There's a massive difference between "peak physical condition" and "comic book peak physical condition". Unless your super human, many of the feats of strength that these non-powered characters perform would not be possible. There's a reason that real bodybuilders look like discount Bane's: You're not exhibiting some of these feats of strength without big muscles but since it's cooler to watch thinner characters do these things, this is what we get.

actually, red hood is one of the most overrated characters in dc. if anyone's an underrated character, it's superman. everyone thinks he's just a bland, emotionless, invincible god because of the movies that people have made of him, but if you actually read the comics, he'd definitely be a favorite. i recommend all-star superman if you're starting out, it's a great comic that returns superman to his core

@@devinneill1310 through out the “Red Hood and the Outlaws” run. I once saw him cut a couple of robots in half with his fire. He’s blocked supergirl using Wonder Woman’s sword with his blades, and defeated Ras al ghul in a sword fight using both his swords and his soul manipulation.
I’m glad someone else is pointing this out. He’s always seen a naturally strong for just a regular dude. All of the robins had something about them that made each of them unique and for him, I truly believe it’s his strength and aggression.

Thank you for this, It simply reaffirms what I've been saying for a while. Jason could easily be the next Batman. But the point is that he doesn't want to be. He's Red Hood. As a fan of what he's become I have to say the whole thing that led to it even happening, was a blessing. It gave us this wonderfully interesting character.
Death battle creators have done him dirtier making him lose for pointless reasons like fans voted for that or his helmet malfunctioned and blew up his head or use the titans one which is the most nerfed version of jason or putting him up against op characters and more
I was always under the impression that his resurrection had "enhanced" him in some ways, sure, not make him superman level, but much more powerful than he was before his death. That's how I explain all the "that's not human" moments he has.

You do know Death Battle used the Supergirl feats Jason had but after the fight they explained why they were not valid . Him holding up the building was due to him using venom and not brute strength . In the Death Battle also he only used venom at the very end and Winter Soldier has the infinity formula and enhanced bionic arm . So .

Red hoods actually been growing in popularity for a while now, and im deff here for it, we know nightwing actually can beat bruce in a no gaget just bare knuckle brawl kinda fight, but red hood, we now know either he or bruce are always holding back, so maybe we need to see them both go all out

Red Hood has always been one of my favorite DC anti-heroes, and that was before I even learned about all these accomplishments. Now, I know just how cool he can truly be.
As a Red Hood fan...he did not 'match' Supergirl. It's pretty clear that he had caught Supergirl by surprise and she was not holding him in any serious hold. But yeah, Red Hood is extremely capable when compared to the Bat family.
Biggest thing you missed, was in event leviathan he took on Batman, Robin (Damian), Green Arrow, ManHunter, and Steve Trevor all at once and managed to defeat them! Hell of a fight!
Red Hood for me personally has always been my favorite Batfamily member, with Batman, Nightwing, and Alfred trailing behind him as runner ups. But then again that's just me.

I think what Jason meant by “holding back” when talking about fighting with Batman was more like the fact that he knows what part of his armor would be lethal if he shot it, and decided not to. No matter the story, Jason still have a part of him that sees Bruce like a father, and he is still not ready to shoot Bruce to kill. So he uses his guns and gadgets in a fight, but holds back on his lethal moves so he won’t kill Bruce while fighting. But then again, he would be cheating, considering Bruce would not be using a gun. But is interesting to think that both of them do hold back during their fights in some way. Makes me love Jason’s character even more than I already do.

Damian only beat him in movie form and red robin hasn’t beat him. The only ones that beat him straight up are nightwing and Batman, red hood matched him then filled him with bullets and Damian annoys him but nightwing and Batman are the only ones that beat him one on one and even that is rarer than deathstroke defeating them as deathstroke beat both nightwing and Batman in their very first fights. Red hood has beaten Batman, deathstroke, matched nightwing, nearly killed Tim and effortlessly beat Damian he’s definitely top two out of the robins and the only reason he isn’t number one is because he doesn’t kill family
Actually like all bat family fighters he is faster than Bruce.Batman is always treated as the biggest and hence slowest among them.Nightwing is the fastest for sure Bruce is the strongest and most skilled though. Regardless Red Hood can quite literally avoid plenty of Batmans overrated flying hands.

Man every time I see a Red Hood theme episode, I can't help but think about what Jason Todd went through in the Arkham universe. The torture he endured for a year under the Joker was more cruel than his relatively quick death in A Death in the Family.

I love red hood and definitely think people underestimate his prowess but u really misrepresented lots of things - deathstroke had been very weakened during their fight - he held up the roof when on venom -he did not rival kryptonian strength. He broke karas grips but she was easily able to hold him down again she just wasn’t expecting the strength but he didn’t rival he strength. @Variant Comics
True, I also like to think each Robin surpasses Bruce in their own ways but Red Hood is definitely top notch and is my favorite so it’s nice to see how far he’s come.

