Birchwood breeze is actually really good. I didn’t really have high expectations for it after I saw your review about it. When I used it in the shower it made me smell like fresh birch bark being blown in the wind. Tbh you should reconsider Birchwood Breeze.

But hey, I did order the deodorant (for my upcoming deodorant Rankings video), so we'll see if I like that any better than the soap. the scent of the soap didn't bother me until AFTER it was lathered up and amplified, but maybe if the deo is more mellow, it will be more tolerable for me.

Hi Gary, my name is Caleb Barcelos. I'm a Christian and I love watching your videos on soaps. The first soap bar from Dr. Squatch I bought was the Spidey Suds one that just came out. It was alright for the most part, kind of had a berry scent to it almost. However it left a big blue stain on the floor of my tub after I finished using the whole thing. So that might be annoying to try to clean off, but if you want to give it a try feel free to, it's just decent. My favorite bar so far, and it's actually my second bar, is the Fresh Falls. Fresh Falls is 🔥🔥🔥 It was the first scent I bought, and I found it at Target. I chose it as my first scent over Pine Tar and that Goat Milk scented one. I’m looking to try other scents out as well. I ended up getting 2 Pine Tar Briccs with the Batman Bricc Set I ordered, and they actually smell better than I thought they would once I actually lathered them.
Spearmint Basil smells like a cross between medicine and cheap peppermint and will make most people hate Dr. Squatch soap while nearly every other bar will make people love Dr. Squatch soap. If you attempt to breathe around the bar you’ll potentially choke.
You are straight trippin. Birchwood breeze is top 3. The best 4 scents are bay rum: sweet, spicy, pine, fresh, citrus. fresh falls: fresh, clean, crisp with a little citrus. birchwood breeze: fresh clean crisp like a good cologne. and wood barrel bourbon: spicy, woody, warm, cozy. Great fall and winter one. HATE the pine tar. Smells like that comet white powder cleaner that you use to scrub your toilets with.
i just bought a 4 set. They may be natural, and non-chemical, but they smell so strong, that if you didn't know what it was, it seems to others that you heavily applied a cheap deodorant.
I agree with Wood Barrel Bourbon, Fresh Falls, Deep Sea Goats Milk and Pine Tar. I hated Spearmint Basil and Gold Moss. Scents were very weak. I wasn’t high on cool Fresh Aloe either but I like the way it feels.
Eucalyptus Greek yogurt is underrated in my opinion. I got the “try em all” bundle in March and I’m down to 3 soaps including EGY. Mine has a pretty strong scent compared to others. I just opened it today!

I guess I'm the only guy who doesnt like fresh falls. I switched to Sudsy Bear a couple months back. One of my favorites was Smoky Mountain Fog. It was a green swirl color . they reformulated it and now its blue with that Alaskan glacier clay as well. Gave it to my son.

Top 5 for me is 1)Cool Fresh Aloe - If clean had an actual sent, this would be it. 2)Drunkin Pumpkin - I was really upset that they did not offer it again at halloween. 3) Deep Sea Goats Milk - Feels great. 4)Wood Barrel Bourbon - I like its stronger sent. 5) Bric of the dead. - Very unique sent. And while I never tried Spartan Scrub, for me I just can not stand the sent of Fresh Falls. Smells like stagnate water to me. But scents, just like tastes, are truly individual preferences. dude your ranking is just about the same as mine especially the last 5 , i just havnt smelt the halo spartan scrub so i don’t have a say on it i also did think the exact same thing of the batman soap it just smells like a colony leather , maybe a bit too much cologne but i still like it in fact love it .
FWIW, I ordered a bar of Gold Moss and it arrived yesterday. It was the original color and had a rich, slightly sweet scent. I ordered it to give to a friend but I'm honestly tempted to use it myself. I bought a bar a few years ago and remember it having an earthy/soil scent that lingered and little lather. I have to say I really like the scent on this latest bar. Hopefully Squatch did away with the changed formula.

I just got a squatch subscription and I got fresh falls shampoo/conditioner and bar. Plus deep sea goats milk and cool fresh aloe. I'm pretty pleased with my first purchase. I'm going to try moon rock and coconut castaway next. But I think fresh falls will be my go to. The shampoo and conditioner is very nice as well if anyone is wondering.
I think spearmint basil is pretty good but i think it is very very strong, you can smell is about 2 feet away. But it’s very good for people that like spearmint

Pine tar is my favorite because it's grit, I wish other soap companies made grit soap like that ,like duke cannon, because duke cannons camp fire is by far one of favorite soaps, last way longer then dr squatch, Dr squatch is good ,but I believe way over priced for amount you get an how fast it goes ,if you work on farm or something that you get dirty dr squatch isn't the soap ya want because your going to go through them fast .

Everyone has opinion , I fully understand that this is his opinion but some soaps where you say they don’t have much of a smell meanwhile they all have scents to them , for one you said Greek yogurt has no scent to it meanwhile I think everybody could agree it smells like vicks lol and I’m actually hoping dr squatch makes there scents stronger not tone them down there supposed to have a overpowering scent , Irish spring soap in a bottle is even over powering, I don’t think I’ve ever said “I wish it wasn’t so strong” if anything you’d want whatever scene you shower with to stay on your skin for as long as possible
I agree with the worst bar being spartan scrub. It almost smells like gun powder. I've never been a fan of Alpine sage. The smell isn't strong in scent. Cold brew cleanse is another one I only used one time and didn't like it. I'm glad to see that Mars isn't your #1. I really think that bar is overrated.
you should do a rankings video, as well; maybe not all 33 if that's too much, but maybe make a video with your top 10 favorites, or something. The videos making lists seem to get more views over time than the 1-bar review.

