"Locksley, I'm gonna cut your heart out with a spoon!" "Why a spoon, why not an axe or a ..." "Because it's dull you twit, it will hurt more" RIP to the great Alan Rickman, such a madlad (he was also Hans from Die Hard)
Went straight to the comments looking how long I need to scroll to find this quote. And I wasnt disappointed xD. I flipping love Allen Rickman in general but especially as the sheriff
Alan Rickman's best performance *points at 2 peasant girls * "You my room 10.30, you 10.45............bring a friend". He wasn't interested in doing the film but they wanted him that badly that they told him you can play him however you like .... so he fucking chewed up every scene to the nth degree and yeah hes hilarious
I’ve gotten to a point where I’m genuinely demoralized with movies and tv. Like I don’t feel like my frustration or refusal to watch this stuff even matters. I feel completely powerless. They just keep making this nonsense no matter what. It’s a machine and it can’t be stopped.
@@DoubleJ-jt1ty Precisely. I retired from watching most modern shows and movies a long time ago. I enjoy my retro archive of classic TV and film mostly and enjoy myself way more.
Fun facts: In the 1883 book "The Merry Adventures Of Robin Hood", by Howard Pyle, Robin Hood is described as: "A young MAN of 18; tall with a pair of merry BLUE EYES". Furthermore, he is of English ancestry, and his birth name is, Robert O' Locksley, hardly a black personn's name.
The best version of the Robin legend for TV was the UK show "Robin Of Sherwood" which ran from 1984 to 1986. Great cast, great scripts, tons of atmosphere and a legendary score by Clannad. Highly recommended.
The theme song - Robin, Robin, the hooded man😅 will scarlet was my favorite character. One of the actors who played Robin was Sean Connery's son. Can't recall if he was the dark haired or blonde one. Great show.
How odd, just a few hours ago I was watching a clip of Alan Rickman talking about Robin Hood and how he got some people to rewrite some of his lines (including a bit where he tells some wenches he'll see them at certain times) - I've never seen it before and it just randomly popped up on my UA-cam Shorts. Now you've just mentioned it as well. Me thinks I shall watch it later tonight
2:03 That tree just got cut down, the UK news has been talking about it all week. Looks like some troll went out at night and cut the tree down, real shame.
“Much, the Miller's Son is one of the Merry Men in the tales of Robin Hood. He appears in some of the oldest ballads, A Gest of Robyn Hode and Robin Hood and the Monk”
I have not seen any of it and don’t plan to I’m tired of these things I just enjoy watching the commentary on them another great video by you and the drinker love all of you
"YO, Dookie-Shoes! Where's Snacky Cakes? He owes me 20 dollars!" I expect this is about the same amount of effort they put into coming up with these names.
"the guy who plays him, I think his name is Snape" Cmon Big T, you just did that man dirty right there. Put some respect on his name when you learn it lol.
I personally prefer the animated Disney Robin Hood, seeing what they did to this folk legend by making it woke is not surprising and it's also disgusting.
TV these days aren’t even entertaining. Marvel, DC, Star Wars, everything is dogshit I’m more interested in anime and cartoons than watching real people
Think I was 16 when Costners Robin came out…needless to say I got a kitten named Locksley, bought the replica sword and took up archery❤ this however is an abomination 🤬
I can't wait for the episode where Robin hood causes Target, Walmart, Nordstroms, Northface, Starbucks, Macy's, and Walgreens to flee town due to robbing from the rich to make the poor poorer.
Being a stereotypical Canadian I have to apologize that my country created this sewage, unfortunately probably with the help of tax dollars. I also apologize for J. Bieber, but we aren't going to take him back, America.

And Marston from "Quigly: Down Under" Just sayin'
For all those that didn't know. Critical Drinker was being very tamed and "nice" about this show...it's MUCH worst than what you think.
Disparu and heelvsbabyface
One of the best robin hood movies is the Disney animal version.
Yup! I grew up watching that.
Robin Hood: Men in tights 😂
In like Flynn
Men in Tights or Princess Bride which is essentially a Robin Hood knockoff.
The best for sure.
100% Alan Rickman killed it as the Sheriff of Nottingham. You cannot have a great movie without a great villain.
can't name a movie in where Allan Rickman wasn't at his peak. One of the greatest actors of our time. May he rest in peace.
Happy trails Hans
he made that movie, the rest was just ok.
He played many great villains.

The creator was a good movie! Supriswd me
It's because they are truly insane, doing the same things hoping for a different result

@@tjtenser7828 Bingo!
That's the whole point. Demoralization. Don't give into it. Overcome.
When Mel Brooks' "Men In Tights" is more Robin Hood than Robyn Hood.
Everyone had a good time making that film after all.
Dave Chapelle is in that
We already got a black Robin hood. He's called UNDERCOVER BROTHER.
Why do you need a black Robin Hood at all.
@@cloverite Exactly
@@cloverite We don’t. You can have him 😂.
That was a good movie!

Ic what you sayin but Here in America many many many African American men are named white names and are usually named after slave owners
Alan Rickman. All I have to say about that is, "By Grabthar's Hammer, By the Sons of Warvan, YOU SHALL BE AVENGED!"
My God, Galaxy Quest is such a brilliant movie. It is so much better than it had any right to be. That cast! And those characters. Fantastic.

