Do you guys have plans to release a speedbox compatible with the PW-ST motor (on a cross core rc)? I'm assuming per your previous comments that this is not recommended with this particular model.
Hello Jay. As you probably read in the previous comments, the SpeedBox is fully compatible with the PW-ST motor, but with the latest PW-ST versions, there have been a few cases of motor overheating after driving with the tuning activated. As soon as we manage to resolve this matter, we will inform on the website and our social networks.

I’ve just picked up a 2022 Haibike Alltrail 4 for ~£3500 and was intending on derestricting it. Such a shame and hope you guys can find a way around it. I hear some mods are sending the PW ST into an unrepairable Limp mode
@@MrJoelDavies If you install the product on your bike, there is a high mathematical probability that it will work without the slightest hitch. But there remains a small risk that it will not.
@@SpeedBoxTuning I guess the question is, do I go ahead and risk it. Or hold fire until someone works out what might be going on and how to work around it/resolve it.
Regardless, thank you for such an incredible product. I’ve had previous versions of Speedbox on my previous Bosch engine bikes and it is one of the greatest things I’ve ever purchased.

Hi, Jan. Our SpeedBox is functionally compatible with the ST engine. However, we have seen instances of the motor running hotter than usual with the SpeedBox. For this reason, we prefer not to recommend tuning these ST motors.
Two weeks ago I bought a speedbox 3.0, I have a bike manufactured in 2023 (the bike model year is 2022) with a PW-ST engine. There is no year of production marking on the engine.
Speedboox works properly, I drove about 100 km, the engine does not heat up more than during normal driving with a limit of 25 km.
Does this mean that everything is fine? Do problematic engine versions overheat severely with the speedbox? I want to be sure that using the speedbox will not damage the engine.

Thanks for the positive feedback. The SpeedBox 3.0 works with PW-ST motors, but there have been a few cases where the motor has locked up. It is not said that this will happen to your engine as well.
But just to be sure, we have included PW-ST motors in the list of incompatible motors.
@@SpeedBoxTuning just bought 1 for my Haibike Trekking 6 (2021) with PW-ST motor and it makes the bike unridable. On the display you see glitches on the speed every other second, and for each glitch the elecric assistance of the motor is cutting... very disappointed. I sent a video to Speedbox customer service to illustrate the pb. your statement above is incorrect, your internet site is still saying your device is compatible w/ PW-ST until 2021 included.

Hello Tony. Thanks for your point. The video is shot with the ST motor, as our products have always been fully compatible with these motors. However, the new generation of motors can sometimes be sensitive to heating. It rarely happens, but we've decided not to guarantee 100% trouble-free.
Are there any updates for ST engines? I am using a Lapierre HT 8.6 2023 model bike. I think I'll have a problem?

Last year there were several cases of the ST motor overheating. We don't know if it was related to tuning or excessive motor load - for example, some people set maximum assistance and do not shift to a lower gear even when going uphill. As a precautionary measure, we have decided not to officially recommend our product as PW-ST compatible. However, we know that customers commonly use our chip for these motors 🙂

Hello. If you have the B.Tuning (B like Bluetooth) version, download the SpeedBox App. Turn on Bluetooth, find your chip (usually it has a name like MyEbike...) and pair it with your phone. And that's all 🙂

Hello. We originally offered this model as compatible with the PW-ST 2022 motors. However, after some time, a few issues appeared with the PW-ST 2022 motors, which have not yet been 100% avoided. That is why we have decided not to offer this model for PW-ST 2022 motors yet. If the situation changes, we will inform on our social networks 🙂

j'ai acheté le boitier 3.0 pour PWST 2022/2023 comme indiqué sur Amazon, ca a marché quelques sorties mais maintenant le moteur est à nouveau bridé comme si il n'y avait pas de boiter .pourtant quand je click sur le bouton lumière ,il est bien indiqué 99 klm/h .dois je le renvoyer et me faire rembourser par Amazon ??
Bonjour, nous sommes désolés mais la SpeedBox3.0 pour Yamaha n'est pas compatible avec les moteurs PW-ST de 2022/2023. Nous avons perdu la compatiblité en 2022, vu des changements dans le Software de ces moteurs. Veuillez accepter nos excuses pour que l'information du vendeur n'a pas été correcte.

@@SpeedBoxTuning alors il s'avère que en utilisant les flèches j'ai réussi à le remettre en route par contre j'ai eu une erreur 12 une fois et apparemment quand je l'étteins je perds le débridage il faut que je le réactive a chaque fois.c'est mieux que rien......

It depends on the type of e-bike. If this option is there, then you can switch kmh to mph even in tuning 🙂

There is just no way installation is possible. I bought one for my Giant Fathom with yamaha-motor. I tried for hours to make it fit, but there is simply no room for it. Even though this video makes it seam like there is.

The place is there, but sometimes you have to arm yourself with patience. However, it wouldn't work that way either. Yamaha motors are not compatible with Fathom ebikes 😞

Comme vous l'avez probablement lu dans les commentaires précédents, la SpeedBox est entièrement compatible avec le moteur PW-ST, mais avec les derniers moteurs PW-ST, il y a eu quelques cas de surchauffe du moteur après avoir roulé avec le réglage activé. Dès que nous parviendrons à résoudre ce problème, nous informerons sur le site et nos réseaux sociaux.

@@depida7912 Nous préparons actuellement une nouvelle vidéo. Cette vidéo a été réalisée peu de temps avant que nous décidions finalement de ne pas recommander le produit pour les moteurs PW-ST. Sur les centaines de moteurs vendus, il y a eu peu de problèmes avec les moteurs PW-ST, mais nous ne voulons pas recommander un produit qui ne fonctionne pas à 100 %.
😪 funktioniert überhaupt nicht, mein Haibike 10.0 Fullfatsix-Fat-XDURO hat einen PW-X2 Motor, aber andere Verkabelung und nur 2 Schrauben am Motor, die Installation kann man nicht verwenden, speedbox 3.0 geht trotz PW-X2 Motor nicht, nach 20 Metern fahren Motor aus blinkendes Display!!! jetzt muss ich auch noch in die Werkstatt da nach Rückbau das Fahrrad nicht mehr funktioniert, obwohl alles richtig angeschlossen wurde, warum fehlt hier im Video die Verkabelung zur äußeren Schutzabdeckung, welche als erstes abmontiert werden muss?? wieso habt das Haibike im Video, 3 Motorbefestigungen?? verstehe es nicht und finde das Video total verwirrend, ärgere mich das ich deswegen jetzt in die Werkstatt muss!!! shit...
Hallo. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie Probleme bei der Installation haben. Als Vorlage dient das in unserem Montagevideo verwendete E-Bike. Euer E-Bike ähnelt grundsätzlich unserem E-Bike im Video. Wir haben noch keine einzige Beschwerde darüber erhalten, dass die SpeedBox 3.0 nicht speziell mit dem PW-X2-Motor funktioniert. Bitte prüfen Sie, ob die Anschlüsse korrekt angeschlossen sind. Beim Einstecken muss etwas Kraft aufgewendet werden, damit die Stecker einrasten. Wenn Sie nicht wissen, was Sie tun sollen, können Sie unseren Support per Chat unter speedbox-tuning.de oder auf FB oder IG kontaktieren. Wir empfehlen, ein Foto der Verbindung des Chips zu Ihrem Motor zu machen. Danke
