Slingshot Shooting Fundamentals

Slingshots are simple and easy to learn tools. However, mastering the fundamentals goes a long way towards increasing your long term enjoyment. Learn the fundamentals early on and avoid developing bad habits, and your slingshot shooting will not only be more pleasurable but more effective.

When you said "rotate the pouch almost 90degrees". I was like WHAT?? But I tried it and surprisingly hit the target! wow!

I have found that it helps a great deal to roll your eyes back and look at the position of your fingers before the release when practicing. You won't believe how much you can be biased to to the left or right or up or down. Your fingers should be positioned to release the ball straight ahead. I learned the hard way.

My release is trash. If I don't firmly pinch it always slips. But you say not to pinch. Im confused

You want to pinch the ammo, not pinch in front of the ammo on the pouch. 😉

Thanks guys. I know you are product makers, not video makers per se, but in my quest to find the perfect slingshot, it would have been cool to see a clear, full torso shot of someone using the product. I am looking for one. And it was just something that made me curious, as I looked through all of your videos....one video turned into the next....and as someone who works in marketing, yeah, it just made me curious is all. I'm sure you guys make an awesome product....it looks great. UA-cam being a visual medium, I think there is an opportunity - cool videos of people shooting them - I bet you'd even sell a heck more! Even hold a slingshot -trickshot contest, for example. ....people can make / send in their own videos. Anyway. I'll buy one.
