Beautiful vlog ❤❤❤
Thank you, I'm in the USA and Canada going to do vanlife and start vlogging my adventures here :) but always missing the Himalayas
one monk is from litang(highest town/city on earth)...other is from jiarong(most beautiful village in tibet)
He was telling you that he is not a gelong, (a fully ordained Buddhist monk [the equivalent of Bhikku]), because he is an ordained Bon monk. Bon is the archaic indigenous religion of Tibet before Buddhism came. Today it is very hybridized so a Bon monk will dress almost identically to Buddhist monks of the various sects, but I am unsure if they have the term or concept 'gelong' in their own monastic structure.
Thank you so much for explaining! We really loved spending time with them, even though the language barrier made very deep conversations difficult, our time spend together was still felt very deeply. Thanks for taking the time.

Dear Brother Tim.
Could you express some about His Holiness Dalai Lama? You know that Recently some social media, some Rapers and media as well they did defame Holiness. You can tell them the reality of that's even a full video story of Buddhist and Tibetan and Himalayan cultures. Unfortunately, those social media don't know about Buddhists, Tibetan cultures, and event holiness but they only saw 5 scent clip viral videos and defame him. How sensitive and ignorant is the world? So you could get some knowledgeable Holiness. Thank you.
Long Live His Holiness Sakai lama❤️
I truly want to, but i don't always think expressing an opinion on social media is helpful, in some cases i might make a situation worse and i don't want to do that to HH dalai lama. I might visit my dear tibetan friends in their monestary, and i will truly do my best to play my part in helping people to see the reality in a non intrusive and compassionate way in that video! It is so awful what's happening to HH, such a beautiful and gentle and accomplished soul! So whenever i'm back with the tibetans i'll try to do my absolute best to help! Thank you for reaching out 🙏🏼♥️
Ok you are right 🙏
Is it in Nobu-linga, dharamsala, India?
In Tibet, we have the original Nobu-linga which is the summer palace of HH the dalai lama.
It is indeed in Dharamshala! I truly hope to visit Tibet one day!
*Norbulingka, the sinitic transliteration poorly captures how it is supposed to be pronounced.
which city are you going next
we just arrived in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, it’s nice here. another video is coming soon!
11:40 what is the price of each scroll?
i don’t think they were for sale. but if i contact yung jung, my friend from tibet, i might be able to ask him if he knows anything about the matter.
Hi where r u from
Belgium :)
what is your opinion on dharamshala?
@HighAltitudeEnjoyer Well, depends on where you are in dharamshala I think! I liked it in general, and you’re close to the mountains. The tibetan people and general vibe were really nice. But i was on a point in my journey where i needed some space and quiet, and dharamshala is not bad but also not the best place in himachal pradesh to find that! but that was more a personal matter! in general i like the food and people and nature. if you go to upper bhagsu or dharamkot which is close to mcleod ganj, you’re closer to the mountains and it’s more relaxed i think.
