In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use SQL using mySQL. First, you'll learn what SQL is and the different relational database management systems. Second, you'll learn to install mySQL in your computer. Third, you'll learn to import a real database for you to practice.
Then we'll get into writing queries. First we'll write simple SELECT statements, then SELECT with DISTINCT, and eventually aggregate functions such as COUNT or AVG. We'll then move on to filtering using the WHERE statement. Following that we'll learn to GROUP BY, ORDER BY, and even add a LIMIT. Finally, you'll learn to export your query scripts and results table and importing it into Excel or Power BI.

this was great! very good video! totally new to SQL, but a wiz at excel formulas pivot tables and the like so this was very familiar. i wonder if there is a listing or database of operators that we can refer to when building formulas to query off of. thanks!
I feel like I can really learn this wow you’re a great teacher!
Lets go! Best of luck :)
Really enjoyed the video.
Yes, we definitely want part 2. Also I wonder if there is a way to connect API with MYSQL, such as Amazon Sellercentral or Walmart API

I know this question is going to come up for beginners. SQL is way better than Access as it is used to handle larger datasets. Now, will learning Access prior to SQL help you, sure but it won't make learning SQL any faster. However, if you learn SQL first, your access learning will be much faster and easier. So which should you start with? Go with SQL if you are looking for career growth and you wanna play with the big boys. For small companies with smaller data sets, Access should be fine. Hope this helps anyone looking for it. And as always Great videos from Kenji.
Your are good.
Superb❤
Would be interesting to see a comparative analysis between SQL and Power Query and which one is the best
Love it
Hii Kenji, First of all great video.
Thanks for sharing!!
Had a question, all these things we can also do it with excel then what is the real use if SQL?
Will you make SQL projects for data analysis
perfect
Wow thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Im very new with sql and i have a question. Why do we use SQL while we can easily do it in Pivot Table.
Best..
Plz part 2 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Good day, can you create a playlist for SQL please ?

Is Power query similar to SQL?

Hi can't find the file in the description
I am just wondering, how hard is it to master SQL? I struggled with programming in college especially C++. Coding is something that I find it very challenging.
I’d say it’s simpler than c++ and other programming languages but a step up from Excel/excel formulas
@@KenjiExplainsThank you. I went through Excel, Power BI course and started the VBA course you offered. SQL is also something that I want to learn.
That's awesome! I'd say compared to VBA it's about the same difficuly (perhaps even a touch easier than VBA)
for some reason my files are not opening when i select download save
I can't access the database/dataset used in the tutorial
15 Mins passed by in a jiffy.
Hi,can you help me?
🙌
Cheers!
Mysql is a free software ?
Font is small! I can`t see
I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every mine, it backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Indeed, the recent market downturn serves as evidence that a vast majority of individuals lacked a sufficient understanding of the underlying financial dynamics at play.
Don't listen to him, don't give up. Mining takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.
You're absolutely right. While I don't incur losses with every trade, my primary challenge lies in allowing my winning trades to fully develop. I often find that I miss out on significant movements in the market. Instead of capitalizing on these opportunities, my trades tend to reverse after initially moving in my favor. Additionally, I acknowledge that my entry points could be significantly refined. Finding a mentor to guide me through these challenges would be immensely beneficial, although I recognize that locating a reputable mentor is easier said than done. If you happen to know any legitimate mentors, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you could provide.
I've been working with a financial advisor since I started investing. In today's market, the challenge lies in timing purchases and sales of trending stocks, which seems straightforward but can be tricky. My portfolio has grown significantly, making about $1500 bi-weekly. Essentially, what I'm saying is that the 5% of consistently profitable traders often fly under the radar; they're typically low-key individuals. I rely on my account manager to handle entry and exit orders for me.
Would you mind recommending the specific professional you utilize for their services? I'm facing numerous marketing challenges and could use some assistance.
Please Kenji I did not see the link for the file
its in the description like i mentioned
Where is upload file link
In the description like I mentioned
Why would someone use sql over excel
Coz sql can handle huge amounts of data Excel can't.
Things change with time.1996 I wanted to learn sql but nothing was in my range.no quality tutorials,no help, very limited internet connection and much more.
Now there are high quality fast connections, fast laptop but i am an old person and it doesn't stimulate any more.
Yeah, I get this is for people with no background, but honestly, click-click-click through the installation steps is a bit unnerving. I think you should have at least a rudimentary explanation of what you're doing and what's being installed and configured. If something dies during these steps or a user needs to troubleshoot something, they're pretty much hosed if they don't know what's going on. Thanks,
Second
lol

Thank you for watching!
