I am running an rtx 4070 super with an i5-13600k.
Running games in 1440p max settings, at 180 - 200+ fps.
Meanwhile console runs native 900p-1440p and upscales to 4k, and gets a pitiful 30 fps.
This shouldn't even be a question...pc costs more in the short-term but it gives you better quality and better performance. Cheaper games, better sales, free online make it so that over the course of 7 years you actually save more money than you would if you bought a console. PC should be a no brainer for anyone really, but some ppl are jus sheep and blindly follow console for some stupid reason. I have heard all the arguments and all of them are dumb. For example "I play console so I don't have to be hunched over a desk on mouse and keyboard" I can easily counter with "You can plug a controller into your PC, or use it wirelessly if that is what you prefer....". Another example "PC's are too big, consoles are smaller" I can counter with "You never seen a Micro ATX or Mini ITX PC case before?"

Nothing can compete with gaming in the living room with a 61 inch, 4K HDR tv with a gaming mode. Surround sound setups are sooo much more practical in the living room. However, there is something to be said for the privacy of that designated computer room too. While on paper a well-endowed pc is graphically superior the reality is that most games are made within target capabilities of consoles. Mostly gone are the days of bleeding edge pc games that your console nearly died trying to run at 20fps.

    • @beaksaver5361
      @beaksaver5361 11 місяців тому +2

Games are made on consoles first because this is where most of the player base still is. So the developers and publishers will make them for the consoles 1st to get as much sales as possible, then port it to PC in a few months to a few years to make a bit more money. as for TV's Is it really necessary to need a 4k 60+ inch tv and surround sound to get the most enjoyment from your games?
A 4k TV is as cheap as £200 to £400 and thats for the 43 to 50 inch range ones. The 60+ inch TV will cost £380 to £650 for the cheap one. Now factor in speakers for surround sound, the price is from £75 to £389 for cheap options. For surround sound i wonder if the cheap options will have good sound and speaker quilaty. If not then you'll have to add maybe £200 plus for some good ones.
      A console is say
      1. £450 to £480 for the disc versions
      2. £200+, for a cheap 4K TV ( all have only 60hz refresh rate)
      3. £75 for surround sound,
      4. Cost of extra controllers and such if needed (some people have families)
      5. Subscription for using online multiplayer
      6. Game prices are a bit more on consoles than on PC
The PC is the better option overall as the total cost of everything above in this day and age can get you a pc that can match the specs of the current gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X. If you buy the parts used and in great condition you can save maybe £200 which you can keep and buy a good TV that has 120 refresh rate or more.
Im am curious as to your setup? Do you use console or PC and which one? can you recall the total cost of your TV, console or PC, your surround sound cost, any extra controllers, headsets and subscriptions?

@@beaksaver5361 Well yeah if you take the tv cost too the one I have was like $1000 so then both the price of pc and console are kind of same but the simplicity of just turning on your tv and console and turning on game mode and playing from a distant while relaxing on a couch is just not there on pc. Anyways I saw a few days ago that you can play most games on a pc with a controller so I'm looking towards that to maybe switch towards the pc cus of the customizability and being able to graphically upgrade all games and well being able to pirate almost all games lol by like making a pc setup near the tv. I love modding and stuff but like it takes atleast 4-5 years for modding to come to a console.

But once I saw this performance, it has ruined my experience on my ps5 where I now prefer games first on pc. But games are cheaper if you wait for deals on ps5 as to pc even steam sales as used console game prices or even new after 6 months or less hit $29.99. For example Callisto project is already 29.99, returnal can be had for $36.99 right now at Best Buy to pick up but steam is still $60-65. I think when people say that “pc is better” they are comparing only high e d PCs to consoles forgetting that low end $600 PCs are still PCs too and perform worse than consoles and in general most comparisons are done with similar pricing just like the pc people love to compare Ryzen and intel because of price value.

