Listening for the first time & getting goosebumps & tears welling up from reading the comments & hearing Kate’s words. I found this while listening the Sex, Death, & Money podcast interview with Martha Wainwright. She mentioned the song so I had to find it. Here I go listening to the whole performance. ☺️♥️♥️♥️

I love this song. It usually makes me cry, I love it that much, but it's a good kind of cry.
Thankful that there is this footage. Rest in Peace, Kate.
I was there, along with my beloved mum. We loved this moving, momentous performance. Simply beautiful
In any context, this would be a sublime performance. Under the actual circumstances, it is staggeringly so.
Never fail to get shivers when I hear Kate's last song.
RIP Kate McGarrigle....You were the best!...You left us with one more classic. Kate died four months after this video
Actually she died 6 WEEKS after this video, in the 18th of January, 2010.
It’s the form of the date...in American it looks like September, but it’s the British form (plus the Not So Silent Night shows are in December).
So sad she left so young.Such a unique artiste . Beautiful music which I miss.
Thank you so much for posting this. Utterly beautiful
Martha's version is great, but I LOVE Kate's original. I find myself humming it randomly ❤
Thanks for putting this up... such a special performance..
Profound and moving
Thank you for the beautiful performance, love ~ safe travels
Doing what she loves to do right up till the end.Love Kate. You left too early and passed through the Pearly Gates.
