I find the rf-gain meter a poor choice from President. They should have made it a modulation-meter or swr so you dont have to look at a full meter the whole time Other than that, ofcuz it should have been a base radio, like the first Washington, but thats also my opinion. Tnx for the test.

Are you able to tell us how to get into the secret menu, as far as the fans I'm going to get them also but not going to panic, I'm sure they wouldn't release radios that are going to burn up. of course, unless you go total ham free bird on it.

It's only going to swing about 1 or 2 watts forward on avg from any rf power setting 👋👍👍
Would recommend a heavy duty 12 gauge power cord with this radio. It is pulling some amps. Looks like a sub par power cord in the box.

Peak output drops with the rf power turned down, best I can tell you for now. Knew I would not cover absolutely everything.