really? For me Consoles are in their worst spot ever.
      - backwards compatibility is dead
      - 4 Player Split Screen is as good as dead
      - Games are more expensive
      - less Variety of Games
      - Plug n Play is dead
      - Pay to Play Online
      - XBox lacks Games, PS lacks in Game Variety, Nintendo went full Handheld / Mobile and SEGA is dead.
      - Most Sony "Exclusives" are A) 90% Open / Semi Open World, Check List Gaming, 3rd Person Action Adventures with stealth and / or QTE and / or RPG Elements. And B) going Multiplatt anyway (Uncharted, Days Gone, The Last of Us, Spiderman, God of War, Death Stranding, RDR2, Kingdom Hearts, Horizon and now Ratchet & Clank).
      - Many beloved Games, Classics and hidden Gems that made the PS great, are dead and mostly forgotten because Sony shut down most of it's first Party Studios in a similar way like EA did.
      - due to digital Stores, digital Version Consoles and Gaming Streaming Services (Gamepass, GeForce RTX, PSNow), Physical Media will die and subsequently the used Games Market as well. Plus Offline Single Player will die and lending Games to Friends too because of that.

@@BeatmasterAC Games being more expensive? I see Diablo 4 being the same price on both PC and PS5. They have become largely equal, although I will say that Steam can have better sales at times.
      - Games like Diablo 4 keep couch co-op alive while PC does not even have it as an option.
      - Less variety? They largely have the same catalogue, save for Hentai Mommy games, strategy games and some others. The core games that drive revenue do well on all platforms (COD, Capcom games, etc). Having a PS5 allows you to get games day 1 that Pc won't see like FF XVI and other exclusives.
      - A lot of work has been done on back compat with Xbox. AutoHDR, framerate boosts and libraries back to the OG Xbox era are there. PS has some work to do, but Cell is a major issue with it as even powerful PCs struggle with emulation on the CPU side.
      - Plug and play is dead? I literally plug in my PS5 to my TV and everything auto-sets and works. On my PC, I'm having problems with HDR on COD games for no reason on PC. Irritating as fuck.
      - I do agree physical media is in danger. I do my part- almost all my purchases on PS5 are physical.

You do realize that the concept of video games was started from console in the late 1970s.Then a decade later more and more people started to make computers so their was no gaming pc 30 years ago and gaming consoles will always be the traditional way to play video games. people started to make gaming pcs because they wanted a more advanced and cool way of playing video games in the early 2000s then years later more and more people started getting munilpesed into thinking that gaming pcs are the best in 2017. Or just better to pick ps or xbox in that case? I just thought i want at least 60fps in games and consoles provide shitty graphics on performance mode(as far as i have researched....) , or maybe that's not the case and better to pick a console? You can definitely connect a pc to a tv and use a controller. The sky’s the limit with pc as far as I’ve heard. However I will say both the ps5 and series x on performance mode still usually hit at least 1080p which is full hd. Sure it’s not 1440p or 4k like pc but for the price at $500 it’s pretty good. However to get 1440p and especially 4k on pc that’s likely going to be a lot more money than the new consoles.

Because now i found a very good balance in them, i play fps games like fortnite and rocket league (and obviously minecraft) on pc and play my rpg games like god of war and spiderman, and also fifa on the ps5. Console on the other hand if you don’t cross play with PC, most gamers on there use bad wifi and a 60hz tv with high input delay so just getting and Ethernet and a decent 120hz display will give you a far bigger advantage then PC ever will.
Even if you have a $4000+ PC, your advantage will still be way smaller than running 120fps vs 60fps on console because the higher you go up in fps the less of a difference it makes.

