Well deserved fellas, I found your channel through your smallmouth videos when I was living in southern WV. You were a big inspiration for me to get into fly fishing now I spend almost every weekend on the water with the fly rod in east TN. cant thank you guys enough for making fly fishing seem approachable, and showing off our great waters here in Appalachia.
That’s awesome! Those smallmouth videos are why I started the channel honestly. But I’m actually headed to East TN here soon, going to try to catch a brown trout or two 😂 thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
Those of us stuck at work behind a desk or worse do nothing but salivate when watching your videos. I'm proof of that. I may not be able to get away when I'd like, but I know I can always click on your channel and completely immerse myself as if I was walking the beat with you. Grateful for your time and keeping me from total boredom while stuck working for the man.
As someone who has also worked for the man his entire life I know the feeling 😂 glad I could provide some much needed relief! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the videos
Congrats man. Always been a huge fan of your channel, seeing how far you’ve come from where you started is crazy. Your videos got me into streamer fishing, been having a blast lately. Tight lines man
Congratulations Johnathon and Andrew on reaching 100K! Thanks for the highlight reel from your adventures throughout the years. I feel like I've watched almost everyone of them. There's nothing better than doing what you love and many people appreciate you guys sharing it with them, obviously. I'm looking forward to many more adventures.
Congratulations! I knew this day would come. You certainly deserve this level of support. Your videos have set a high standard not only for fishing skills, but for angler ethics and conservation as well! Keep up the great work!
Bull Trout of North Idaho. Got a taste of this action for the first time this year and highly recommend you and your brother take a trip. Well worth it considering your love of streamers and big aggressive trout! Keep up the great content!
Great job, I moved from Trout Heaven Vermont to Martinsburg, WV 10+ years ago & have done my share of trout fishing. One fish that threw me for a loop was when I caught my first "Goldie", never saw or even heard of Golden trout. Sweet fishing!!
You've created a fantastic channel, Jon! You should be very proud of all your efforts, and how well your content is received. Not only here in the US, but with viewers from several foreign countries. Big congratulations on your success! I and all your subs look forward to hundreds and thousands more days on the stream with you!
You've come incredibly far man. Probably my favorite fly fishing channel on the internet! Even inspired me to start my own channel. Great job hitting 100k!
Congratulations on reaching 100k follows. I grew up in the same part of WV as you and fishing a lot of the same water. I still come back sometimes to trout fish, but watching your videos I feel like I'm one of your fishing buddies, fishing along side you. Thank you for all your videos!!
I really enjoy your fabulous videos. To escape the stress of everyday life in the middle of beautiful nature and have a moment of peace. I really envy your waters, they are an absolute dream. When the fish bite and the fighting fun begins, what more could an angler's heart want?
Congrats man, massive accomplishment! I remember finding your channel in those early days, so cool to see it grow over the years! I’ve learned so much from your videos and feel insanely lucky for the privilege of joining you on a few of your adventures. Here’s to 200k real soon!
You've been my favorite creator ever since I found your channel and I think you deserve 500,000 subscribers! Your videos are what really got me into fly fishing, and even though it's been tough at times, I stuck with and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I always get excited when I see that you've posted a new video. I dream of catching fish like the ones that you catch. Also, I think you and your brother should go way out west and fly fish for steelhead in Oregon (my home state) or northern California. Thank you for sharing your fly fishing adventures with us.
I enjoy your videos. I like the unpretentious attitude. I'm from Ann Arbor and a avid flyfisherman. Your early urban style fishing is much like when I started. Northville Mi. hatchery park (Rouge River) was the 1st home of the German Brown trout. Soon after the Baldwin and Pere Marquette. Tight lines
Congratulations guys! You deserve it. I’m also born and raised in WV. Been to your area a few times but never fished there. The browns you guys catch are legendary! Keep it up. BTW, I also caught a giant brookie out of a native stream that looked stocked. Sometimes I wonder if they just lose the some of the patterns and bars as they get larger. I released the fish, will never know for sure.
So crazy! I grew up fishing with my twin and will always continue to go on trips with him your videos always remind me of that. I’m currently across the country due to the military but congrats on 100k man
Congrats on the 100k man ! videos are awesome! makes me question if i should start filming and posting, i fish at least 4 days a week and have a sickening love for the sport i’ve dabbled with gopro but that’s about it though
Congratulations, what streamer where you most successful with and I live in Colorado do you have any streams you recommend? And what to use for some of the bigger fish. Have you ever been to Deckers Colorado?
One of the reasons I watch your videos more than anyone else is you started spin fishing and transitioned to fly which is the same thing I’m doing. Don’t knock the roots of your love for fishing
Hey congrats, me and my brothers would like to start a yr channel where we fish on european seabass and on trout. Do you guys, since you are brothers as well have any advice?😮
Should check out the lakes on the back side of pikes peak. I live 20 min from the fishing and i think think its right up your alley. Its just outside of woodland park, co.
You caught that female fatbow with the tail all tore up and replied you weren’t sure what happened to it? Male fish will bite the tail to induce the laying of the eggs, plus the female while making the red wears the tail off; I’ve noticed it more often on the males from bigger males “biting their rivals “ off the reds to insure they fertilize the eggs… I caught a 27” male I knew HAD To be the king of the river for miles in each direction; until I landed his majesty: only to discover he was beat down to half of his tail!!! This monster Mr.BigBrown was merely “a punk in the stream “ ! Hah to catch a phrase from “Last Child”. Aerosmith. pun intended 🎣
You are not angling the tail up high enough. The cool clowns on IG hold it much higher. Or you could just hold the fish normal and just be yourself and not trying to be a clown. They don’t even do that anymore, now they put the tail in their mouths. You won’t be cool till you do that.
Congratulations on 100k subscribers!!!!!🎉🔥👍👏 I love the videos, I will just throw the newest or even an old video on and just watch and try to Pick up new tips and info along the way! I personally love fly fishing for native brookies so this is very helpful to learn new things!👍 you/ anyone who sees this can check out my channel and sub to see me catch native brookies in the future

