WTF. I'm struggling to even see a point to this video. They have different driver frequencies and are different sizes so of course will differ in sound and volume. The only phone with stereo speakers that should sound equal is the Razer , because they're both the same size and configuration . An audio engineer should at least have an idea what they're talking about FFS.
As an audio engineer, STEREO speakers should be equal in both sound and volume. It makes little sense to have uneven speakers. Would you have one computer speaker give all the bass but not a lot of high end and then another have no high end and only the high frequencies? I have studio monitors and that would be a terrible thing to have. That's the perspective I'm coming from. Even the Pixel 2 and 2 XL are TRYING to have equal speakers.
I know what you're getting at , but unless you have the space to put the exact same configuration top and bottom/left and right you will always get disparity. In a pair of normal , i.e non phone speakers , each speaker is usually comprised of at least 2 or more individual speakers driven at different frequencies that produce the range needed. So if you listened to the left or right channel on its own you still get the range needed but depending on which minor speaker you put your ear to , it will sound different. That is the point i'm trying to get across .

So I think I am reducing the efficiency of the sound of the phone by blocking it with the cover that I use. Can you please advise on this?
Are you planning on doing these kinda of test on the LG G7 thin Q? I would be interested in seeing how a single powerful speaker compares in clarity and sound.
This is normal in smartphones. Both of my phones (current and old) has stereo speakers and the top and bottom speakers are different in terms of volume and clarity. Top speaker has more loudness and the bottom has more bass and clarity. Agreed about the placement, though. I'm right-handed and that would be annoying.
Yeah, I know that they designed it that way, and it's still a great speaker, but I find that design to be really weird. That's just not how you typically design stereo speakers. If it was a mono speaker with that setup, it would make sense because that's how a normal speaker is set up. One tweeter and a woofer, highs and lows. But that is what makes up one speaker. Taking the tweeter and the woofer and then splitting the left and right channel between the two is so bizarre to me.
That's the excuse that is always used but that makes sense for a speaker that is a few feet away from you which blends the two sources. It makes little sense for something that is only a couple of feet away from you.
Good day sir, please my samsung galaxy s9plus screen keeps flickering except I increase the brightness before it look lil bit better.please what can I do to
I work in a dirty environment. Heavy dust, grinding dust from grinding metal. So my problem is that my speakers seem to have lost their good sound, and seem to be not nearly as loud. If I submerge my phone in water, will this help clean it? I don't want to have to buy another phone. Any suggestions?
Absolute bullshit! I upgraded from a Nexus 6P to a S9+ and have no problem with the speakers.. They sound amazing. Also Dolby Atmos makes a big difference, so im curious if that was on while testing?
Could some 1 help me my s9 bottom speaker it making wierd sounds so I could be watching a video every thing sounds great then out of no where a massive crackling noise comes out of the bottom speaker and this happens randomly between 5 and 15min
+This Is Tech Today Usually any *first batch* phones or devices will have issues whether it be the screen, speakers, camera or software. I often wait a couple of months *before shelling out $800-$900* until the manufacturers fix their issues. Case in point: *first batch* of *Pixel 2XL screen issues* as well as the *Essential PH-1* Samsung may have to do some tweaking on their S9/S9+. Essential continues to push out software updates to their device to fix the dual-cameras (which now take better photos & videos) and *even dropped the price* to a reasonable price range of $450-$499.
1. Top speaker as tweeter, bottom base, exactly as what u said, is the idea. 2. HTC invented that. Huawei copied it, now S9 too. 3. I understand the idea and buy it, but still bothered by it too. And I also often cover the bottom speaker.
Is the s9 + supposed to vibrate when the speaker is used? I feel a slight vibration when i use the phone...somewhere bellow the Samsung logo at the back..
This is not really an issue but this is because of the fact that the driver for the bottom speaker is significantly larger than the top speaker, which is a mere earpiece. The top portion produces vocals and highs whereas the bottom one accounts for lower frequency sound, producing crystal clear yet punchy sound as a whole. This is exactly the same for iPhone X as well and is even more pronounced on phones like Mate 10 Pro and HTC U11 which has an even smaller earpiece driver. I personally don't mind it though, I'm happy with watching videos or listening to music on my regular Mate 10.