Affordability as a bit tricky as console HW is known to be sold cheaply but they then milk you with more expensive games and subscription to play multiplayer so in long term comparably powerful PC to console which is roughly twice the console price can even out after a few years of buying more expensive games and keeping subscriptions and then becomes even cheaper.
Exclusivity - There are a few AAA titles that are only on certain console but there are far more games that are PC only, whole genres - mainly strategy games or indie dev titles.
Mods - Many PC games have extra content (longevity) or tweaks so you can play the game the way you like without parts you think are annoying.
For non-english speakers - Console version often has limited language selection. On PC you can often get extra language support via community updates or mods.
PC doesn't need to be the most expensive one on the market. You can just downgrade settings and many games still look good and are playable. You really don't need 4K resolution as that would make difference only with big TV but it won't make much difference if you lower resolution with regular sized monitor. I have 5 year old laptop that cost about 1K and it still capable of running most games. Nowadays indie devs make more interesting games and those are not that HW demanding. There is absolutely no reason to play the newest AAA title now as there are so many other games to play. I can wait a few years when I upgrade PC and then I can play them with better settings.

i might just switch over to console this year. i was playing pc exclusive for i dont know how many years. since a kid and early pc days. been there done that, was one of those weird pc nerds back in the day...pc masterrace, lets go...steam account is 16 years old now aswell. but right now with 34y old, i just got tired of all that crap tbh. i dont wanna mess around with everything, modding everything, bugfixing everything, trying to make everything work as a part time job because of bad pc ports and sht. i just value the beauty of simplicity way more nowadays. neither do i need or want 5 billion ways of customizing something for me just to do the same things in the end. i just want something to work, thats it. every hour i dont need to spend on that stuff is an hour more lifetime i have for more important things. The more and more hardware specs and numbers i have in my head, the less fun i actually have playing games... and i see that stuff down in the comments here aswell, people argueing about: that many fps and this panel is crap and thats is bad and it needs to have 0,2ms input delay less because its unplayable and ehh this and that and mimimimi... YO...
the most fun i ever had with games where back in the day at a friends house playing super nintendo games... do you remember ANY kids back the argueing about that super markio kart is unplayable because the tv had 0,021ms to much input delay or the screen size was 0,04 inches too small oder the panel could have been better or whatnot?
NO!!! we didnt care... we just played the games and had fun! O.o
i m also really tired of how much space a pc setup takes up. desks, multiple screens, desktop pc, microphones.. all that takes up sp much space of a room, if you live in a compact size home. i love hifi and speakers and just having a little box under my tv and a laptop laying around somewhere when i need to do some pc work just sounds so much better to me atm.
Its not a cost thing anymore either. because this setup of laptop + console often than not is way cheaper than owning a gaming pc. A simple work laptop you ll get for free most of the time from your work. because 80% of jobs nowadays require people to have a pc on hand, they mostly give some basic work laptops out for you to use. just use that one for pc work. and consoles and expensive? Heck, you ll get an xbox series x all access for 32 bucks a month, wich includes gamepass and is even cheaper than buying the console itself. and also since gameconsoles went digital, the key reseller market has caught up on it too. if i go to websides like keysforsteam and look for some game keys to buy online, the steam keys are not really cheaper than the xbox keys most of the time. they are about equal.

You don't need an absurdly powerful graphics card for gaming on PC, something like 4090 is for niche people that do blender renders in seconds and having similar real time computer graphics on games and 4K.

I do like how simple it is to just boot up on console and play as far as the smoothness of framerate goes, but brute forcing it on PC with an amazing setup OR tweaking something mid-range or low spec has its own rewards.. sometimes.

