Nice video! One more thing that I vividly remember was that there was some sort of a more detailed car damage system in asphalt 8 ( idk if it was a mod or not) in which parts of the car flew off on bumps and non wreaking crashes

The last one, probably to please the license owner so Asphalt can keep the cars in-game. Some of the manufacturers don't want to see their cars damaged in video games.

0:44 In Indonesia, Honda also does the same thing as Audi by making a game to promote their car.
Back in 2020, Gameloft also do a collaboration with Honda Indonesia and released a game called "Brio Virtual Drift Challenge"
Basically it's just an Asphalt Nitro but instead it only have one car which is Honda Brio. They also do a competition but instead of fastest lap, the winner decided by the most drift score in a race.

there's actually a similar event like the audi rs3 collab event here in indonesia. I think it was called "Honda Brio Virtual Drift" which is basically another version of asphalt nitro but the game only features two trims of honda brio. I think you can look it up

asphalt has been my childhood favourite franchise. I played most of the asphalt games, starting from the 6th title. Crazy to see how far this franchise has come to A9

You can do backflips in asphalt 9, but its only because of the goofy physics.