Each of the robins has their own physical advantage. Jason gets strength and durability, Dick is speed and agility, Tim is more so iq and muscle dexterity while Damian is young but due his upbringing has the most potential

I love red hood, always felt like he is a very complex character with understandable motivations.
I was always under the impression that his resurrection had "enhanced" him in some ways, sure, not make him superman level, but much more powerful than he was before his death. That's how I explain all the "that's not human" moments he has.
People think the Batman is human and the Batman family but in reality batman is superhuman and those who he chooses to join in the bat family are secretly also superhuman. It isn’t because comics inflate what the human body could do....
(This is all a joke to make it clear)
There is actually a nice theory that explains why Batman and other humans are so powerful. It says that they are just descendants of Vandal Savage.

You do know Death Battle used the Supergirl feats Jason had but after the fight they explained why they were not valid . Him holding up the building was due to him using venom and not brute strength . In the Death Battle also he only used venom at the very end and Winter Soldier has the infinity formula and enhanced bionic arm . So .

Red hoods actually been growing in popularity for a while now, and im deff here for it, we know nightwing actually can beat bruce in a no gaget just bare knuckle brawl kinda fight, but red hood, we now know either he or bruce are always holding back, so maybe we need to see them both go all out

Red Hood has always been one of my favorite DC anti-heroes, and that was before I even learned about all these accomplishments. Now, I know just how cool he can truly be.
As a Red Hood fan...he did not 'match' Supergirl. It's pretty clear that he had caught Supergirl by surprise and she was not holding him in any serious hold. But yeah, Red Hood is extremely capable when compared to the Bat family.
Biggest thing you missed, was in event leviathan he took on Batman, Robin (Damian), Green Arrow, ManHunter, and Steve Trevor all at once and managed to defeat them! Hell of a fight!
Red Hood for me personally has always been my favorite Batfamily member, with Batman, Nightwing, and Alfred trailing behind him as runner ups.
But then again that's just me.
All I'm saying is I don't wanna mess with the guy that is able to make a mouth appear and disappear at random on his helmets

I think what Jason meant by “holding back” when talking about fighting with Batman was more like the fact that he knows what part of his armor would be lethal if he shot it, and decided not to.
No matter the story, Jason still have a part of him that sees Bruce like a father, and he is still not ready to shoot Bruce to kill. So he uses his guns and gadgets in a fight, but holds back on his lethal moves so he won’t kill Bruce while fighting.
But then again, he would be cheating, considering Bruce would not be using a gun. But is interesting to think that both of them do hold back during their fights in some way. Makes me love Jason’s character even more than I already do.
That’s why Jason needs to move from Gotham or deal with Bruce’s rules cause he clearly don’t got the sack to do the deed

I loved learning even more about Red Hood. I knew about the venom but I didn’t think he was the kind of person to hold back against Batman and I’m amazed he could beat Lady Shiva. I love Nightwing more but Jason will always be in the top 5% of my all-time favorite DC characters

Deathstroke must hate the batfamily. All they kicked his ass
Damian only beat him in movie form and red robin hasn’t beat him. The only ones that beat him straight up are nightwing and Batman, red hood matched him then filled him with bullets and Damian annoys him but nightwing and Batman are the only ones that beat him one on one and even that is rarer than deathstroke defeating them as deathstroke beat both nightwing and Batman in their very first fights. Red hood has beaten Batman, deathstroke, matched nightwing, nearly killed Tim and effortlessly beat Damian he’s definitely top two out of the robins and the only reason he isn’t number one is because he doesn’t kill family

Man every time I see a Red Hood theme episode, I can't help but think about what Jason Todd went through in the Arkham universe. The torture he endured for a year under the Joker was more cruel than his relatively quick death in A Death in the Family.

Although Jason Todd aka the Red Hood claims that he's holding back against his fight against Bruce Wayne aka the Batman I still don't believe he would be able to take Batman down because he's, The Batman if you know what I mean.

Personally, my favorite member of the Bat Family and DC character in general.
I'd argue that he is technically more powerful than Batman with the All Blades which are magic based something Batman has little skill in and so Todd takes the win in this corner. Also Lobdell run on Red Hood was awesome man from New 52 to Rebirth just utterly awesome.

- he held up the roof when on venom
-he did not rival kryptonian strength. He broke karas grips but she was easily able to hold him down again she just wasn’t expecting the strength but he didn’t rival he strength.

Each of the robins has their own physical advantage. Jason gets strength and durability, Dick is speed and agility, Tim is more so iq and muscle dexterity while Damian is young but due his upbringing has the most potential