    1) i can agree cost of entry goes to the console. Cost of long term goes to pc. Hardware lasts longer, no subscriptions i built my pc during last gen paid 1250.00 after tax and just bought a used 3070 for 300.00 in ot 1550.00 sounds expensive right? Between last gen and current gen up to current date with bare minimum subscription tier PS users have spent 1820.00 before tax this doesnt include the middle tier or high tier subscriptions. This doesnt include extra periphials this doesnt include replacement consoles or mid gen refresh buyers. So overall cost goes to the PC.
1.1) my pc is hooked up to my tv in the living room no need for a monitor and aditional speakers or a desk. Kb/m hooked up to a nerdytec lapboard that uses 1 cable that goes to the back of the pc and everything plugs into the board its pretty cool or could use wireless periphials, or a controller as well. So able to do this with both console and pc. I'd make this pretty even maybe a point more for console but its really not anything more difficult. Next please.
    2) hardware ok console a closed market got it. Games and ports on pc have minimum specs and recommended specs and when games are being developed they release those so you already know ahead of time. And majority of new games are being developed to run on some hardware from 2017 and older between both min and recommended, some new games the min is the older and recommended could be between 2017-2020 hardware. People that have the newest graphics cards get to benefit from it. So if you havent upgraded a gpu from 2013-2015 new demanding games sure probably wont run well. If youre an esports only player you dont need the most most powerful pc and they turn settings down anyway for performance over pretty graphics. Point goes to PC because hardware lasts longer and dont have generations and hardware upgrades arent always mandatory usually replace what you have to when its time which is cheaper than a console for the most part, some are more but will last through the next generation.
    Next....
3)ease of use???? Pc and consoles both have a power cable and both have a video cable (hdmi) yes can also use a display port with pc. Both can plug into a tv just the same and power on, both can plug into a monitor. Sounds difficult. Both are even here
3.1) Drivers??? Both have drivers goofy the firmware updates on consoles is a driver and they take longer to download on a console buy a new console you have to do the firmware update and when they pop up. I havent touched all my drivers in a very long time on the pc cuz i havent NEEDED too besides when i bought that 3070 a couple months ago and replaced my old gpu thats the only driver i installed took 1-2 min to download and install. Time your consoles next firmware update to download and complete to get you back to gaming. Point to pc because all drivers are not always mandatory sometimes a new game or game update if you havent updated drivers in 2yrs. Only time i update drivers is if a new game says they need to be or noticing issues after a game update.
    4) exclusives this is a convo people do not want to have. PC has significantly more exclusives than console, all xbox fisrt party games are on pc. Sony after helldivers 2 doing better on pc sales than console sales will probably start thinking about going day to date. Plus psn is on pc so some of those exclusives if they have a ps4 port can be played on pc. Exclusives are anti consumer and bad for gaming some people doesnt matter what platform you play on just dont want a certain plastic box and ive never been an xbox guy but what they are doing by meeting people in the middle and putting their services on not just pc but other non primary gaming devices like some smart tvs, smart phones. Android boxes and whatever can reach the cloud and even putting games over on PS is amazing let people play games. Sony take notes both xbox and ps should do this day to date cmon pro flex put your logo on that load screen when booting up the game on a different plastic box. Nintendo you should do the same. Sega has done it for decades. Points to pc just has much much much more games to play and has the absolutely best backwards compatibility with older games that were released on all platforms because of no generations, can also emulate games that never made it to pc.
    5) entertainment device well my pc is hooked to my tv i know not everyone does and can do all that can also run kodi. But if you have a smart tv do you really need a console for this? In the sake of pc vs console for subscription services ok console gets the point. For all purpose entertainment from subscriptions, kodi, youtube and other sources pc smokes the console once again. Next....
    6) absolutely yes you are in control of your experience you want. Whether is a 20$ pc case or anywhere up to a 400$ case and other asthetics which can always be swapped out later if you start with basic fans and want rgb lighting fans. Or keep the fans and put an rgb strip in. Type of cooling, but most important is the hardware, you dont need to spend top dollar for every bit of it for a good experience, can buy that 100$ motherboard and a compatible cpu of your choice and whichever gpu you want for whatever experience you want. Or can buy 150$ used workstation pc slap in whatever gpu and enjoy the performance and graphical upgrade over a console and have a pretty powerful pc to do other tasks. Its called having options and freedom. I agree with you
    7) ive touched on it pc has the game preservation and "backwards compatibility" on lock. And no consoles dont really have very good backwards compatibility. The series x marketed as it but has like 60/990 og xbox games that are backwards compatible but have to download it off their sevices when putting in the disk ive seen they are relying on their services as well as sony and nintendo to play older games on the new consoles. Another point to the pc. Also the big one CHEAPER GAMES and more store fronts from steam, epic, uplay, battlenet, origin, and cd key sites that are wonderful if none of those stores are running sales. Man i love having choices
    8) touched on subscriptions in the cost earlier. Pc is cheaper long term
    9) periphals that another big one. Yea you kinda stuck on what they want you to use. 60-70 or 80 now for a basic compatible controller and up to 200+ for the pro, esport, modded controllers. On pc you have a wide variety which is good because you have again CHOICES so can buy a 20$
Kb/m combo or all the way up to the couple hundreds not all mice and keyboards are created the same, membrane, linear, the different mechanical keyboards, plastic or metal frames. Mice differnt dpi, and custom button layouts, softwares to set up for multiple different games. Having choices is amazing
    10) multi functionality having a modern gpu can have 4 displays up so want to game and record yea you can do that on one no problem but if say some reason it stops recording you might not know til its too late or streaming and want to connect with your audience. Or use the display for whatever else while in game. Or make it a wider display pretty cool in racing games too. Also if its a workstation more than a gaming rig those displays make things so much easier and faster. Multi functionality is a big one.
A lot of the basic arguments between the two were touched but as you can see from going console to pc myself all the misleading false topics that sway people away from pc is false, theres not one thing that makes modern consoles comparable to pc except cost of entry. The corporations for this gen has lied to their consumers multiple times oh 60fps will be standard yea alot of games are still capped at 30 or have frame dips due to limitations of the hardware. APUs are good for somethings even some pcs do just as good if not better in with APUs in most titles currently some probably not. Backwards compatibility on the series consoles have been laughable from what ive seen. Claim native 4k but admit its 1440p upscaled to 4k so thats not native. Pc 4k is 4k, 1440 is 1440 but your tv or monitor can upscale it.
Also console people still believe they are plug and play which they are not you still have updates, xbox doesnt have the game on the disc anymore its a physical key to play it. Sony at this time most atleast have 1.0 on the disk not all games do tho. Ive heard this plug and play argument from many youtubers and say after hooking up their console got everything setup within 2 hours including after updates and game install they were able to play. A damn prebuilt pc will take you 5 min to setup windows, 2 min to install chrome instead of using edge. Install and setup steam take you a couple min buy your game install it start it youll be gaming faster than you will with a console and hey play that game while downloading another.
Hell someone expirenced could build and install windows and even the drivers installed and in game before someone with a console would be, some motherboards have built in bios update you can do when powering on making that go even faster.