I have a question dear channel owner. I have the opportunity to buy a nikon D810 for around 800 dollars. It’s one month old with a valid guarantee. Or should i buy a new Sony RX100 iv or v ? What would you recommend?
Hey! Sorry I missed your comment. What do you intend on using your camera for and what is your budget? If you have a Twitter, follow me there and send me a tweet!
This Is Tech Today No problem :) sure you get a trillion messages. I went with the Sony RX100 iv for a 600 Dollars deal. The Nikon D810 was a scammer trying to bring me to send 800 Dollars to nigeria. Lol but all sounded to ridiculous. Thanx for your answer and great channel 👍🏻
Hey how are you, I am with some problems with the sound of the s9 plus, But the problem is only with the sound calls and the notifications, are lower than my s8 plus, if you compare in the settings in notifications sounds, the same ringtone, s9 plus is lower, in my pocket i can ear better my s8 plus. Can you please test that. Its because its the 2 s9 plus i have, and its the same.
Difference might have something to make the sound fuller, the difference in sound together makes it sound better. Giving clarity while still having strong lows.
I wonder if the difference is because the bottom speaker is more for bass tones and the top speaker is for more treble notes thus it will sound fuller when hearing music or watching a video? It's a trick to the ear.
have you maybe concidered that samsung did that on purpouse? You know, because one speaker fires upwards to your ears and another one fires downwards where your hand is and they have tried to compensate this by using stronger signal?
It's a PHONE speaker!! Do something better with your time bruh. They sound quite good for what they are. Also HTC and iPhone has the same type of speaker arrangement of one acting more like a tweeter and the other as bass. You don't need to be a sound engineer to hear the difference for Christ sake! One more time, it's a PHONE.
I make these for others, so it's not for you. Other people are bothered by it so I make it for them. It doesn't bother me. However, it is important that I'm approaching this AS a sound engineer. If you say the speakers are tuned by AKG, you have a higher standard. Any sound engineer will say that stereo speakers should be equal in volume and in EQ. They should be the same. You wouldn't wear earbuds that have treble in one ear and bass in another. The razor phone did it right which is why everyone raves about how good those speakers are. Now that you have context for how I approached it, does that make sense? Still great speakers for a phone. Also, it's not good to use the Lord's name in vain.
This Is Tech Today Keep doing what your doing. This video fit in perfectly with what I assumed was happening when I bought my S9 last week. We are out there looking for this type of content. I watched it twice. Cheers
I'm deaf in one ear in the higher frequencies associated with human speech so I love that louder deeper bottom speaker on the S9+. It's why I bought the phone, so I hear people speaking. The phone is intended to be held with the cupped palm of your hand behind and below the bottom speaker so the sound bounces off your hand ✋ Try it. The second reason I bought it is that I need it for the Honda Element sound system. The main message here though is thst people who have hearing impairment NEED loud phone speakers. Which phones have the loudest speakers?!
Bottom line is what ever sound you play on the S9 phones you'll never hear it the way you're supposed to because the top speaker was designed to handle high frequencies, and the bottom mids and lows. Imagine watching a movie or listening to music where specific sounds should be heard through either the left or right channel that sound will be different on these phones because in order to have true stereo both speakers have to be full ranged (all frequencies). It will be very noticeable when listening to anything with surround sound. What makes it even worse is one speaker is facing away from your ears. That's why when you compare the speakers to other phones it might SOUND clearer and crisper because the high frequency speaker is the one facing you. I'm not saying the phones don't sound good, all i'm saying is all the bragging Samsung puts out there about AKG tuned and spending an entire year PERFECTING the audio etc. is all advertising gimmicks to make the consumer feel they're going to be treated to a premium audio experience. Example, phones like the Axon 7 has amazing audio with dual front facing full range speakers and Dolby Atmos and that phone was released in May 2016!
