thank you so much for the wonderful tips. We are visiting in the fall this year. We are seniors but found your information quite helpful. we are hoping to eat in a tavern but understand from your post that they a't serving food any longer? Where can i find this information? thank you
They weren’t serving food when we went last year, but hopefully they have fixed that now. Probably the best place to find out is just calling colonial Williamsburg itself. Good luck!
Thank you very much for posting this video! What is the ap called that you used? And what is the website for the list of options and special things? And when are the homeschool days or where can I find information on that? Thank you so much! I am excited about taking my two elementary aged boys to experience this! 😀
Homeschool info is here: www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/visit/group-tours/homeschool/?from=navvisit The map and program guide can be downloaded here: www.colonialwilliamsburg.org/events-calendar/?date=today&from=navvisit The app is called Colonial Williamsburg Explorer. I hope you have a great experience!
Thank you so much for this video. I am trying to plan a trip there and was trying to figure out how to do it most cost effectively. I really wanted to go this spring but I think we will wait for the fall homeschool days. My guy will be in fourth grade so maybe we could get the Every Child in a Park Pass and use it to get in to Historic Jamestown for free. Am I right that you can go to the homeschool days just as a family and not a group?
@naturally adrift You can absolutely get the homeschool rate for just families and not only in groups. This is what I found on the Historic Jamestown site: Holders of the following national park passes pay a reduced fee of $15 per adult (including the pass holder and up to 3 additional guests): Annual Pass Colonial National Historical Park Annual Pass Every Kid Outdoors (4th graders) Golden Age Pass Senior Annual Pass Senior Lifetime Pass Volunteer Pass I hope you have a great experience.
You saved my life with your video and the information that there is a phone app to plan your day at Colonial Williamsburg. Thank you soooo much!!!!
That makes me so happy! I’m glad you had a good experience, I absolutely love it there. It’s like Disneyland for history buffs.
