Thank you ..this is exactly what I have been looking for. I kept changing my anchor point and am completely frustrated. I will now keep one anchor point and simply adjust my aiming point.
Subject matter expert right here! I’ve went through so many videos and this is the most basic and thorough explanation of how to aim a slingshot! Thanks!
All right! Finally ai learn there is a way to shoot a slingshot with consistent accuracy! Too bad i learned 50 years too late! 😂😂 thanks for taking the time to make this demonstration!
Thank you for this. I watched your daisy wrist rocket video as I've been practicing with mine and love it. Everyone else keeps pushing a different aiming method but this way really makes since and can't wait to practice tomorrow.
Good job Dan. If you've been subscribed to Dan's channel for a while like I have then you know what really makes this impressive is that he can do that holding the slingshot in either hand. Which is a good indicator of why he won the SEST 2019. He's very consistent and places at the top or near the top regularly.
@@FTA4evr Haha! you're right. If a person looks at Dan in the rear view mirror at a traffic light they cans see the advertisement. Pretty smart on Dan's part.
Great simple video, now I know when I look down the band to just move it to left because most of time I am too far right. I kept trying to adjust my everstuff because I wanted to be like the guys who say they just look down the band.
Great video. I've been shooting slingshots for nearly 80 years and sighting in the same way. All of my 50 slingshots have a little sticker on them showing me where they hit, so I know where to hold . I call it Kentucky windage since they had to sight in Kentucky rifles with fixed sights the same way. Great work
Yes, good instructions and the good shooting brought it together. As well, pulling "against the tie" greatly reduces chance of band slap I have found. And from Forkshooter below, congrats on winning the SEST 2019.
That band tie reminds me of old ruffess hussy , I think he would put the band over the 2 sides of the fork and then wrap them on . Your way looks similar 👍🏻
If the forks are narrower than you are used to i find the shot goes higher,so you either have to lower your reference point or higher your anchor point,if you shoot with the forks straight up then usually your anchor point is higher than shooting gangsta,on this video instead of aiming above the target you could pick a lower point on the fork to place on the target (which does the same really)...i think that's right,i'm confusing myself now...great vid
Very good explanation tilt of the forks forward helped me thank you 👍

More impressive is the fact that he can find hats with reversed printing when he shoots right handed.

Nice simple & accurate tuition Dan.
Thanks for posting this.
Dan doesn't charge tuition.