Kevin Shade sameee i get a crackling sound from time to time on any app ... randomly it can be youtube spotify, it can be a game... randomly happens, it was happening a lot before but for some reason it happens rarrely now, but still don't know how to fix it :(
I've had my Samsung S9 Plus for a few years now and the top speaker sucks compared to the bottom speaker The bottom speaker is definitely more powerful than the top and for the last year my phone has had a blown speaker on top.
jordan rausch I will say dolby atmos definitely makes a difference. Play a song from let's say spotify then go into soundlive and keep turning dolby atmos on and off, you can hear how much better it sounds with dolby atmos
Ria Driguez awesome. I'm getting the s9 plus for the 2 stereo speakers. And I'm sure itll sound better with the Dolby atmos. I tried it at a store recently and tested all time low. And was amazed at the beginning of the song. I could hear it coming out of both speakers. Do you know if it sounds better listing to music with them on? Compared to the single speaker on the s8 plus? I only played with the song for a little bit at the store.
jordan rausch yeah it sounds better with dolby atmos on, i tested the sound against my note 8 and it's so much better. Note 8 sounds dull and even when dolby atmos is off on the S9, it still sounds better than the note 8. They are definitely good
This was a really well made video, you have a great honest, natural style, and you present info super clearly! But listening to podcasts at 2.5x speed is the most cursed thing i have ever seen. Cheers!
Hello I have a question And that's normal for mobile phone speakers that at a certain volume they start to rustle with different tones in a song? For me, this is the case with the earpiece, but in order not to run off immediately and want to get a replacement device to get exactly the same result, I'll ask here ua-cam.com/video/fefQBQ4lm88/v-deo.html P.s. Sorry for my English
As an owner of a Pixel 2 XL, I can say that I think my Nexus 6p had a better pair of front facing speakers but I'd be curious to see if anyone can test one.
This Is Tech Today that's weird... But what really annoys me is that I get that crackling sound like the top speaker grill vibrates too much or something . If I gently put pressure on the top speaker it stops. Thanks for this info too. Keep on the good work!
Oh, yeah. I'm really disappointed about that. I made a video about it trying to figure out what may have caused it. Some have pushed in the top grill so hard that it pops and then stops. I'm afraid that it is breaking something though, so I'm not one to do it. Either way, here's my video on the test I made showing the buzz: ua-cam.com/video/Hh7q8Ij6t5k/v-deo.html
Extremely cheesy haha... I put up with it for a few months but then my charger popped and started smoking. That was the final straw! Replacement phone and charger seems to be ok. Oh and no, mine hadn't been near water. Definitely a manufacturering fault.
Cheers dude. It tripped the electricity so all good. The phone wasn't even connected, so be careful if you leave it plugged in all the time. Another good video BTW. 👍🏻
I have a studio monitor that has a woofer and a tweeter on it. If that is what you are saying it is doing then my point is even more valid because that is how ONE speaker is set up. One speakers is mono, two is stereo. When you have a stereo speaker setup, you have equal EQ and volume. This is why it is WEIRD but weird is not the same as BAD.
that's bvecause of the file. youi can make a video louder, but samsung keeps the decibel levels on the ringtones on the low side. you can use an app to make the ringtones louder
Yeah, I mixed Dustin Kensrue from Thrice for a bit. I work with people who work with major artists and they all say that this is not how you set up speakers. SAMSUNG owns AKG now and made them a lame consumer brand audio company so they compromise what is correct for what is a gimmick. If you're going to diss someone, actually know who and what you're talking to.
Awesome video bro Now a days people are only considering the camera Audio should considered as compared as camera Samsung should focus on sound signature & algorithm like lg, the primary sound signature is changed after Android 6.0 Which a kind of weird thing I expect from Samsung
That's a weird setup. No one does that. Here, watch this since I made it to show the scientific and objective reality and made it easy to understand. ua-cam.com/video/-hy7pZhLZKQ/v-deo.html
Are u an apple fan boy because I watched some of your vids and u always complain about google pixle 2 and samsung devices. And it does that because it has surround sound
Does my criticism offend you? Or do you realize I'm advocating for all of us so we have something better? Look at my profile image and channel banner. I'm a google fanboy. I don't even have an iPhone. Also, surround sound doesn't work that way. It's also stereo, and it's weird, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Listen to what I actually say in the video.
