Maybe the highlighter is for small areas and details like under eyebrows or in the corner of the eyes? It might be handy having it in your purse for touch ups 😃

I’d say you are correct. Especially since most of the
pen is focused for the eyes other than the lip liner.
This would be great for when you are traveling and don't want to , or simply can't manage to carry alot with you. Or if you were going camping and are the type who still wants a bit of make up.
Totally off subject, but Tilly (sorry if misspelled) is one of the prettiest cats I’ve ever seen! 😍 I feel like I’ve not seen a cat that particular color, and the color is gorgeous and fluffy. ❤ Also, I seriously love watching your videos! What a cool idea! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for, so it sucks that the liners themselves are bad quality.
I feel like the highlighter is best for the inner tear dock of the eyes. It'll give the highlighted effects and it'll be precisely where you place it.
I loved those pens way back when. However, I feel like this is a novelty product, not for me. Thanks for trying it!!

It's definitely better for touch-ups instead of drawing out from scratch. To reblacken a waterline, highlight inner corners, etc
Or even to turn a look from day to night by giving you the smokey option since you said and demonstrated it was so blendy. I could see it being easy to add a little drama and pop the inner corners & highlight the browbone. I kinda love

I think the highliter is to go on the inner corner of your eye, not your cheek, or under the ark of your brow

I think the eyeliner in this product might be best suited for the waterline and the highlighter for inner corner/browbone. I think this is how I would use those two.

I got this product in a boxycharm box and sadly, it wasn’t the best. I wound up using the highlighter as a brow highlight. While the concept was good, it’s a little bulky to use easily. Hi Tilly! ❤❤❤❤
I have an alleyoop face stacker with a bronzer, blush, and highlight. It's pretty good. I got mine from ipsy

I have this pen (got it in an Ipsy box, I think). I had no idea how to use it. My step dtr had to show me how to use it. I didn't realize you had to twist it up to get the color to the top. Cool pen! I've been using mine for the past year.
I use mine as an eyebrow pen! I've never even used it as an eyeliner and never thought to do that! Why? Idk
I have this pen I got it in I think either Ipsy or boxycharm I don't know anyhow with the highlighter the best place I found that it looked the best was for a brow bone highlight it works really well for that and I absolutely love the lip liner that's my favorite and then for the eyebrow pencil I only use it for the bottom line that starts like Midway through my brow and then it's like an outline and I fill it in with a little bit lighter product and then brush it through it looks really good like that I definitely enjoyed your video as I usually do thank you

The highlighter pen could be used as an eyeliner or cupids bow highlight. Very handy!
I prefer products that smudge a bit... they don't need to last 10 hrs as long as the effect is pretty.
I think when you are at a wedding or party ,you could touch up without taking a larger purse. Not meant to do a whole face.

The eyeliner wasn’t bad, just a little too thick over the lid of the eye(not enough precision for me), but the wing looked good as soon as u cleaned it up a bit 😉 I would only use the highlighter part of the pen probably just for the inner corner and MAYBE just to trace the top of Cupid’s bow(IMO). Beautiful as always tho 💄💋❤️👏🏻❤️
**Update after finishing the video: yep, yuck! No fault of yours of course. But if it’s that hard to work with and doesn’t last, what’s the point 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Hello Zabrena! Interesting video today. I remember those multi colored pens from the 80s. I loved those but I agree with you. The pen you tried today was a total flop. Anyhoo, I have a suggestion for a video concept for you : kids makeup. I saw another UA-cam influencer person try it and it worked out well for them.

You're right, that lip liner was gorgeous!! Even the brow product looked great and it was 'our' shade, too! But the eyeliner was just too thick & the highlighter should have been another lip color. I didn't know such a thing existed - just another reason I'm so happy I'm a subscriber!!

I never do I wing liner backwards like everyone do I line from half way my eye lids and I go out or from my inner corner and I go out and up to a wing it never fails I always get a nice clean wing and much easier and faster have you ever tried it that way? I love this video and I love all your videos have a nice weekend and the cat is so cute!!!

I thought you tried this exact pen a few years ago. I agree with Elenie, the highlighter may be more for the brow bone and inner eye.

I wonder if the eyeliner in this might work for people who like to do that 90s grungy, messy on purpose look where you just sort of scribble around by the lash line and smudge it with your finger.

Hmm…the highlighter can be used as a touch on the tip of the nose, under the brow, in the inner corner , on the bow of the lips and a dot or two on the chin.
Revaluation makeup did have one of thoes writh a lot of different colors in the pen 😊👍
Those pens from Bic were first available in the 70s.
Maybe the highlighter would work on the brow bone and inner corner better than the cheek bones.

In all fairness, if it is designed and marketed as a touch-up pen it's not a fair assessment to do a full face with it. It was not designed to do original eyeliner, browse, highlighter.

Years ago, Clarins came out with a four-color eyeliner click pen like this. Much better quality. Agree that this would be great with lip liners/lipsticks only.
Plus, this is $25! Too $$.

First: My comment is NOT a "rude comment directed to Zabrena" type of comment...but...maybe the eyeliner didn't work that well because her eyeline (the wing) is quite big? Not sure "big" is the correct word here, sorry about that, but i'm sure the pen could work well with people (like me), who like to line their eyes with a small line that stops at the outer corner of the eyes?
Also, i'd use the highlighter only under my eyebrows and at the inner corner of the eyes.
The color of the eyebrow product and also the color of the lipliner looked awesome!

I have two of those pens. They came in a subscription box. I like the concept. However, the actual product is mediocre at best.

I received one in boxy charm mine was garbage. It was all dried up. And this is not for me.They gave me a credit for the garbage they sent me.

That was the worst eyeliner I have ever seen you use. I do think you are right that using lipstick and lip liner in this sort of thing would work better.