This same definition can be applied towards a pc gamer too but i feel like if your serious about gaming and want the FULL immersion, PC is hands down the best. Console is cool too but to me its just an immature option to only have a console unless your broke now and cant afford it i understand but you might as well keep the console save up and buy a pc, then use the console for exclusives or whenever you just wanna chill on the couch and load up a little NBA 2k , Forza, NHL Etc, you know the casual stuff. That explains why streamers who only played console switch to pc and still use a controller, because in the end pc is better they just prefer to use a controller.

Look at 2023 so far all thes buggy PC port unplayable: forespoken, last of us part 1, wo long, wild heart, Gotham Knights (2022) nd recently Jedi survivor...I'm a console gamer who is/was seriously looking into leaving consoles to PC but I might stay on consoles as games are just better optimized. I would say that consoles having better loading times and features like loading into different parts of the game.
They are also better for competitive play because most people have the same hardware. If you want an edge then you can easily get a monitor or pro controller and have a huge advantage for only $200 compared to how much you’ll have to pay for a pc advantage, like $2000+
Consoles like ps5 also has better integration so you don’t have to have multiple apps running like discord, steam, and a screen recording app.
There are also features like SharePlay and remote play that’s integrated and the value of price to performance is off the charts.
$400 for a PS5 that plays better than most $1000 PC is something that’s remarkable and no pc can ever get that performance at such a low price.
And all consoles are in stock now too so no inflated prices

@@KINGOFDUBSOFFICIAL Yes, as you have to pay for online multiplayer on console, accessoires for consoles are much more expensive, if your hardware goes bad you have swap out the whole thing and games are way more expensive in console. I upgraded my PC from Intel i7 4790k to AMD Ryzen 5 7600x with around 500$ and it would kill any console in performance. Don't get me wrong, i love Playstation as i own a PS1, 2x PS2, a PSP, 2x PS3 and a PS4 but PC is master race and i'd take a PC over a console any day. You also have to include the work you can do with a PC, as i also do video editing, music production and running a small business with it. Consoles are great for casual games who are not into modding or hardware and don't feel the need to play skill-based games i guess...