Thank you and that’s awesome!! Glad you’ve enjoyed the videos and that I could provide some inspiration
Once I started watching your videos, i never fished for stocked fish again, forever grateful for yall putting me onto bluelining
Stocked fish are cool but they aren’t anything like a wild fish! 😂 glad you’re enjoying blue lining now!

What a beautiful Brookie!
One of the reasons I watch your videos more than anyone else is you started spin fishing and transitioned to fly which is the same thing I’m doing. Don’t knock the roots of your love for fishing

watched hardamn since nearly day 1 and started my fly fishing journey last year🙌. learned a lot from watching him.
That’s awesome!! Glad you’ve enjoyed all of the videos.
I was wondering if you could create a Fly-fishing gear video, it would mean a lot to me to have some recommendations and ideas since I'm a beginner.
I live in florida but my roots are brookies, browns and of course big smallmouth.
Do you prefer to use streamers over dry flies or dry flies or streamers?
Depends on what I’m fishing for, but I’m usually partial to streamers 😂
i think if u add more survival to this Chanel it will grow much faster
Probably true, not saying I’ll never do that, but it’s not something I love doing like I do fishing
What is the biggest Brown trout you ever caught?
You caught that female fatbow with the tail all tore up and replied you weren’t sure what happened to it? Male fish will bite the tail to induce the laying of the eggs, plus the female while making the red wears the tail off; I’ve noticed it more often on the males from bigger males “biting their rivals “ off the reds to insure they fertilize the eggs… I caught a 27” male I knew HAD To be the king of the river for miles in each direction; until I landed his majesty: only to discover he was beat down to half of his tail!!! My biggest brook trout was caught staging at the mouth of Little Imigration in a snow storm and was 24” and weighed 6.93lbs.👀 let’s go boyz: lookout 😅
Hey pal the let's go is kinda not as cool anymore so maybe shelve that idk
You are not angling the tail up high enough. The cool clowns on IG hold it much higher.
