The fact that they have not lost any SR is disgrace for this game. This should be snap SR/DR reset for Kimi.

That’s it in a nutshell! Should’ve been canned from the start, as it produces similar GT aficionados like me from wanting to play online. Was hoping that it would’ve been addressed a long time ago, as I have been playing GT since ‘98. Come on GT - do the right thing!!

that's part of the reason i stopped playing it!
The part that I don't understand is that your SR can be reduced, but those guys have some god-mode.
E.g couple weeks back during wet Spa daily race C I had a race where SR for almost everyone in the lobby dropped from S to A/B, myself included. Watching that replay it seemed that we were all just too optimistic about the grip in some corners which caused contacts early in the race. I do not think anyone did any intentional ramming. Still, I believe my SR drop from S -> B was justified (even tho most of the drop was probably due to the fact that I was transformed into ping pong on t1 by someone behind) and I was much more careful in the next races.
9:48 I was watching this bs in front of me and when i noticed that Rory was being hesitant to overtake Kimi after what happend, it was time... not really proud of it, but sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands... great that you finished 3rd at the end :) ...

I know it's about views, etc, but ultimately if he asks in chat post-race for the video of his bullshit and it's put up, it's like rewarding a child who behaves badly; he will love that you're showing it and keep doing it.

TBH, I really think Kimi is doing it just for the views. He know if he is in a lobby with a youtuber, he is going to get another video out of it, and he notoriety will grow. Exactly what he wants.
Totally reminds of the early days with Momoz and the inevitable questions. What is up with this driver? Why? Why ruin everyone else's race and create such a toxic environment. Simple questions, one simple answer. This driver does this expertly to gain infamy.
Momoz did it at least in a smarter way, not just the blatant punting. Plus I must say he actually changed his ways. Kimi is just a straight up tosser, nothing else. Maybe an icho de puta, too.
I think it runs deeper than that, I'd have to be in a bad place to spend my time doing something similar!

Mike btw. is a fair driver, and even Rory had fair races with him, but he always pics the one with a little contact and blames him. If he would would blame me in the audience i would crash him too.
@@dmr_arex He does these dailies every week for content and kinda has to use what he gets. Sure, he could use other races, but a content creator's job is to tell a compelling story. Not Rory's fault this guy wants to troll the lobby he's in for screen time. I completely understand why he chose this race. Kimi is just taking advantage of that.

I just played for the first time in months and online is so ridiculous. Suicide dives to corners are out of control. People ramming into each other. I hope GT7 has a mayor fix on penalties
If someone dive bombs you, that means they know they can't keep pace or they're overly eager to pass. Just let them dive bomb and pass, then stay on their ass and make them cause their own mistake

Remember when the penalty system was so "touchy" that you'd get one for bump drafting, or you'd get the penalty for being the victim? We all pissed and moaned. And now the dirtiest of drivers can maintain an S rating. Some races you are just trying to stay alive.

8 months later and the penalty system is still practically non-existent. The quality of racing has continued to drop drastically and the game has been practically unplayable this week due to emotional morons and the lack of penalties.
2 questions.
1. How did they even end up in a lobby like this?
2. How are people like this still on this game? Getting reported on every race, yet they don’t get penalised “banned”in one way or another 🤔🧐

Not sure how you stay patient with these lot, I’ve played a lot of this game at a decent standard and decided to stop playing a couple months back due to incidents and people like this. Just hoping GT7 is better at dealing with people like this, fair play to you for sticking at it!

Good to see that Gran Turismo hasn’t changed much at all when it comes to this poor sportsmanship! I haven’t played online for several years now for this very reason. It just makes me frustrated & no fun. I’ve been playing AI and been loving it. What I don’t understand, is how does Gran Turismo allow these neanderthals to continue in these events…!? Just gotta be a defensive driver in the lower ranked lobbies. But once you get past 35k dr that's where the people with racing iqs are and you can have yourself nice battles. Takes a long way to get there though
What is pretty sad here is that they're all solid A rated drivers. I struggle to get into A myself (depends on the track of the week really), I'm usually B rated and I see better driving standards in those lobbies!

I was punted off three times in Race B this last week, and finally dished a revenge bump unto one of the guys. My SR went down to A for the next race. We need real penalties in GT7.

when I indicate to get out the way on a straight, players think I'm trying break the slip and then start beefing when we get to a corner, thinking I'm gonna block them. all because they think I tried break the slip. 🤦🏾♂️ smh

U still gotta win…. Starting at the back doesn’t help you at all…. Fastest qualifying lap and best results gets your rating up
The racing number on your car during a race is your DR position in that race e.g sticker 12, 16 racers.
So long as you then place high than 12 and drive clean you should get +dr points, finish lower you get -dr points.
But always try aim to finish above 50% of the racers.
Easier said than done I know
After all that ridiculous driving he didnt even get a red sportsmanship rating, i think the real enemy here is Polyphony...
I said this in one of rorys post the other day surely his DR and SR will drop which it should as he must have had to drive ok for a long time to get him where he is ????

And this is EXACTLY why i dont drive online. I have been in 5 races and been smashed out by A***hole drivers every time ,, Now i only drive against AI.
My race craft isnt the best but i am totally considerate to the other drivers as we all should be, but alas , i still enjoy my driving every night :)
