@@CleoPinto4317 talk to your dungeon master after your first campaign and have the player characters go through some traumatic experiences to unlock the spark as an intro to the adventure and once their sparks have been unlocked and your characters are experienced adventurers you could possibly learn higher lvl spells so when the story plays out you'll have the players planewalk ie to continue the adventure after the campaign ends or just have it be an intertwined part of the story other than that planewalkers ain't really all the more powerful than other walkers and other creatures just depends on their origin story that sets them apart from each other and what their currently doing.
So, color wise, we have Naya (the Sun Empire), Simic (the River Heralds), Orzhov (the Legion of Dusk), and Grixis (the Brazen Coalition). 2 with White (the Empire and the Legion) 2 with Blue (the Heralds and the Coalition) 2 with Black (the Legion and the Coalition) 2 with Red (the Empire and the Coalition) 2 with Green (the Empire and the Heralds) Perfectly balanced, as all things should be

I’m new to your channel and gotta say thank you!!! I’ve always wanted to know the lore behind the packs and multiverses of this card game but didn’t want a huge overhaul lore.
As a Costa Rican, I get all the tropes of Aztec culture and piracy, but I still feel left out... I guess I need a side of Ixalan that's more homely of people in cities just living their lives...

For some really weird reason Ixalan always reminds me of Veelox / Ibara, a plane/territory from a book series called Pendragon. No idea why; maybe because Ixalan feels like Ibara does 🤔
Oh I loved these books as a kid!! I remember next to nothing about it, except for the first two books, and I think the seventh one, The Quillian Games? I remember loving them though
@@winterdee7028 No 'a' in Quillin, or maybe it was Quillan with no 'i', but otherwise spot on. Veelox was the VR sim, the one where Bobby lost to Saint Dane before he even showed up. If you read up to seven then I can also tell you that Ibara is the same plane as Veelox, just further in the future similar to First, Second and Third Earths. You should remember the cat people from book 5. Mark and Courtney, and the weekly or montly notebooks sent through the ring. Denduron was the first plane, a medieval world that doesn't at all prepare you for what's to come. Book 2 is the Lost City of Faar which takes place on Cloral, really setting the stage. Book three is First Earth with Gunny as the partner. Weakest book in the series IMO. This is all off the top of my head, Halla can stop me any time.
I was ticked off that the weekly short stories did not match the lore on the cards well. Jace was aligned with the Pirates, not with the Merfolk. Vraska was aligned with the Pirates, not with the Vampires. (And lore-friendly deckbuilding was tough because Vraska is Black/Green but Pirates are Blue/Black/Red.) Thanks for the great video!
I guess one of the things that MTG and other fantasy games have in common is that you can build your own stories around the lore to "fix" this. Why not having a storyline for your deck where vraska is teaming up with some merfolk to achieve a certain goal?
Its kind of lore friendly if you think about it. Vraska was betraying the pirates and getting the sun for bolas. Ultimately this is because she wanted better for the golgari swarm, and green does have an aspect of community.
