Oh and thank you for educating peeps on how unrealistic the cheap prices are even at hundreds of dollars. Most designer clothing is expensive as it takes sooo much time to make complicated clothing properly. And paying good employees and quality fabrics is majorly costly. I wish sewing basics were still mandatory in schools. Gives people appreciation for how long sewing takes etc.
There's some designers on TikTok that take people over the process and prices, but people still complain. There's one guys dress I'd love to buy but I have absolutely no where where I would wear it to.
And this is why I don't own a lot of designer clothes. I would love to buy some of these gorgeous dresses and such, but I know to get the level of quality I couldn't afford the real stuff. I occasionally save up and get myself something nice. But videos like this remind me why I do that.
It's also good to take note that more expensive doesn't mean better or legit too. It's sad but this is why crediting and looking at credit is so important a habit.
Honestly I would have been jumping mad if I've paid so much and still receiving fakes or super low quality stuff... So glad Hope actually showed us not everything is trustable even with an appropriate price tag! Really appreciate the interesting contents she had created thus far!
What annoys me is that so many online stores charge, like, non-scam prices for cheap scam clothing. Sure, if I spend $20 for a three-piece suit or something, I shouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be made from paper towels. But if you spend $200 on a dress, you should get a decent dress! This is why I have trust issues lol
This is why you don't ever buy clothing online. (Other than like...a t-shirt.) Trying it on in-store is the only way to know you're not getting scammed.
@@SkiesTurnedGrey And the only way to be sure it fits you nicely. Same for shoes. I have no idea why people buy shoes online, I have to try a dozen of shoes before finding ones I am comfortable in. What are the odds shoes you order online are NOT going to be a torture device? Very small.

A friend of mine's mother is a legit seamstress, who often would make her own clothes. They made my friends prom dress, inspired by two couture dresses she really liked. She looked absolutely amazing, but the making of the dress took her mom over 6 months and cost more than 300€ in materials alone, not counting in the hours of painstaking work of designing, sewing, and beading/embroidering the whole thing.
I wanted a couture dress (Naem Khan) for my daughter's wedding. It had a long blue satin silk skirt, lace bodice with boat neck and a sewn in clear rhinestone belt. So I took photos to the best seamstress in ATL area and the owner of the shop made it for me. It was gorgeous and fit me to perfection. I still spent about 800-1000 having it made but it was still less than buying it from Neiman Marcus. If you have to have it, you can have it made for you.
Accurate. I come from a family of seamstresses, and have worn many couture dresses and other clothes made by my mom, aunt, and grandma. It's a lot of work. You should do a video where you buy Tiffany style lamps from cheap websites to see if its a good deal or if you get scammed. I’m moving to college in august and have this whole idea for my dorm; Open windows, vintage decor, visible wood, orange lights and to put it all together, a Tiffany style lamp. I’m already looking into the decor and everything but the only issue so far is Tiffany lamps are SO expensive, even second hand ones are! It would be SICK to find an affordable one but I can’t afford possibly getting scammed again. Anyways love your video! I just found ur second account too so I’m currently binge watching those videos haha

Makes it twice as hard not to want some of the things you put up for sale though 😂
I wish Hope would learn a bit about fabric types, construction, indicators of quality versus junk, and for the love of God, order dresses that fit her!
My gosh, does everyone who commented seriously believe those were the original, legitimate dresses?? They’re CLEARLY not. People are SO pathetically gullible and naive.
Not me watching this video a year after it was posted. When you said that you were giving away a purse at 3m, I was like girl you have over 5 million subscribers 😂❤(love your videoes)
That last one is outrageous! But, hate to say it, the pink one is NOT the original. Or at least, it's not the one in the first photograph. Compare the two photos: the original dress has thick, raised ribbing/boning on the cups. Hope's dress does not. The front of the original dress is smooth and seamless. Hope's dress has a waist seam, and an off-center side seam. Not the same dress.
It's absolutely disgusting that it's so normal for companies to do this. It's awful on so many levels. It's bad enough for workers who create super cheap fast fashion for horrible pay and conditions. But there are probably the same situation with these expensive knock offs except the workers get payed the same unlivable wage 😢 great video though, very interesting!