I'd love to see someone make a video of the effects of hippity flop or rap bass tones on these tiny ass speakers on smartphones. It cant be healthy for the tiny tweeters trying to bounce those frequencies. Lmao
I get a lot of rattle at high volumes on my p2xl. My wife has an s9+ and while I can't speak to it as well as my own phone, and the speaker layout is odd, I think it sounds better than my phone.
Lol I maybe 5 months to late but I enjoy the sound of the s9. Having a secondary on any smartphone is must. But I do like the way the speakers are placed here, why do ask? Because it gives you a more stereo experience. Or as Samsung claims it has a Dolby digital experience.
Oh, it's intentional for sure. It's just a bit unorthodox in a typical speaker setup. Many have pointed out that the earpiece acts like a tweeter and the bottom like the woofer of a speaker. That's all great and all, but that's the setup for ONE speaker, which is mono. Splitting the two different frequencies into stereo is really bizarre. That doesn't mean the speakers don't sound good overall or better than most. It's just weird, not bad.
Rich, yes, but bassy? It's just not possible because of how small it is in comparison to the bottom. The physics don't allow it to put out more bass or even equal bass.
S9plus speakers are no good especially when it comes to receiving calls I can hardly hear my caller always put the phone on speakers 👎 I hate to do this all the time .
I thought you've blacked same thing but for my bottom speaker because part of my bottom speaker is hanging out of the little whole thing waited 6 and I don't know why
Lol DUDE...you test them over their capabilities ...at highest details ...nobody even turn on the max sound...cuz everybody knows its get distortions..in my opinion you are wasting time
There are TONs of people who use it at Max. Honestly, they are great speakers and don't distort. I don't know where you got that. What is true is that the arrangement for STEREO speakers is weird, but werid does not equal bad. I think you missed the point of the video. I'm not trashing on them.
S9 has a lot better sounding speakers than Pixel XL 2, also they are way louder, very handy when you are on a long call and using the speakers. Pixel 2 has very disappointing speakers even they are front facing. They are no issues with the screen of S9, you just had a bad unit.
Hey! Thanks for watching. The speakers are better thsn the pixel 2 XL as this video shows as well as another video I made. My screen is not defective at all. I totally get where you're coming from. You're probably thinking "who the heck is this guy? I love my display and haven't noticed any issues at all! He must have a defective unit and is just wrong!" First, I'm not anyone. Second, it IS TRUE that the Galaxy S9+ has a fantastic screen. It's so great in so many areas that hearing that something is wrong would logically make you think that I have a defective unit. However, that isn't the case. Most people just haven't done the test or know what to look for before they react. There are quite a number of people in the comments who called "BS" on me and then once they did the test found out they had it as well. SAMSUNG confirmed the issue and there are over 325,000 results for "Galaxy S9 Black Crush" or "Black Smear" on Google with articles and forum posts from Android Central, Android Authority, Tech Times, XDA-Developers, Toms Guide, the Samsung Community Forums, Sammobile, BGR, etc. I make videos like this to advocate for communities who spend their hard earned money and are upset that the quality isn't as good as it should be. To be honest, the issues don't bother me at all. I love using the phone, but I know it bothers others so making a high-quality video with objective tests and results is a way to advocate for them. ALL THAT TO SAY: Try actually doing the test! Look at the image at this link at 30-40% brightness and scroll as you normally would on any web page. You can see it with your eyes in a normally lit room: twitter.com/thisistechtoday/status/990953075308249088 What is interesting about this is that I went to the Best Buy Store and looked at multiple OLED panels. The Note 8, Galaxy S8/S8+, Pixel 2 are all a year old and have had their displays on all day for a year, yet they don't have the black smear. The Galaxy S9+ does. You would think the old display units that are on all the time would have more defects than the new display units for the S9/S9+, right? Let me know how the test goes! Once you know what to look for, that jelly look, it'll all make sense. There is no hate. Just love.

How do I fix my incall volume??when ppl calls me they cnt hear me it's so low?
