Thank you so much for this quick guide. I never wanted to delete all my photos and demos. I just need to get that sd card and I can get all the stuff I want
@@astro-thegod4797 I know but I didn’t expect this. I know I got 300 something on another comment on a video but I didn’t even expect 3 likes on this comment
Bort Theattorney Nah I received a laptop, camera and money of course for Christmas. I did really ask for it since I already have a lot of gaming consoles. I might get it someday but not anytime soon
1) This video is very useful, thanks for uploading it. 2) If you get a physical copy of a game, you still have to download some sort of software onto the Switch and that takes up space as well. 3) I've got a physical copy of NBA 2K18 for the Switch that takes up a lot of space on the system and takes up to over 4 hours to download its software. I was thinking of getting a micro SD card with 128GB of storage and downloading the NBA 2K18 software on the micro SD card itself.
Thanks I needed this video a lot because there are two games coming out that I really want to play so I had only one storage left I kept panicking that I could only install one game but now I know that’s not the case thank You so much you are a lifesaver
Nintendo needs to make a newer Switch that had two stands and two microSD card slots (one under each stands), that way it makes room for more storage and makes the Switch easy to stand in tabletop mode.
Voan Siam the second kick stand would be right next to the switch's battery. Therefore, only one stand makes sense. Regardless, I have my switch in a hybrid case/cover so the screen doesn't get dirty and when I'm playing, I can place it on a table and it'll stand up
most games are 6gb... 10gb at a push. Just 1 64gb microsd is perfectly enough for most players. 128gb maximum, and 256gb is a bit overboard. However, this might change when more tripleA games release
Hi, no unfortunately it doesn't work. I tried the Steam controller on all my adapters on the Switch and I can't get it to do anything wired or wirelessly.
I found quite a good offer in my area for a 64gb card that I have in my switch right now. A 32gb card was £25, (not on offer) and a 64gb card was on offer it was £35 originally and it was on offer for £20. These were in my local Tesco.
Lincoln Waugh www.picstop.co.uk/micro-sdxc/sandisk-ultra-micro-sdxc-memory-card-100mbs-class-10-for-android-128gb.html?gclid=CjwKCAiApo3SBRA4EiwAty8i-hYzoANWA8ZL_BPykSZhebvIbnybxrRq9umj_QwcfBMbMDPOX3w-QBoC5pQQAvD_BwE
Hey, just a little PSA, if you play Zelda Breath of the Wild, DON’T use a microSD Card to store the game onto, the problem is that the system is constantly reading large chunks of data at a time, and when you start screen recordings from the last 30 seconds, suddenly, the game will freeze and the indeterminate progress indicator at the bottom-left corner of the screen appears as if it’s trying to load the next area of the game. And once the screen recording finishes saving, the freezing stops entirely. Trust me, I’m using a 128 GB microSD card that’s Nintendo Switch branded, and it’s been a huge issue. I have since switched back over to using internal storage now for Breath if the Wild. So don’t waste your time deleting the Game Data and redownloading the game on a microSD card, because it’s not worth it. It turns out the internal storage drive on the Switch is actually faster than my microSD card. Even Super Mario Odyssey loads faster with the 8-Bit Odyssey flying through the screen faster than you can say “Spaghetti and meatballs!” But putting Super Mario Odyssey on a microSD card isn’t a bad idea since it’s not constantly reading large amounts of data at once. Super Mario Odyssey doesn’t have a ridiculously large overworld like BotW does, combine that with the fact that the Switch only has very little RAM, and clearly there’s not enough to just simply dump all the game data onto memory so it doesn’t have to constantly load. Remember, BotW is 13 GBs! And 15 GBs if you’re using the DLC. I’d explain more, but I think you get the point now.
101ToonLink i got the card so yeah and i got a sd card as well one that can read data more faster and better with 4k hd and stuff like that :) but i didn't store anything in it maybe bunch of games from the shop wich doesn't need that much space
Yes I believe it was added a couple of months ago. I will look into it now that I have a newly formatted Switch. Thanks for the idea. Many thanks Vince.
5:09 Just to be clear, This won’t delete any of my games progress like for example Super Mario Odyssey, So this won’t delete any of my games progress right? (I’m not talking about the downloadable games on eShop).

@@GlitchyPixel_GR you probably have been scammed... Those were probably lower size sd cards modified to say their larger. Sure it says you can put 3 terribytes on it, but the data will eventually layer on itself and become unusable. So good luck with that