Living vicariously through you as you find the real dresses, it's a big gamble sometimes to shop online and I'm loving that you were able to find some legit dresses. LIVING for this content!
I live for the saying "Cheaper don't always mean best" even thought some time you can get lucky
I absolutely LOVE how hope is SO ENTERTAINING and full of energy and we should all appreciate all the work she put some puts into these video’s !
EDIT I THINK I FOUND THE JUMPSUIT DESIGNER! Mia Bella The Label has Jovani as a designer. The jumpsuits are super similar to the knockoff, and are all priced in the believable range ($700-1,900)
While I'm sad you didn't get the real jumpsuit, I'm glad for content that makes me laugh and cringe at the same time. Thank you for brightening our day Hope!!
It’s jovani - dorinda, probably
No way!!! I’m going to go check them out!! Thanks 😆
Not THE Jovani of Luann VS Dorinda Jovani? 😂

What I loved is that all the people who said that you didn’t have the correct shape for the outfits and that’s why they looked so bad can now get lost!
You looked amazing in the real versions and have a beautiful figure.
My only issue was the yellow one was bunched up around her hips, she has a really flattering figure but the fabric bunching completely destroyed it
Girrrrrrl! I fell out of my chair with LAUGHTER with that 2nd jumpsuit. Thank you for the laughs (and the info).❤
Thank you for one for the team and trying to find the actual dresses for us! I feel so bad for the last one! I would simply pass away if I bought the same thing but for over $2000 more. 😢😢😢
8:35 The package looked so sus 😂
i’m beyond obsessed with the yellow dress omg, you look like a lil ray of sunshine!!
8:04 honestly the pictures look like AI
I hope “sus sack” is here to stay because it’s fun to say, and I’m definitely using this on my parents next time a package comes with absolutely zero context 😂
10:14 GIRLLL!! did u not realise the manican in the photo was 100% like an online character they edited! plus the boat looking like a roblox boat! (coming from a sailor)
These dresses are fabulous. It's still amazes me how in our contemporary era people are still stealing others' ideas and work and nothing is being done about it.
I love when hope does videos like this when she buys the real version of the scam dresses!❤
More of this please! Love detective Hope! I also wonder how the designers feel about their dresses being viral without anyone knowing who actually made them.
That purple dress looks SO GOOD on Hope!!
Actually devastated for you, I’d be throwing hands after paying that much for the jump suit 😭😭😭
I am crying from laughing so hard at the last jump suit tryon. OMG so funny, but sad. Glad to read you got your money back!
I'm surprised by how much I love the purple dress... not many people could rock that, but Hope definitely does!
Short hair Hope is such a vibe! 😂😂
You should’ve wore that to the iris tour would be the perfect fearless dress❤❤
As a seamstress these knock offs are awful at the same time some of them are very impressive because it still takes skill to copy the techniques even if badly.
Btw I just *love* your content, you're amazing and so fun! And a bonus for me personally is that we have the exact same body shape so I can imagine myself in these when I watch you!
I LOVE how hope is SO ENTERTAINING and full of energy and we should ALL appreciate how much work she puts into these videos !
Oh my gosh! The short hair frames her face so well!
The first one is like what I imagine Belle wearing in 2023
Congratulations with 3.25mil! 🎉🎉🎉
Some of these scams can get so bad it’s pathetic.
This video is so awesome knowing she got the one she paid for!
Hope is so awesome ❤❤❤
The pictures for the jumpsuit looked photoshopped to me like the model had been photoshopped onto the boat 8:10
I thought a dress I bought for prom was going to be not what it is, but I'm happier with it. It was from poshmark
That’s so ridiculous that people will lie for money.🙄 I’m glad you found the real version of the dresses! They are all beautiful!!!🤩
11:06 this last one was physically painful…
Can we just appreciate how pretty and put together she look i mean i would expect nothing less from our Queen!!!!
The last purchase, O my gosh it's so unacceptable to be scammed out of $2500!!!!!!!
I really hope that the authorities can shut down that scam website.
3:50 = I am pretty sure that the woman in red is Katja Krasavice. She is a German artist and (former) UA-camr as well. I am not ver familiar with her but at least that's what I know.
Yes it's her
10:39 no. Get your money back.
Ain't no wayyy😂! When I saw that it was the SAME jumpsuit I gasped lmao. Man it really shows how these shopping sites really be ripping people off real bad😭. In other good news though, you looked absolutely lovely in that purple dress Hope😻🤍.
The purple dress that you wear is giving me aerial vibes
7:34 omg that may be the worst one yet 🤣 edit: oh h*ll no, get your money back. That's crazy!!
Can we just notice house stunning hope looks really pretty in all the dresses ❤
Your videos make my day! I find it amazing that the structure of those fake versions are so bad! You look amaziiiing in the real version! ❤
PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THAT GREY LONG SLEEVE!!! Where did you get it?! I love it so much, please 😭
Just saying this upfront, this is not an insult. That first dress looks like sexy, melted butter, and I'm loving it❤
1:00 i love her hair
For that last piece.....Girl you should've definitely checked the weight of the package and gladly accepted that refund!....... The universe was CLEARLY giving you a helping hand 😂😅
At 1:45 or 1:50 my first thought was, if anything it looks better than the photo to be honest love it Hope!
The lavender dress is beautiful on you! Such a bummer about the bodysuit, I can't believe the same sparkle monstrosity showed up to your house again 😭 we need an update on if you get that refund 😅 such a fun video nonetheless!
