I'm a total out of boxer person. I really want the full experience of enjoying my dolls. Especially if they're expensive. I don't want to pay a chunk & leave them in box. Plus, I don't buy dolls with intent to sell. But to each their own. I guess it would be easier to dust...lol. But like, you unboxed some old MH dolls & they were rotting in the box. So I think many times the dolls age better out. 🤔
I’m with you! I don’t sell my dolls either but some I like to keep in box every now and then. I’m kind of a hybrid collector but much prefer out of box most of the time!
I'm glad you said something about being respectful. I see people attacking each other online too and I really think it's a much nicer world when people are kind to each other. Life's too short to be angry and project that toxic behaviour on to others. 😀 I have this set, I really like it, I feel the same way about Wednesday, I like her much better in real . Good review! I think it’s important to remember Wednesday is basically a kid so having her facial features a bit rounder makes sense to me. Also, thanks for taking a moment to address the rabid nature of some doll collectors. It’s become pretty ugly and is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Just a weird sense of entitlement. I agree that Mattel isn’t exactly treating their loyal customers very well, and it’s appropriate to file complaints about the company, but to single out a designer is just weird.
I just bought them on eBay for $130, I tried to buy them both days on Mattel & was bummed out when I couldn’t get them. I’m happy with the resale price. A preferred seller it’s still in the Mattel box. I’m so excited, I’ve been a fan for 45 years!
Did you notice in their eyes! Wednesday has spiders and morticia has coffins!! Also I’m right there with you I love the Addams family! My husband and I were fester and Debbie for our annual Halloween party 😍

I ordered from Canada and mine still haven't shipped, they usually ship at least a week later than when the USA customers get them, but I am so excited I love them. Maybe they're simple and I don't defend Mattel's price points, who could, but I love Adams Family and this seems like a nice tribute.

I really like Morticia! Wednesday isn't awful but I hate the pigtails on her stock design, it makes her screening look a bit off.