    • @KINGOFDUBSOFFICIAL
      @KINGOFDUBSOFFICIAL Рік тому +1

@@Vict0ry_Cs I’m not sure about that, the paying for online thing really is free when you think about all the discounts and free games you get for the subscription and with used games and sales, PS5 games are the same as PC games most of the time. I have a PC as well and as a whole my games even out.
About the hardware going bad, that normally happens more with PC than new gen consoles and if you do have to replace it, it’ll still be cheaper than replacing just one part from a PC like the gpu
As for performance, professionals have stated that the PS5 is of similar performance to a 2070 super and that’s like a $1000 build when the console is only $400 for the digital so I don’t think a $500 Pc could compete.
As far as adding the extra stuff you can do on a PC, that just makes it a completely different device overall and can’t be compared to a gaming console at that point because they serve 2 different purposes. That’s like looking for a camera and comparing a Canon camera to a smartphone and saying the smartphone is the better but because you can do more things on it.
Lastly I think most PC owners forget that the new gen consoles are way different and better than old gen and more like PCs when it comes to performance. I think most of the Cons that people bring up come from their experiences with old gen. I have a 4070 build and the difference in performance isn’t as noticeable as the upgrade from PS4 to PS5.
I also believe that skill based games and competitive play is equal if not better on console, but that’s another conversation lol
But yea I think both are good in their own way and that it’s really just subjective on which one is better for an individual.

I invested in a top tier rig this past holiday with a 7900 XTX, Ryzen 5800X3D, custom water cooling, the works… so to have new games crop up that run like absolute hog wash right out of the gate release after release bums me out. I sort of go both ways. The reason for this has more to do with my PC needs, and I suspect others are in the this same boat. In today's world of work anywhere, plug in anywhere, being tied down to a desktop is just not realistic. So, to assume your gaming PC is going to be your only PC is incorrect. Most people own some sort of laptop. It doesn't have to be a 2500 dollar Apple cult product. Chromebooks or an inexpensive Windows laptop can do the job. So, with that in mind, is the gaming PC still breaking even over the console? Hard to say. I'm a huge X-Plane fan boy. Always wanted to fly, but four kids later, kiss those funds goodbye. So, for me a gaming PC makes sense. Let's be honest, MSFS on console does suck compared to PC.
Ultimately, for PC gaming, it's going to come down to the developers. (Speaking as a retired non-gaming software developer.) A lot of their code is bloated, has memory leaks and appears to be stuck in terminal beta. If the gaming houses actually applied themselves, they could write outstanding games with amazing graphics on today's PC hardware, including on the lower end PC graphics hardware. This would put PC gaming ahead by a long shot. If your machine can run outstanding games for the next 10 years then yes, it's worth every penny you pay vs. console.

However, I end up on the ps5 with cross play off because of all the pc cheaters on multiplayer games either on rainbow six or mw2. It annoys because I would love to play these games on my pc. The Xbox console is the only one I feel was a waste of money if you have a pc because with game pass you get all the same things on the pc. The one thing you missed is that to get similar spec of a ps5 on pc you will need to spend at least $1200 and that is to run the pc at 1440p at 120fps if you lucky. Currently have the ps5 on a 42 c2 lg oled and it looks amazing.

Ive just switched to PC gaming, i play with a controller on my TV. I don’t want to sit at my desk that I sit at for work all day. I want it to be as console like experience as I can so I bought a high end mini PC which is great older games and pretty good for stuff in recent years too and a laptop for more modern games (Cyberpunk looks way better on my laptop). I was thinking the other day if I’ve made the right decision, but when I saw Cyberpunk on PS5 compared to my laptop I couldn’t go back to it. This is coming from a guy who has never been bothered about graphics, but I feel Cyberpunk needs to be experienced as higher detail as you can get it. That city is amazing.
PC gaming is a premium you’re paying that to experience games at their best looking with best frame rates (unless your me and 60fps is fine 😂). There are advantages and disadvantages to both and it’s really up to you but i can’t go back to it now ive seen how good games look on PC and older games look better and play higher than the 30fps i was limited to on console. Oh and steam has those older games where some are lost to old consoles.

