i actually just built a shark deck in Master Duel, granted it was a Chaos Shark deck so i threw in Abyss Splash, Full Armored BRL, etc. it's been running pretty well, havent bricked yet and i wanna start building it in the tcg
You should check out a card called full armor crystalzero lancer. She works gret with this deck in my opinion. If you're facing a effect heavy deck she can negate her own destruction and provide a nice layer of defense.

I rebuilt sharks after right hand shark came out and used the card lifeless leafish, which can send a card to grave, if you have white mirror and silent angler or sea nettle that's full combo into 2 toads and f0 drago future.

Abyss shark searches it for you and is an extender. To me xyz remora is way too good for thr strategy to only play one. I would play atleast 2 maybe 3.
Anyone know how Cali gets early access to these cards? I know TCGPLayer etc have the release date for these cards as June 17th but do physical card shops like my local hobby shops (that are OTS) get these a week or two early? Is that how he got them most likely?

The choke points of this deck is bahama shark and white mirror. Even if they have an amazing hand they would only end up on one interruption at most, I know because my friend plays the deck. Beware of the lock with gozen because that will do more damage than having 2-3 negates trust me!. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HAND TRAPS ON THE FISH EXTENDERS!. also, the level one fish that they'll usually normal summon to special from the deck can be negated with ash because it has the annoying cost to banish itself before resolving.

Any recommendations if you can't afford Ready Fusion? Or is the deck unplayable if you don't have it? Instant Fusion is only at 1 copy but I am curious if you can still play sharks effectively without Ready Fusion.
You can add more extenders (1 XYZ Remora, 1 Tenyi Spirit - Shthana or both) and use more XYZ water monsters like Full Armored Crystalzero Lancer. If you have 2 level 5 monters you can do Nafil Asylum Heth Knight, attach Number 101: Silent Honor ARK, summon CXYZ - Naphil Asylum Chaos Knight, activate effect and summon Number C101: Silent Honor DARK and then add Full Armored Crystalzero Lancer which will have 4.2k or more attack points, you can negate effects and also then do a Zeus with a lot of materials.

So I love this deck but man you just auto lose to any deck that can summon any monster above 3000 attack that is unaffected by card effects. Just had this happen to me when my opponent summoned that 5000 atk cyberdark fusion monster and I'm like... Well shit I can't do anything to it lol
Love the positive vibes, but how is this deck "budget" seems to be some decently high cost cards going into this deck. Sure not everything is pricey, but trying to buy this deck right now 1 for 1 and you are easily spending several hundred dollars. That ain't budget in my book, but maybe im just poor lol
It's cheaper than many other rogue options but yeah it's still pricey. Yugioh even on a budget is still not very budget. This game is expensive as hell. Some other options you could try would be the spell card memories of hope which is a lot cheaper drawing spell over triple tactics talent or even pot of desires I believe. There are also trap cards called white howling and ice bound god which are really budget friendly and very good in any water deck. Ice bound god is cheaper than chalice and negates effects permanently over just until the end of the turn. It can also be used again if you special summon abyss shark or crystal shark. And instead of ready fusion which is expensive as hell you could add another extender like a 3rd silent sea nettle or tenyi spirit. I think instant fusion is cheaper than ready too.

Atleast in a thunder dragon deck u can tribute the ready fusion target for a thunder dragon colossus. And definitely atleast 2 xyz remora. Cards way too good for the strategy to only be played at one.
Staples spike up the price of every deck that wants to be remotely viable. Really sucks that outside of structure deck reprints(that the TCG likes to gut) it can be really annoying to get some cards that want to be in a wide variety of decks.

Bahumut can summon number 71 which can summon fully armoured black ray lancer which is a fun combo

The card isn't even out yet, so the price is still inflated. It should come down to 5 bucks or so, if not less.

Staples spike up the price of every deck that wants to be remotely viable. Really sucks that outside of structure deck reprints(that the TCG likes to gut) it can be really annoying to get some cards that want to be in a wide variety of decks.
