A WOW factor! I run the trails at our urban 5 mile park pretty much every day I don’t ski. I park in the adjoining zoo parking lot. The peacocks run wild. In the parking lot. They are so beautiful and how you incorporated them in your armoire is beautiful! I just picked one up for $20. And it was totally full of jewelry! It’s on my list to redo as well!
That’s a great score, Sheri! I keep seeing the prices of them going up so it’s hard for me to find one under $50- and they certainly aren’t full of jewelry!!!

I’m glad you chose a jewelry armoire for this flip. I found one in the garbage a year or so ago and it’s in really good shape but I’ve been a little afraid to try painting it. After watching you I think I’m going to drag it upstairs and give it a go. After all I haven’t got a penny invested in it. I don’t know what I’ve been waiting for! Sometimes we just get too much in our own heads.

I will do that. I’ve got to pick up some paint and I’m thinking some transfers as well. Just got to get my supplies together. Lol But I will let you know how it turns out.

Hello there….I don’t know how I missed this piece! I was surprised to see it pop up on the side when I clicked on this weeks video……so excited to see the peacock paper….and to be honest was kinda bummed when it was inside🙈 I’m sorry I’m not being mean…just feel like you missed an opportunity to do one of your amazing blends around it! My maiden name is Peacock ….so I love seeing beautiful peacock pieces…..wasn’t so fun having that last name when I was younger☺️I actually have that same paper….bought it recently off Etsy and it so pretty with the muted colors….of course you did an amazing job….they sent you a beautiful package with literally all the things….can’t wait to check out what they did with your package….def fun challenge….now off to this weeks piece! Oh Kim, I never think you’re being mean! To be honest, I totally chickened out! For whatever reason I just panicked and knew it would sell with the inside done up and worried it wouldn’t if I put it on the outside.

Nice, but I can’t help but wonder why you wouldn’t take the opportunity to do one of your beautiful blends with the Wise Owl paints, as they have extraordinary blending abilities. I understand that you’re a representative for Chalk Mountain, but if you agree to use another brand in a box swap, it would be nice if you could share the names of the colors and products you were provided. The Hanson’s were so gracious in showcasing the products you sent. I’m sure this was an innocent enough oversight on your part, but it didn’t go unnoticed, so perhaps it’s something you will think of should you do this type of swap again. I just happened upon your videos and truly enjoy watching your work. I appreciate your attention to detail and creative artistry. So talented! 🙂
Hey Kate! Thanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment. As far as mentioning the names of the products, I completely agree! I actually had a whole clip of the unboxing where I went over everything and the footage was corrupted. It was upsetting to say the least. And I of course mentioned it to Ashley before posting the video. I had to edit this one while I was out of state so there was no way for me to fix it. And as far as the blending goes, I did blend them and showed how smooth the transitions were. It was lovely paint to work with. Again, thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
I would have put a peacock on the front. Peacocks always sell very well.

So pretty..as always..I thaught that we had to use the gold leaf adhesive and the gold leaf sealer..I didn't know we could use spray adhesive.. what brand do you use?
Thank you, Tonia! And just pick your favorite spray adhesive, I haven’t noticed a difference. Here I used Elmers, but I’ve used many others without fail.
