtake). Also, he obviously (as you proved in the replay) let the guy ahead of you through and was clearly out on war path with you. I mean, you're a smart guy (at least that's my impression :) ), so surely you knew what was about to happen there?? But then again, if it didn't happen there, it probably would have happened somewhere else. And again, I'm 100% on your side, just curious why you decided to basically "allow him" to execute you
You always have to leave a space! He was weaving all over the track and brake checking him. In my opinion that isn’t closing the door, that’s weaving. There is a reason he got banned. He pushed him off the track.
@@camiloorsini9674 The move he does in the final incident is 100% legit, what he does after Rory comes alongside (although it is debatable if Rory should go on the pit exit road to overtake) is just disgusting. I agree with you that he has to leave space, but only if the car following him is (partially) alongside. Otherwise, he has every right to glue his car to the inside. But let's just say we all agree that we're happy that this donkey got a lifetime ban from LFM, as he well deserved it :) Good riddance :D
What an absolute tool that guy was! No excuses for that behaviour. Though I have to admit I think his initial overtake was fine. There was a gap and he did the pass without any contact. Sure its late but you had committed to your line and there was gap, he also got to the apex first. Hes slow coming out the corner because he’s compromised his line for the overtake which is his right as at that point the track is his. You taking the normal line meant you had more exit speed but its always the cars behind responsibility not to make contact with the car in front. That said from that point the guy is beyond foolish, glad he got banned. Especially after you tried to do the right thing! Another great video Rory, well done for holding your dignity like a true Englishman!
Seen this many times. Its 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other after the initial you coming back on the track incident. TBF you should have let him go and then passed him under your own merit! You impeded his line!.. but with streamers like yourself your concentration is 50% on the race and the other on the audience. If you werent overly busy trying to justify the back onto the track move which in itself isnt that bad but your attention was drawn away from racing toward reading the comments on your stream. IDK if this guy actually got banned but you should be feeling 50% responsible for his banning. You have a lot to say when tbh you should be just racing. Understand that your poor concentration levels can and do spoil other drivers races. We cant always be right and in this instance i think you took it too far.
Hello there mate. Im esports caster in that region. And to be fair... I know that as of late its maybe tough to perceive some of our racers from our country (specifically) as honest and decent ones. I know that there are many many decent drivers. Top esports ones, low splitts ones and so on. Im TERRIBLY SORRY for him, for at least the last incident of start-finish straight. Thats unacceptable. Some other incidents - mhm... Some of it are kinda race incidents. Dirty maybe and sloppy, but... Happens anytime anywhere with everybody. Not so good and all of it needs much better racecraft, but still. BUT the last one is out of anything that can be 'racing'. I done some talking with him today. I hope that he understands what he have done and will never do this again. Will it be regional racing servers, local ones, or international ones (which LFM are).
It's because of people like him that make people like me to not touch this game again. Also just because Esport is in the name does not mean he is a high tear esports driver. It's the Internet so you can be anyone you want to be
I'm the kind of guy who doesn't mind just a bit of bumping or rubbing, but to deliberately take you off the track like that? That is bad form, any way you look at it. And to keep your cool like that? Very nicely done. I honestly despise competitors like that who have s**t skills, and the only way they can deal with other competitors is to pull out something dirty like that.
Maybe I'm going blind but I've watched several times now and I'm failing to see what this guy did that was so bad. Your first move up the inside at the last chicane was pretty questionable and resulted in you both going off. Next, the guy makes the same move and you both go off again. Even Stevens at that point. Down the straight, the guy goes defensive and you try to pass on the pit exit? He was on the far side of the track at the point you tried to pass so I'm not sure he was responsible for you getting binned. I might be wrong and this is the first time I've disagreed, (kinda), so don't hate me. Big fan :)
I am not excusing him one bit, but how convenient that you didnt show replay of your launch on him in last chicane. The one at 10:47. You did an A** move there on him, before he repaid you with the same. He deserves a punishment for intentional wrecking, but your driving was pretty bad too
Maybe I have a different perspective not knowing you at all, but that incident at 17:25 ish definitely looked like you over cooked it into the chicane there and had no chance of making that corner without hitting him. As far as the wall crunch goes it looks obvious from your angle he made no attempt and ran strait into the grass to take you out, but that earlier chicane incident looks like your fault to my eyes.
