  • My usual answer is no. I prefer my patients to be at a STABLE weight in their work and personal lifestyles. 5-10 lb fluctuations throughout the year is normal. If you are overweight, and you want to lose weight to be healthier. Please do so! But you must be able to maintain that weight loss. Otherwise, the results of the mommy makeover can be undone to some extent. If your BMI is over 35 I recommend weight loss to a lower BMI. Higher BMI patients have increased risk of complications of infection, wound healing issues and more. Hope that helps and best wishes!

This is such a good answer. I came here sort of for the opposite question, can I lose around 20lbs after my TT? I lost 100lbs and scheduled my TT, but after a rough mourning after a death of a family member, I put on 35lbs. BUT my TT was still scheduled (in a few days) and I'm deciding to because of life and school, the timing works best for me so I'm moving forward with it. But would ultimately like to lose around 20 of those pounds I put on over a year and a half or so. Thank you for this vid!

depends on your natural structure. women who are naturally square, should not expect to have an hour glass figure. it is not their underlying structure.