A point about PC gaming you didnt touch on is that the games are often just cheaper on PC. Not only are most PC games well under the $70 US price point consoles have established, but since there are more competing stores for your games they often do sales and deals to get you to buy from them. Some stores even give you free games just to get you in the door. Since the consoles manufacturers are phasing out physical, this becomes a big talking point. Another point worth considering is PC parts get cheaper over time while consoles have lately been staying the same price for longer periods of time. I just built a $500 budget PC that is roughly equivalent to the PS5 power-wise. So for the same price as a PS5, you get all of the benefits that come with PC gaming with an equivalent system.

PC gaming often receives undue praise, and it's essential to consider a few realities. Firstly, PC gaming frequently grapples with hardware compatibility issues and subpar ports of games. Additionally, many multiplayer games on PC suffer from a persistent cheating problem. Moreover, the rising costs of PC components make them a more expensive option than the plug-and-play convenience of consoles. These are just a few examples of the drawbacks worth acknowledging.

I was a PC gamer most of my life (actually I was one of those rare Mac gamers in the 90s) and only recently moved most of my gaming to consoles. I work in webdev so I already spend 8+ hours in front of my laptop (has to be a laptop because of hybrid working) so I'm not in the mood for staying more hours in front of it for gaming. I have a laptop with a 4600H and a GTX 1650 for the stuff I play with my PC mates (WoW, LoL, Dota 2, some strategy games, etc.) or the random Game Pass gem, and play everything else on the PS5 in my couch.
Won't say PC is inferior because it's not and this might change in the next couple of generations that I plan to keep gaming, it's just that I feel that at my current lifestyle it's not for me.

This guy seems to be more buyes or favor consoles. Exclusives are not a thing where consoles win, they actually lose. Everyone has exclusives, pc, playststion, nintendo and xbox but pc has exclusives from both consoles xbox and playstation not everytime but many games that you will never see on an xbox or playstation are on pc. Like helldivers 2, returnal, Halo, spiderman remastered and mile morales, God of war, starfield, gears of war, and a lot of free to play games and rpgs and jrpg that are not available in one console or in both consoles. Pc wins thar hands down!
Lets see way cheaper games. You can buy 7 to 10 games with a 100 dollars or even more! comparing that to consoles with a 100 dollars you can buy like 5 games at best, i am not talking about little indie games that cost 5 or 10 dollars I am taking big games that normally cost between 40 to 80 dollars.
    Better graphics
More exclusives and games to choose from.
    Better price
    Better performance
    Better control
Age proof games like you will still have those games 10 or 20 years down the line no matter if the release new hardware or consoles.
Flexibility with controls, wanna use a xbox or playstation controller go ahead, want more precision or feel more comfortable with a keyboard and mouse there it is.
Wanna game at 8k, there it is.
Also there is Mods which makes your games have a lot more value in general.
The game looks outdated, graphical mods. Devs never fix something in the game, game fixing mod.
No monthly subcriptions to play games onlines.

Three things you ommited about PC Gaming: while I'm not denying anything you said in favor of it...
-Often (though not always), the PC port of a game will be by far the worst at launch. Why can my PS5/Xbox Series X, heck sometime even my PS4/Xbox One S can run games *far* better than their PC counterparts until they get massive update?
-Yes, online gaming for PC is free for the most part, but it's also the system which is by far the most plagued with cheaters.
-What you said all make sense for a single player view point, but not from a local multiplayer one. If I want to invite my friends to play games, I'll pull out my PS5, Xbox Series X or Nintendo Switch and hand them over a controller (or ask them to bring their owm) and poof, we're ready to play. It's not something you can do with PC Gaming, or at least, nowhere near as conveninently.