Well, actually you crashed into him 2 times in 2 mins, the second was at 10:45. I can understand his frustration. But ofc it doesnt mean you can crash someone on purpose to have revenge
Watched this live on your stream , was outraged then and now even more so , how dare he do that behaviour and then msg you like he's some sort of esport teacher . This player needs banning and good on you not loosing your cool , hope you reported him mate . Shame on him
It's usually like this, the dirty guy in the BMW... makes the mistake alone, because he had space... blames his friend and throws the car on top... and has the courage to report it
Oh my, where to start with that one… firstly well done for keeping your cool, lord knows I would have struggled. Secondly that is a report every day of the week. Most of the time, yeah it was a bad move/ incident where you could debate a report or not. This is malicious. This is supposed to be a platform for people who want to race in real cars but wasn’t born with a diamond encrusted dummy in their mouth. This platform is about serious attempts to bring real racing into a digital world. No respect for the platform, they don’t belong on it. Well done to you though Rory. An inspiration as always.
Sorry Rory that i have to say this, but this was your own fault in this situation. He is moving to the right side of the straight line so that you can pass on his left side. Totaly senseless move to try to move on his right side to overtake him there. Nobody can expect what you are doing there. Anyway this guy drives like shit from the begin of the race. But the mentioned situation isnt his fault. In F1 i think this would also be a rule break if he starts moving on the left line instead of keeping on the right side. You are only allowed to change your line 1 time and not 2. So you want that he brakes the rules cause you doing a dumb move? I also drive in a semi pro F1 2022 league (F1 2020 and 2021) and i am around the Top 2K Players there. Have also some houndround hours in ACC, so i know what i am talking about.
You’re kidding right? Rory is already behind on his right when he starts drifting. He’s not letting him pass, he’s trying to close the door. I do think Rory should have gone for the left at that point, but if there’s still a line on the right, he’s allowed to take that. And what in the heck do you think that driver is doing aiming for the grass on the right hand side? You think he’s trying to respect the rules???
Bro you're absolutely bullshitting, you can't swap your line on a straight more than once. He was literally driving all across the track and forced him off the straight
In American football, that's what is called targeting. It carries a substantial penalty and a temporary suspension. If a player repeatedly is flagged for targeting, they may be banned from playing at all. Seems like this driver has received the appropriate sanction.
The thing about racing for a team, as opposed to racing independently, is that you not only make yourself look like an idiot, you bring your whole team into disrepute. RGT Esports need to take a long, hard look at their driver roster and decide if they want to look like a professional team, or a loose collection of spoilt, self-entitled children.
This'll become a common thing as kids get easy access to gaming computers, consoles and such. Thinking they are pro because they were born with a mouse and keyboard or controller.
Honestly he deserves to be permanently banned from every form of sim racing. Complete idiot. Launches into every hairpin and corner missing the apex by miles and hitting you. Turning while breaking when you are going for an overtake. Pushing you off the track. And the on top of that pusing you into the barrier ruining your race totally.

Exactly, by the time he had overlap he was already in the pitlane
Never heard of a lifetime ban from ACC. And this just resulted in a ban in LFM, and most obviously he got there already two "permanent" lifetime banns. If he's a cat, he still has some banns left...
LFM gives you the tools to remove drivers like this.. Me like many others would be using it Rory for something like that, report him and get him banned.
Maybe he got mad because of the dive you did on the last chicane around 10:47... why you left that out of the replay?
shouldn't he get banned for this? totally unacceptable, clearly a very immature individual who needs some therapy...
if he's an E-sport player, and if i was his sponsor or whatever, i'd kick him off and suspend him, talk about professionalism from an E-sport name
If he really is or just an esports wannabe.
Considering how far he is down the field then I'd bet he just put "Esports" on his name
He's not racing at that point. He's just slowing down and waiting for you just so he can take you out.
I really like your attitude Rory, how the hell did that guy manage to get into the top split with such poor skills, keep up the great driving buddy👍🔥
Should be reported for that level of driving.
He knew who you were. He targeted you to get his 15 minutes of fame.
more like 15mins of shame tho^^
Disgusting behaviour from a so called esport driver I understand him being slightly miffed for when you bumped him after he bogged down but you let him back through and his behaviour afterwards was disgraceful and a ban is well deserved for him !!
