Enjoyed the video and that's a Beautiful rifle. I Just bought this exact Marlin last week online from De Leon, factory new, for $1239.97. UPS shipping was $32, and no tax for a grand total of $1272. Was the last one they had in stock and by far the best deal I could find. Purchased 2 boxes of Federal Premium Hammerdown 45-70 for $41.75/box which was the best deal I could find on quality factory ammo that was at least 300gr. That was purchased from Kabeles. But shipping was $16.95 for a total of $100.45. Not cheap, but at least it's not as bad as ammo for my .35 Rem Marlin 336CS. That's up to $3.50/round!
Thanks for letting me know the particulars. I ended up at $1250.00 plus the back ground, which was by far the best I could find at the time. All ammo around me is 47 to 51 a box if they have any, with a mix of 250, and 300 grain. The federal ammo has a nice look to it. I know looks are BS but they look better in the quiver than the brass. That .35 sounds crazy expensive. Thanks for watching.
At this point I find the cheapest ammo I can, not doing any competitions with this thing. For bear anything above 350 loads should be good. Have heard good things about the Hornady 350 grain RN. Thanks for watching.
I just bought my 45/70 about 2 months ago everyone told me the same thing but there is something about having the big bore rifle just to have it and your accurate about 40 rounds it’s time to put it down but that’s ok to I have a AR if I want to shoot all day enjoy it sir!!!!

It's been great. I really like the lay out and the ability to shoot long range also. It's a great range.
What brand/type ammo you like for target and what type for bear

Grizzly Gun! 😂 👌🏼🙌🏼💪🏼
You know it brother.
If you are used to 300 win mag recoil, 45-70 recoil is a baby.
For sure, thanks for the heads up.