Hey, my friend.
I came here to try to find a solution about my calling speaking issue , and I didn't see anything explained on video.
So,here we are . It's 2023 and I'm still using my S9+. I have lg g40 thin q, and the speakers are weird as hell
They said razer phone's the best speaker do you recommend it over Samsung s9+?
The same reason why we have a woofer and a tweeter to produce full range sound efficiently.. 😃
That's the excuse that is always used but that makes sense for a speaker that is a few feet away from you which blends the two sources. It makes little sense for something that is only a couple of feet away from you.
Hows the balance of the 2 iPhone 8 speakers vs the 2 iPhone X speakers?
I have a problem in my s9 plus speakers it's not working properly what should I do
What is the name of the app you used to test the speakers ??
Good day sir, please my samsung galaxy s9plus screen keeps flickering except I increase the brightness before it look lil bit better.please what can I do to
I work in a dirty environment. Heavy dust, grinding dust from grinding metal.
So my problem is that my speakers seem to have lost their good sound, and seem to be not nearly as loud.
If I submerge my phone in water, will this help clean it?
I don't want to have to buy another phone. Any suggestions?
It is waterproof so that can help. Just don't scrub it or not hard or it may break that.
Absolute bullshit! I upgraded from a Nexus 6P to a S9+ and have no problem with the speakers.. They sound amazing. Also Dolby Atmos makes a big difference, so im curious if that was on while testing?
I can't believe how fuller these sound.sometimes it's hard to believe that these are phone speakers
why are people even using sound on there phone use headphones better sound or better get a portable speaker if you not a headphone type of guy
There's a secret link hidden. Where and what could it be? 0_0
Totally :)
Could some 1 help me my s9 bottom speaker it making wierd sounds so I could be watching a video every thing sounds great then out of no where a massive crackling noise comes out of the bottom speaker and this happens randomly between 5 and 15min
Are the speakers identical construction? I assume they are different due to case constraints?
Definitely different. It's a bit odd.
just curious, what camera did you use for this video specifically, i want an unreacheable goal lol
Haha. A Panasonic GH5s. I have my gear list in my description to see everything I use 👍😊
yeah i wasnt sure about the Canon one lulz
thanks
+This Is Tech Today
Usually any *first batch* phones or devices will have issues whether it be the screen, speakers, camera or software. I often wait a couple of months *before shelling out $800-$900* until the manufacturers fix their issues.
Case in point: *first batch* of *Pixel 2XL screen issues* as well as the *Essential PH-1*
Samsung may have to do some tweaking on their S9/S9+.
Ture
Same
@@ThisIsTechToday thanks
Is the s9 + supposed to vibrate when the speaker is used?
I feel a slight vibration when i use the phone...somewhere bellow the Samsung logo at the back..
Common with most phones now. Just resonate vibrations.
Is that good?
I just realized that i had messed with the equalizer settings ,that would be the reason of the vibrations...
Well, here we are, 2024 and still using mine from 2018, and looking for speaker cleanup instructioks after second battery replacement 🤞🏼
Every time I put something in front of my camera the top speaker turn off. What do I do?
I've never heard of that. How bizzare!
Whoa! Dodged a bullet there! Glad you got the right one!
Hey how are you,
I am with some problems with the sound of the s9 plus,
But the problem is only with the sound calls and the notifications, are lower than my s8 plus, if you compare in the settings in notifications sounds, the same ringtone, s9 plus is lower, in my pocket i can ear better my s8 plus.
Can you please test that.
Its because its the 2 s9 plus i have, and its the same.
Dang. I will have to check this out. Thanks for the heads up
This Is Tech Today
Thanks, i think this could be a problem with all phones.
You know, because one speaker fires upwards to your ears and another one fires downwards where your hand is and they have tried to compensate this by using stronger signal?
at 4:34 what s name of that song track?
Are these speakers better than the htc u11 plus?
This Is Tech Today You're such a nice guy.
Thanks! Have a great day!
htc m7…………
Bingo
I have sound crackling when playing certain games, but I don't notice it when watching videos/ playing music. Any solution to this?
