Georgie Horjus brings the Thunderbirds’ netball trophy home

Netball star Georgie Horjus attends the Kangaroo Island junior netball presentation in Kingscote, bringing with her the Suncorp Super Netball trophy won recently by her team the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2023.
The trophy normally sits at the Netball SA headquarters and this is the first time in 10 years that the state has won the national netball title.
Georgie was also just selected to the Australian Under 21 netball team and will start training with the squad soon.
She is spending the off season doing her university course where she is studying primary school teaching.
