For a 2nd album, they knocking it out the fucking park! There's not 1 bad song on the album and each feels unique, different and I'm honestly super impressed!
Power Snake is a bit meh to be fair. The rest are fire though.
The vocal intro to Emblas Saga is amazing

To think they weren’t even trying to sound professional on their first album shows they’re gonna have great success in the foreseeable future with their newest album and beyond. Plus they a gang of friends, that’s how all the best bands are formed :)

I found them randomly on Spotify. Now I can't stop listening to them and it was a week ago and I'm only listening to THE SAME ALBUM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. What will happen when I'll start to explore their other albums? And Ylva...she completely stole my hearth with her voice and now that I saw her in the interview and the clips...Heimdall help me...

Becuase of how good joakim growls i was a bit shocked when heard his actual voice.
This new album is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. I'e been listening to it on repeat for a solid week and I have to stop my ass to listen to it in fear I'll get used to it and not have the same feeling.
They are officially my favourite new power metal band. They’re the right blend of style and fun. Not an ounce of pretentiousness. Just an album that really makes you smile.
These two are adorable. Also, their music is awesome.

My new favourite band they got everything best female vocalist a little bit of screaming, beautiful rythms and lyrics amazing solos. Cant believe a group of friends made these high quality songs.
You know I gotta say I remember when they released their first album and I loved it. It immediately became one of my favorite albums but after sticking with them till the second album I think the have past iron Maiden and are my favorite band. I never thought it would happen but brothers of metal is just unbelievably amazing.
We love the band because the melodies are so strong. Sure, the musicianship is solid, the Viking theme is super fun, but those damn *melodies* man. Fucking fantastic.
Im a big fan of Nordic history and the Vikings and all that. So it's really cool to see a band like this. I wish you guys the best of luck! You made a fan here!

They kick ass! A great blend of metal and melody. Yggdrasil has to be their best song in my opinion!
I like that one too.
But the one with the Serpent and Prophecy of Ragnarök are very good too.
Especially the last segment.. It gets me everytime. I love listening to it at the gym too. Iiii riiiide intooooInfiniiiiityy!!!

They are just Fun, they are having fun and you can tell by looking at them, I mean watch that recording of her on stage, the woman is literally smiling. They are goofy sure, but they have an energy they transfer pretty well.
I love this so much. Just discovered this band... they get a place of honor on my playlist next to Gloryhammer, Powerwolf, and DragonForce.
Love how they bring in norse mythology into the music.
"5:47-6:11" is basically what "History Channel's Vikings" is about.
I’ve found them by accident, just looking for some new metal. Man they’re absolutely stunning. I like the way they keep their feet on the ground. And Ylva is just gorgeous. Smart, Strong, talented and the voice…I can listen to them all day without skipping a song.
brothers of metal are awesome and thats why the different genres of metal attract so many different people into the same wider metal community

I recently discovered this band, just random recommendation and it was Yggdrasil. I fell in love at first sight and I love so many songs!
I think what makes their videoclips so nice it's because it's homemade :)
I have a brazilian friend here, his surname is also Eriksson, he talks to his children when they cry "Você é Viking, porra!" haha, he has many Viking tattoos and is indeed Viking descendant.

Emblas Saga is definitely their best album so far. I hope they make more music.

Not gonna lie, the UA-cam algorithm suggested Yggdrasil to me. That was how I found them. I almost exited the video at the start because of those costumes.
They're so cheesey. The music felt cheesey too at first. I had never seen or heard anyone do viking themed power metal before. Definitely glad I stuck it out and finished the video.
This is now one of my favorite power metal bands. They have a fantastic sound and the viking mythology is a nice change of pace from the more typical swords and sorcery type of power metal themes.
So you´ve totally missed "Manowar" in other words?

I know this is 2 years later, but I was fortunate to actually see you perform in 2020 and it was amazing and hope to see you in concert again when I am in Europe in 2023. One of the things I love about your music is the story told through the songs. Keep enjoying and loving what you do so we can enjoy listening to you.
Some of those songs are already classics in my book. Ride of the Valkyries, Yggdrasil, Kaunaz Dagaz, Hel and Brothers Unite are incredible.
Weaver of Fate is one of the best ballads ever made and you can't say otherwise.

They are probably one of the best metal bands from eastern Europe, right up there with Sabaton, Alestorm, and Manowar.

Interesting that both Sabaton and Brothers of Metal have their own Joakim and are both badass bands
As I was in the audience at Sweden Rock Festival I kept pausing to see if I had managed to get caught on film for a 10th of second but no luck. :-)
Also, it is not easy to get an entire Sweden Rock Festival audience to kneel and receive a blessing, but they (mostly Mats) managed to do it!

as for your kit, hang them up to dry in a room with even cool air. like a room with an open window in winter. if you open the window and use a fan the room won't even stink. used to do it in my basement for my goalie gear (ice hockey).

Got to hang out with Ylva and Dawid (Guitar) a few weeks back. Both are laidback, funny and cool as all hell. Smart and charismatic as fuck.
