Thank you for sharing! Music videos like this are one of the best things posted on youtube. This is great for people that can't participate in private music lessons. Big hearted of you to share this with the world and to take the time to put together the recordings and post them!! Thanks!!! Very inspiring.
I just mastered the c chord with 12 bar style! And now I wanna do more in that style, you teach very well and helped me a lot, now I'm just trying this out with the G and D... For more is a little more difficult but I have alredy learned the rythim, thanks to guys like you I've been learning fast... Thanks for teaching!
Pretty intersting. I am "learning" jazz since a couple of years with >10 years classics in the past. Looking for walking bass and how to exploit it in jazz. Thanks for your video. Great playing! /Stefan
how do you practice getting up to speed and syncronizing left and right hand? and 2, as you move your left hand, say from g to a, do you play notes from the g chord to the notes of the a chord? thank you.
Start with simple songs and start slow. Build up and you will eventually get used to using your two hands together. Don't try and jump into anything really difficult. Start simple. Not entirely sure what you're aksing, but if you are referring to the Left Hand riff which goes: G-A-B-Bb-C You will keep the G chord held throughout untill you hit C - the second little bit of the 12 bar blues. Ask again if this still doesn't answer your question. Hope this helps and good luck! Ben
Hi there, just wondering how long you have practiced until you can separate the left hand and right hand.. so your left hand can do the walking bass with no effect to the right hand's solo.!
I'm a guitar player, bass player and a drummer... i want to learn how to play the keys now... A. how hard will it be for me to learn piano after playing other instruments... B. what do you suggest i start with?
Dude. I've been watching for awhile, you might remember me, and you still got it. Do you have a band? Myspace or Facebook? Message me or something! ~ Zach