Never driven in ACC but see this all the time in GT 7. Some people hate to be outdone and loose their minds. What I hate most is that they are ruining my DR.
I just checked his LFM profile and it say blocked/banned until 2023 dropped to rookie licence and no elo rating..... Wich probably means he's gone
11:10 is when you execute a perfect pit manuever like an american cop who missed his morning donut and coffee.
You did nothing wrong, report that guy. That dude is far from a “Esports” driver 😂
Just keep practicing, you will get better.
Absolutely love the LFM platform and their team is topnotch for handling issues like this
At first and second view I thought your recovery was a bit suspect, but it really wasn't looking at it again here.
Question is - did you report him to LFM and what came of the report? I don't race on LFM, but I hear they are pretty strict on that kind of behaviour.
The message too just tips it over the edge. One thing to react in the moment but to go out of your way to personally harass someone after the race is done, not okay. People shouldn’t have to worry about nasty messages in their inbox.
Report him. LFM hate revenge attacks. It’ll be a 2 week ban and the rest of us need him gone.
That was a good move you shouldn't have bumped him.
Well that message made it easy to get his name into ACC for the ban, that's for sure.
It's because of people like him that make people like me to not touch this game again. Also just because Esport is in the name does not mean he is a high tear esports driver. It's the Internet so you can be anyone you want to be
Thx 4 time-codes, you save my time
Nothing to feel guilty about, the guys a tool! 🔧
Please don't report him I don't want him on GT 7
Maybe I'm going blind but I've watched several times now and I'm failing to see what this guy did that was so bad. Your first move up the inside at the last chicane was pretty questionable and resulted in you both going off. Next, the guy makes the same move and you both go off again. Even Stevens at that point. Down the straight, the guy goes defensive and you try to pass on the pit exit? He was on the far side of the track at the point you tried to pass so I'm not sure he was responsible for you getting binned. I might be wrong and this is the first time I've disagreed, (kinda), so don't hate me. Big fan :)
The fact that he went straight into the grass says it all
I frequently rammed my friend in gt7, thought he was making noise. Didn't know it was such a big deal
I saw in the rearview mirror in Rorys car, that he had some damage in the front of his car. Not the first incidents he was in, in that race
I am not excusing him one bit, but how convenient that you didnt show replay of your launch on him in last chicane. The one at 10:47. You did an A** move there on him, before he repaid you with the same. He deserves a punishment for intentional wrecking, but your driving was pretty bad too
I really hope you reported that guy.
Chill man, it was just an inchident.
Well, actually you crashed into him 2 times in 2 mins, the second was at 10:45. I can understand his frustration. But ofc it doesnt mean you can crash someone on purpose to have revenge
4:46 he intentionally runs a guy clean off the track.
That line at the final chicane is called Prost 89 championship line
Watched this live on your stream , was outraged then and now even more so , how dare he do that behaviour and then msg you like he's some sort of esport teacher . This player needs banning and good on you not loosing your cool , hope you reported him mate . Shame on him
sorry but you're not the cleanest ride out there yourself mate 😉
Have to admit this made me laugh but fair play for your attitude Rory, reason why i sub m8
It's usually like this, the dirty guy in the BMW... makes the mistake alone, because he had space... blames his friend and throws the car on top... and has the courage to report it
I'm confused. Why did Rory follow behind him rather than pass on the left?
to get more clicks on youtube
Thanks for saving me the frustration of even bothering , sad shit.
Would love to see the replay from other perspective on 10:47, not very clear stuff...
Should be banned! full on targeted you with the aim of taking you out of the race
Seen that guy in a few races he was aggressive like that towards others also.
I feel second hand embarrassment. What a great look for his "esport team" 🤣
Well dude, you’ve got the evidence I’d report him if I were you.
He was being a total nob.
So you saying that double swaping the line on a straight is allowed? Holy crap... hope i never have to drive with you in the same lobby..
Yea, glad he got a total ban for that move. That was absolutely a broadside to toss you into the guard rail.
How do you report? It's so bad now it's hard to get a clear race without someone taking you out.
Definitely report him.
i feel like the hairpin dive was fair play. the behavior after that is insane
I hate folks like that and especially the ones that wait till the last lap to start messing u up
