Coming from a non technical background, it has been a challenge in grasping and understanding SQL. Though after watching your video especially learning SQL with context opposed with Syntax, it has opened a new approach for my learning.

      @alc6398 3 місяці тому +9

      It’s actually useful, more useful than a lot of SQL videos out there bec she breaks down the skills and she also mentions what skill level is sufficient for a lot of roles.
      I have seen so many aspiring data analysts that just go straight to learning SQL and try to learn them all at once but as entry level, u actually only need beginner level to create your projects that will be included in your portfolio then to be job-ready, you need to have at least intermediate SQL.
      I am a supply chain data analyst and I only use intermediate level SQL bec our data engineers and other data people are usually the ones that require the advanced level.
      If you don’t know this, then you can easily get lost with all these SQL courses and practice tests online then u end up not using these advanced SQL skills in the job anyway. You’ll end up basically just wasting your time learning all these advanced SQL like performance tuning when u don’t even use them in your job bec it’s not your job to do it anyway but someone else’s.

I'm african , which doesnt matter but as a young working adult or even a uni student it'll be very hard to gather the money for the payment of the data course. If there was a way to pay in installments it'll help significantly
    Imaging earning less than $150 and having to pay for a course when you also have a whole month ahead with no other source of income

    • @MichaelKaplan-c2o
      @MichaelKaplan-c2o 5 місяців тому

      Structured Query Language (SQL) (pronounced S-Q-L; historically "sequel")[4][5] is a domain-specific language used to manage data, especially in a relational database management system (RDBMS). It is particularly useful in handling structured data, i.e., data incorporating relations among entities and variables.
