Sorry this is a vary late response: but you payed 29.99 into the eshop, then used that 29.99 into a game. If you had put in, say 50.00, you would get charged 50.00, but then payed 29.99 for the game, both sending you your own emails. If you bought a second game for 30.01, you would get an email about 30.01 spent, but no charge on the credit card. Hopefully that makes sense to you :)
Sooo I'm saving up for a Nintendo switch lite and I was planning on buying the physical cartridges of Animal crossing and Mario kart 8 deluxe but then I would have to take the cartridges out everytime I want to switch between games. Sometimes physical games are cheaper than they are in the E-shop depending on where you buy them, for example, I got the physical version of BOTW for $50 at Walmart when it was 60 in the eshop. However if you wanna stick with just buying digital games so you wont have to carry the cartridges around, then an SD card is absolutely necessary because 32gb isn't enough storage to hold big games. I decided to start buying digital but first I'm getting a 256gb micro sd card

Hi, yes, all users on that Switch will be able to play the games. Also they will all have their own game saves so each user can save their progress in each game.
I would go for physical because what if you don’t like the game, because if you get a physical game then you can easily return the game back to the store but if you don’t like a digital game then you cannot return it back to the eShop unless if you call the Nintendo Support Center which has to be done no more than 48 hours after buying digital software on Nintendo, if 48 hours have passed and still haven’t requested a refund then it will be stuck on your Nintendo account forever for as long as you have that Nintendo account that you used to buy digital software
6:11 A dad says thanks for this tutorial I used to get my boy's birthday present. My download time says an hour-and-a-half. If I plug the Switch into the base to charge and the screen goes dark, is it still downloading or do I have to leave the Switch on the table that long and hope the batteries don't run out until the download is finished?
@@GrinKriky Thanks, yep, you're right. It blacks out and the little battery icon pops up but the download's still going. As someone who hasn't played video games since the 1980's, my learning curve for figuring out my boys' Switch is sometimes a little steep.

Simplicity may be good, *but* the Eshop is just flat out awful and boring. I honestly didn't believe they could make it woree than the Wii U and 3DS. There's not even any music. I wish Nintendo cared more about the UI features of the system, because so far they are indescribably terrible.
Sayr wii u and 3DS had good eShops. But the Switch Eshop will improve like 3DS and wii u. The 3DS one was awful in 2011. When virtual console hits on Switch and more games they will make it way better

Well if you are going to buy the digital copy I'd recommend getting a micro sd card and the cartridge may be cheaper at your local shop

Dont know for sure but the switch should continue downloading even when docked as long as you dont power it off.

If you use a Xbox code for a game like just cause three is downloads the game but you can only play if you connect your Xbox controller to the switch