I think my preferences are quite a bit different from yours, because I want a bar of soap with a fragrance so strong, and so powerful, that it lingers on my skin for an hour or two after I get out of the shower, and follows me out of the bathroom. And that's my main complaint with Dr Squatch soaps, is that most of them, most of the time, are not strong enough for my liking. But of the ones I have tried, pine tar would probably be my number one, eucalyptus would be close behind. And yes, I tried the spearmint basil in my previous order, and it was actually pretty good. I would buy it again. I found Bay Rum to be incredibly boring, and I didn't care for the spice cake fragrance at all. I couldn't agree more with you about the cedar citrus. Very underwhelming, and the Citrus flavor was not pronounced at all. The Deep seed goat's milk, I also agree with you that it feels the best on my skin. I live in the desert southwest, and dry itchy skin is just a way of life. The goat's milk is fantastic for getting rid of the dry itchy uncomfortable quality of my skin between showers. Most of the other fragrances that you mention here are ones I have never tried before. I would love to give the peppermint one a whirl, and I definitely want to seek out the wood barrel bourbon. In closing, I thought that the Irish Spring sport fragrance was discontinued. I have tried to find it in stores, and it seems to have virtually disappeared in the last couple of years. Which is sad, because before I discovered Dr squatch, Irish Spring sport was probably one of my favorite fragrances ever. I'll also say that I'm not crazy about the grit factor in Pine tar, though I like its fragrance a lot. It ends up getting gritty residue all over my shower and shower curtain, which I have to clean up every time I get out. But it's worth putting up with that for the fragrance, for me.
I think you got scammed bud!. because on birtch breeze, if you look at the whole where you can sniff the sents it is way to big of a whole. and they are not that small. Im sure you got scammed.!!!
I do have to agree with Bay Rum. My brother got me that scent for Easter and it smelled really good, but when i used it in the shower it got weaker. I also got Pine Tar for my birthday a week after that so I hope that its better.
hey Gary, Dr. Squatch changed the recipe for birchwood breeze. And it now is not as near as strong when you lather it up and use it in the shower it also has a slight almond scent
I always wanted to try these soaps one day I walked into Walmart n seen them for 6$ n I got 10 bars of WOOD BARREL BOURBON n 5 bars of CEDAR CITRUS haven’t tried CEDAR CITRUS yet. But I noticed one bar lasts about 5 days
If you wanna make the soaps last way longer cut them in half and use a loofah and use a soap saver for your soap bars(also don't leave your soap under running water).

I think fresh falls cedar citrus and only hope soap and ruthless rinse are the best that I've used

I think my preferences are quite a bit different from yours, because I want a bar of soap with a fragrance so strong, and so powerful, that it lingers on my skin for an hour or two after I get out of the shower, and follows me out of the bathroom. And that's my main complaint with Dr Squatch soaps, is that most of them, most of the time, are not strong enough for my liking. But of the ones I have tried, pine tar would probably be my number one, eucalyptus would be close behind. And yes, I tried the spearmint basil in my previous order, and it was actually pretty good. I would buy it again. I found Bay Rum to be incredibly boring, and I didn't care for the spice cake fragrance at all. I couldn't agree more with you about the cedar citrus. Very underwhelming, and the Citrus flavor was not pronounced at all. The Deep seed goat's milk, I also agree with you that it feels the best on my skin. I live in the desert southwest, and dry itchy skin is just a way of life. The goat's milk is fantastic for getting rid of the dry itchy uncomfortable quality of my skin between showers. Most of the other fragrances that you mention here are ones I have never tried before. I would love to give the peppermint one a whirl, and I definitely want to seek out the wood barrel bourbon. In closing, I thought that the Irish Spring sport fragrance was discontinued. I have tried to find it in stores, and it seems to have virtually disappeared in the last couple of years. Which is sad, because before I discovered Dr squatch, Irish Spring sport was probably one of my favorite fragrances ever. I'll also say that I'm not crazy about the grit factor in Pine tar, though I like its fragrance a lot. It ends up getting gritty residue all over my shower and shower curtain, which I have to clean up every time I get out. But it's worth putting up with that for the fragrance, for me.
Don’t buy bay rum unless you like smelling like hot tamales candy! Overwhelming smell too.

I think you got scammed bud!. because on birtch breeze, if you look at the whole where you can sniff the sents it is way to big of a whole. and they are not that small. Im sure you got scammed.!!!

Great review fresh falls pine tar and wood barrel Bourbon those are the ones I've been able to try so far I like all three of them.

Right I thought I was only one who got that smell, because actual coffee smell would have been awesome.
I do have to agree with Bay Rum. My brother got me that scent for Easter and it smelled really good, but when i used it in the shower it got weaker. I also got Pine Tar for my birthday a week after that so I hope that its better.
hey Gary, Dr. Squatch changed the recipe for birchwood breeze. And it now is not as near as strong when you lather it up and use it in the shower it also has a slight almond scent

I always wanted to try these soaps one day I walked into Walmart n seen them for 6$ n I got 10 bars of WOOD BARREL BOURBON n 5 bars of CEDAR CITRUS haven’t tried CEDAR CITRUS yet. But I noticed one bar lasts about 5 days
as soon as you master lathering and using the soaps, a bar will last a month for me. hint: cut them in half.

If you wanna make the soaps last way longer cut them in half and use a loofah and use a soap saver for your soap bars(also don't leave your soap under running water).