Kevin Shade sameee i get a crackling sound from time to time on any app ... randomly it can be youtube spotify, it can be a game... randomly happens, it was happening a lot before but for some reason it happens rarrely now, but still don't know how to fix it :(
Very meticulous review! Hey what is the song that you used for the sound test? Would love to know more.
Thank you! You can check out the artist here: bit.ly/2pjGErQ
Thanks! :-)
btw what does a sound engineer do
I've had my Samsung S9 Plus for a few years now and the top speaker sucks compared to the bottom speaker The bottom speaker is definitely more powerful than the top and for the last year my phone has had a blown speaker on top.
okay so what should i do about it?
So are the speakers better then the single speaker on the s8 plus?
This Is Tech Today I really wanna get it for Dolby atmos. Worth it? And stereo speakers.
I think the Dolby Atmos is a marketing gimmick. Don't get it just for that. The speakers are better but not because of Atmos.
jordan rausch I will say dolby atmos definitely makes a difference.
Cheers!
lol, thanks. Fun fact, since I made this video I've been able to work my way up to 3x speed 😅
My note 9 too, is this speaker defect?
Any solution??
Amazing quality, you have a new subscriber!
Doesnt the s9 have a stereo on the bottom while the s9+ has same stereo speaker and top has a tweeter sounding speaker
Hello
I have a question
And that's normal for mobile phone speakers that at a certain volume they start to rustle with different tones in a song? For me, this is the case with the earpiece, but in order not to run off immediately and want to get a replacement device to get exactly the same result, I'll ask here
ua-cam.com/video/fefQBQ4lm88/v-deo.html
P.s. Sorry for my English
As an owner of a Pixel 2 XL, I can say that I think my Nexus 6p had a better pair of front facing speakers but I'd be curious to see if anyone can test one.
Here you go 😊 ua-cam.com/video/VYCZgjJLPYo/v-deo.html
feel the same. my pixel 2 xl top speaker does seem to rattle or something and I don't like that the top speaker is also lower
The difference of which one is louder or quieter tends to vary spending on the device. It is a bit odd.
I'm constantly putting my finger over the bottom speaker and lose volume until I realize what I've done totally
my top speaker sounds distorted on the S9
Didn't notice the sound issue on the Pixel 2 XL units I saw the video. Drove me mad afterwards haha. Google exchanged it.
Sorry to be a BUZZ kill. Okay, that was cheesy 😂
Extremely cheesy haha... I put up with it for a few months but then my charger popped and started smoking. That was the final straw! Replacement phone and charger seems to be ok. Oh and no, mine hadn't been near water. Definitely a manufacturering fault.
Whoa! The power charger smoking is super scary. I'm so glad you caught that and you're safe! That could have been really bad! 😫😬
Cheers dude. It tripped the electricity so all good. The phone wasn't even connected, so be careful if you leave it plugged in all the time.
Another good video BTW. 👍🏻
Will do! Thank you!
the bottom speaker is kinda a sub woofer so thats why is diffrent and pixel two is completely different it has almost the same speakers on both sides.
Thx for a great video... I learn something new... Good luck! 👍
S9 + bottom speaker if holding in hand but not blocking speaker, well the sound will come off your hand as if its facing you ya know?
I hate the sound coming out of the ear piece.
It’s very weird it’s loud when watching videos or playing music but soon as your phone ring the volume decreases like wtf
that's bvecause of the file. youi can make a video louder, but samsung keeps the decibel levels on the ringtones on the low side. you can use an app to make the ringtones louder
Audio engineer huh??😂 these speakers are fine tuned by AKG. They probably employ a ton of audio engineers.
@@ThisIsTechToday 👍👍
Ofc they are different the top speaker on the s9 is for making phone calls if am not wrong.
Awesome video bro
Now a days people are only considering the camera
Audio should considered as compared as camera
Samsung should focus on sound signature & algorithm like lg, the primary sound signature is changed after Android 6.0
Which a kind of weird thing I expect from Samsung
Oh, man. LG is doing amazing things with their audio!
