Instability is a fun special rule in Warhammer, I think it hammered home how unnatural demons are. Sometimes demons would melt and warp. Ghosts and other ethereal units could also have a form of instability, I recall. There was sometimes rules for demonic animosity, where demons of different gods wouldn't work as well when packed into the same army. Greater demons could hit pretty hard in Oldhammer, but apparently the shorter games meant greater demons had to struggle with time constraints to make themselves worth their cost. If a greater demon had to spend two rounds fighting chaff infantry, that meant half the game of a four-turn game wasted.
And one more thing................................Nuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggggggglllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Love your videos as i start getting up to speed with Revolutions after last playing Warmaster 20 years ago. Do you have any suggestions for STL makers for 10mm daemons? I'm not finding a lot.
I was so looking forward to this one. Starting warmaster revolution myself, I want to try daemons out. I am wondering though if a banner of shielding is a worthwhile spend.
Great video, like always. On another subject, I discover that the Warmaster R creative team is gonna to make rule for Cathay and Nippon, that great, but why not make a Vampire Coast army ? Since their, true, introduction by CA it would easier to implimented them, no?

At 50 pts it is very expensive for your daemon units as they only have 3 hits and a 5+ save to start. But if points are no issue then go for it!
great synopsis, as always!
Thanks for listening