“… and cancel Christmas!” Alan Rickman improvised dialogue
Look out, it's Robyn from the HOOD...
That's so raven reference I thought I was the only one who thought of it lmaooo

Robbing in da hood

I remember that show it was really good
The theme song - Robin, Robin, the hooded man😅 will scarlet was my favorite character. One of the actors who played Robin was Sean Connery's son. Can't recall if he was the dark haired or blonde one. Great show.
Growing up, we liked Maid Marion and her merry men. BBC show
I admire a director who goes to Party City for his constume needs.
I swear that one chick was channeling her inner Felicia from "Friday". You won't be able to unsee it...
It looks like it was made by the same people that were responsible for Batwoman 😂
Dude that was the EXACT vibe I was getting from this. 🤣
When the "UNLIMITED POWER!!!" clip started I immediatly checked to see if Tyrone hadn't reacted to this yet🤣
Alan rickman was a treasure

Tyrone you have to see Gary from Nerdrotics alternative opening to this show. 🤣
Still can't believe the tree from that scene got cut down
2:03 That tree just got cut down, the UK news has been talking about it all week. Looks like some troll went out at night and cut the tree down, real shame.
sigh...
Alan Rickman was epic!!! "Well at least I didn't use a spoon!"
Agreed Alan Rickman killed it as the Sheriff of Nottingham. “I’ll carve your heart out with a spoon!”
Robin Hood, a loyal subject of King Richard, striking out against the sycophantic sheriff and tax collectors loyal to Prince John.
That og Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner was a goodie!!!
“Much, the Miller's Son is one of the Merry Men in the tales of Robin Hood. He appears in some of the oldest ballads, A Gest of Robyn Hode and Robin Hood and the Monk”
That Brie Larson cameo was golden 😂. Also I had no idea this was a thing.
3:24 Tyrone wiping the tears of laughter away already 😂😂😂 another top notch drinker review 🤌🏻😂
That "ok" at 3.14 just says everything.
Drinkers A champ for that
Hood being in a very tame part of Canada makes me rofl. At least X-Files and Stargate SG1 tried to hide they were filmed in Canada.
Munch was actually a young kid in the real Robin Hood legend.
I have not seen any of it and don’t plan to I’m tired of these things I just enjoy watching the commentary on them another great video by you and the drinker love all of you
Robin Hood men in tights is the best interpretation. And it was diverse. Remember Achoo, son of sneeze, and the blind man.
It's actually one of the most hysterically funny lampoons of reality
on the TV these days......not that that was their intention, of course.
Critical Drinker is the absolute BEST!
Alan Rickman always the best villian in any movie.
Men in tights is funny as well😂
Real life if a building was like that and completely out of control. The army national guard would come in, and that would be the end of that.
But Tyrone, “Everything they do, they do it for youuuuu.”
I'm waiting for them to make a modern adaptation of Macbeth in gangland Chicago.
You gotta watch heelvsbabyface take on it. You will not be disappointed
Gotta give the drinker credit for taking those bullets, because I know that had to be excruciatingly painful 😂😂😂😂
Tbh my favorite version of robin hood was the one from Robin Hood Men in Tights, written by Mel Brooks, I like comedies
This is just Ghostbusters 2016 for Robin Hood, and what's weird is this makes Ghostbusters 2016 watchable.
The character "Much" looks like Felicia from Friday movie. "Bye Felicia"
“LOXLEY! IM GOING TO CUT YOUR HEART OUT WITH A SPOON!”
It's an homage to Much the Miller's Son, and I only know that from Archie Sonic
I personally prefer the animated Disney Robin Hood, seeing what they did to this folk legend by making it woke is not surprising and it's also disgusting.
I know too. They wanted me to do blackface in a tropic jungle war movie. I thought it would be career suicede. So i passed
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves was one of my favorite childhood movies.
I watched disparu review this. I've heard this music twice now, and every time, i wanted to shove pencils in my ears.
12:59 I caught that 🤣
The BBC Robin Hood show from the 2000s was awesome!
I agree with JLongbone, "MUCH" looks like a Cinnamon flavored Felicia from Friday 😂
Prince of Thieves lives in my heart rent free. It is in my top 5 forever ❤
When you think woke crap couldn’t get any worse…but you are absolutely right on the actors angle.
so sad the tree was cut down recently that was in robin hood
There was a show in the '90s about a girl named Robyn
Hans " Alan Rickman " Gruber !!
Side Note: He's a Cloud somewhere Earning 20% !!😇
i feel for you upcoming actors and acteress
Disparu Az and the Drinker out here watching and reviewing it so we don’t have to
To be fair, mudge, mich, or much, is indeed a name of a character found in some of the stories. He is the miller's son.
TYRONE!!! Turn your volume up sir!
TV these days aren’t even entertaining. Marvel, DC, Star Wars, everything is dogshit
I’m more interested in anime and cartoons than watching real people
R.I.P Alan Rickman
Next level sarcasm from the Drinker. Another review that is more entertaining than the actual production
I hear Patrick Stewart didn't want to so Captain Picard. But look what that role did for his career.
O bless us all.
Much is an established character in Robin Hood.
Best version of robin hood was errol flynn - and it isn't even close.
Alan Rickman…aka Hans Gruber!! Lol
Men in tights was the best Robin Hood. lol
richard todd in disneys robin hood , best version of the story
02:05 RIP Sycamore Gap :(
"Season 2 can't wait"

Robbin' Hood.
Robin hood: men in tights was just fun ...😂
And people were puzzled with Morgan Freeman...
Are you talking about "Doing the Carlton"? I thought everyone loved The Carlton.
can we just stop taking every folklore and do this with it
Much was one of Robins merry men. But he was a man.

When I think of ole mama’s condom jar I always think of Robyn hood.

If it's worse than Batgirl... Batgirl show could be used for torture...
His name Alan Rickman RIP
i just head budded my desk coz i don't wanna remember that this movie exists
I seen enough that if it wasn't for Director X freaking our, would believe its a JOKE/parody about the woke..
8:47 true I can see that
Point you made about why actors take crappie roles, out of necessity, makes sense. I stand corrected!
Robi-yan hood?
Like, "robbin ya hood." Hah. Get it?
Best Robin Hood is Men in Tights.