My top speaker can't handle more than about half volume before it sounds tinny, which sucks because I don't like headphones and am hard of hearing.
Dang, sorry to hear that. That is the downside of how they set up those speakers with the high end and mids in the top speaker only.
I noticed the same issue on my S9. Top sound Tiny high tones, bottom is louder x3 and bassy
It has a tweeter and a top speaker .. just like HTC 10 lol. Are ppl clueless
That's a weird setup. No one does that. Here, watch this since I made it to show the scientific and objective reality and made it easy to understand. ua-cam.com/video/-hy7pZhLZKQ/v-deo.html
OMG you're like so in depth and honest.
So in short, you're a samsung hater huh? 😂
Your ability to actually comprehend what is actually said and your bias to be a Samsung "fanboy/girl" is kind of astounding.
This Is Tech Today I am just saying u never talk about iPhones because they are to bad u cant even put it in ur vids
marj morales no I am saying because I have used both and apple sucks
The speakers definitely could of been better on the XL 2. From the crackling and distortion at 40%+ LG really dropped the ball on this one.
I'd love to see someone make a video of the effects of hippity flop or rap bass tones on these tiny ass speakers on smartphones. It cant be healthy for the tiny tweeters trying to bounce those frequencies. Lmao
that is intended, the top is more ment as a twitter an lower a full sound
I get a lot of rattle at high volumes on my p2xl. My wife has an s9+ and while I can't speak to it as well as my own phone, and the speaker layout is odd, I think it sounds better than my phone.
As a side note, watching the ASMR video, my top pixel2xl speaker is noticably more quiet than the bottom.
Love the review bro looking forward to the day you hit 1million subscribers
Wow! Thank you so much, friend! Maybe someday that will happen. Who knows! I appreciate your support, friend :)
Well deserved bro looking forward for other reviews
Lol I maybe 5 months to late but I enjoy the sound of the s9. Having a secondary on any smartphone is must. But I do like the way the speakers are placed here, why do ask? Because it gives you a more stereo experience. Or as Samsung claims it has a Dolby digital experience.
Do you think samsung intentionally did this to create sound depth mate ? I would think so.
There is something wrong with the speakers. So annoying.
The amount these phones cost im sure they could use better circuitry for the sound in the phone including speakers.
Honestly with dolby on the top speaker sounds more rich and bassy then the bottom
Rich, yes, but bassy? It's just not possible because of how small it is in comparison to the bottom. The physics don't allow it to put out more bass or even equal bass.
For me it’s a lot more balanced than my 7 plus which on most angles sounded way different and unbalanced
Ppl ppl. The bottom speaker is a tweeter and front one is a regular speaker. Both speakers give u dufferent highs and mids. Lol 🙄
Love your video . thank you
I have the s9+ & the atmos stereo speakers sound great. No problem whatsoever!
Oh god you saved me i thought i broke my speaker with water because it have a bad sound at right
S9plus speakers are no good especially when it comes to receiving calls I can hardly hear my caller always put the phone on speakers 👎 I hate to do this all the time .
huh, i thought me blowing compressed air and using 91% iso with a toothbrush might have damage my top speaker.
He must have a defective unit and is just wrong!"
First, I'm not anyone.
You can see it with your eyes in a normally lit room: twitter.com/thisistechtoday/status/990953075308249088
What is interesting about this is that I went to the Best Buy Store and looked at multiple OLED panels.
Just love.
why not just make videos on Google phones?
Subscribed. Make more vids like this thanks
Not only s9 s20 also my phone loudspeakers sound so cheap my iphone had great speakers i like samsung but the sound quality is terrible
Dope vid bruh
Thanks, Ben and thank you for watching!
HTC phones has the best speakers of all cell Phones
I haven't tested them against modern phones so I'm not sure 🤷♂️
You should try the HTC one M8 i have that phone and it sounded really good
Well my friend if you hate math, chances are your more on the creative side and tend to think outside the box a bit more than others
Hmmm, I think my ears sucks cuz the sound is the bees knees to me. 👀🤔🤙I appreciate your take! 🙌
Subbed!
Thank you so much, friend!
