I retried Florida Grove from Sudsy, which was my number one favourite from them, and it was significantly worse. Maybe they amped up the cedar scent and the balance of that, orange zest and honey was off balance? Swamp Dweller is still amazing though, and Free Solo Scrub and Werewolf Wash from Squatch are still my top 2. Hope you're doing well!

Deep Sea Goat’s Milk is a fine bricc and deserving of the #1 spot. Thousand Sword Scrub I liked much better than I thought. Somehow the cedar citrus combo gave it a metallic smell that fit the theme. Overall, I think you are in the ballpark on most scents.

I just had this video popup on my phone, I have you Subbed with the bell on and it's almost a week later. Weird. I have tried quite a few more briccs since my top 10 last year which was ranking the 10 I've used so far. Some personal comments: I finally tried the Dark Side Scrub, I like to buy my briccs from the website when I can but since this one was only available in the 4 pack that was usually sold out, I've never tried it until I found it by itself with the other Star Wars I briccs at my grocery store. I liked it ok enough but it wasn't my favorite. In your original video the bricc looked really pale compared to the one I used, here it was closer but mine had deeper blacks and red/purple colors. I tried out some more OGs but the Birchwood and revisiting the Grapefruit IPA and Gold Moss were kind of underwhelming to me. Rainforest Rapids was OK. I found the Bronco Bricc to be like a new car smell when I used it, kind of a neat gimmick but middling over all. Snowy Pine Tar got a lift for me from my original top 10. I used my second bricc and I liked it a lot better. Maybe I got a bad bricc but I prefer the OG Pine Tar. Of the Avengers I like the Hulk best, then Stark then Thor which was a bit of a disappointment. I have to try the Liberty Lather still which I will crack for the 4th tomorrow. I've used 2 Spartan Scrubs and they both smelled like Rootbeer to me. Overall a lot of the Squatch briccs I've tried lately have been, to me, good but not great. Best have been the Riddler Enigma, Moon Rock, Free Solo and Scrub Smash. I hope this comment wasn't too long and I hope I don't sound like a hater, I love your soap guides and sense of humor.

For bars, the Blueberries & Cream is my favorite OG and I think the most popular, but the Icy Eucalyptus, Barbershop, and Florida Grove are also well liked. Id recommend trying the holiday bars too if they're available, they're usually some of the best. Most of their other products are good, but I especially like the deodorant, it feels smoother than Squatch's. If you want to know more, I have a lot of reviews on the channel, including some versus ones against Squatch.
I cant find the DSGM on the european site, there are some others I'd like to try but that don't show up on the european market either. I do hope they show up sooner or later.. 😮💨

It seems Squatch has increased them by 10x lately, and a lot of them come down to scent / grit preference. Also I’ve never been a DSGM fan, but recently retried it and I must have gotten some bad batches that didn’t lather great before, because this lather is thicc. I still am not too big on the scent (smells like baby shampoo to me), but otherwise it is a good one. My top is still Drunk’n Pumpkin, and no amount of wannabes will ever take away from its greatness. 🎃👑
I got frosty peppermint the same day as I write this comment and ( out of the soaps I got for Christmas) frosty peppermint places higher than snowy pine tar, coconut castaway, headless rinse, cool fresh aloe, bricc of the brave and pine tar (in my personal ranking) I’m not bugging, but the fresh, cool, clean, sweet, Christmas and peppermint scent is so good. The only complaint I have about this bricc is that i prefer grit but the zero grit fits the briccs personality.
Fresh falls at #3 just makes sense. It's incredible. Ive tried 4 other scents from soap guy/bulk apothecary. Glacial springs, cool water, cool springs, even blueberry. None of them were as good
I just can't relate to wisdom wash being so high and it's because both times I've gotten one it was over two years old and the scent was beginning to go bad. I still got some herbal goodness but also some rancidity. Was still a decent wash tho. Really wish I could try a fresh one to see what all the fuss is about. Have you been given soap that was clearly old? Did it affect your opinion of the flavor?
My top favs in no order free solo scrub,grapefruit ipa lov bircheood,both batman briccs,spartan scrub,stuck on bricc of the dead and werewolf wash. Honestly, all of Doctor squatch Halloween themes are highly fresh and passionate attention to detail
I think it's a good solid update. I agree with your rankings. I hope the Drunkin Pumpkin gets released soon. I want to try it. I may try the Twisted Pumpkin from Sudsy Bear instead.
Okay you said that you reviewed all the bars but there's a bar that I didn't see in this list and that was the Justin Herbert scrub collab bar with Dr squatch I believe that's the quarterback for the San Diego chargers I didn't see that one in here, that far for me is right up there with fresh falls and fresh falls is the one that I mostly use so I'm a little sad I didn't see the Justin Herbert fresh scrub in here EDIT: okay never mind I just found out why I loved the Herbert scrub and fresh falls because it's pretty much the same bar just different packaging and a different name so sorry about that no wonder I liked both of those bars lol 😅
Do you also have the problem of having too many zero or light grit bars compared to heavy or medium? Also, you should try Hoffman's soaps. They're amazing.
I do find most of the medium grit bars tend to be light, so there isn't as many heavier options. I have seen Hoffman's, they look interesting, I might try them down the line.
Heads up Fricc me boi maverick deo just hit my emails and i literally just wonder if they were getting one since its so close of a flavour of the batman bricc. Hope they make a permanent riddler equivalent too!

It’s sad two of your highest ranking are at the bottom of my lists because they had no scent or very little when I first got them and then died after the first shower. Got plans to retry Deep Sea Goats Milk and Bricc of the dead in the future. Way too many people have those on the tops of their lists, for me not to think I got dudes on those two.
The OG Gold Moss Scrub was way better than the new formula. The new Gold Moss doesn't belong in the Vomit-tier, though; it's too light to be offensive. Not like Spartan Scrub or Black Hole that are much stronger; those literally make me naseous. I wish you could review the OG Gold Moss Scrub; it was the perfect strength.
I agree man, the original Gold Moss Scrub was amazing, I miss that bar. If I remember right it had the best lather other than the Deep Sea Goat's Milk. The new version though just seems like it's been stripped of everything that made it good, it's just so bland now, and that's why I feel like it has little appeal. I think I do have an original stored away, maybe I should break it out now that you mention it. Also yeah I get the Spartan Scrub lol, that one's definitely a niche scent, but you don't like Black Hole?

Nah pine tar is legit a white man's soap I got that for my friend he loves it but him and me like bay rum due to it not smelling like that that pine is wayyyy to strong I have white and Spanish friends and the all agreed the mint ones and pine is for yall I personally like mostly the Halloween editions and the fresh falls

No man, that Dark Side Scrub is not poorly made! It's actually very well made for them to be able to combine 2 separate scents into the same bar; it's actually brilliant! Now, I can't argue if you hate the scent...but I do think you're off-base saying that it's poorly made! Quality isn't the problem; i think it's the smoke scent for many!
To me the design of the bar sounds great, but every time I've used it it's been lacking in quality and feels like they forgot to add any of the unique ingredients or scent to it. It's not the scent that I don't like, it's the lack of scent and the lack of grit or unique feel for that matter that I dislike. You've probably gotten some better batches than I have, as opinions on this one seem to vary drastically. I'd like a smokey scent to be honest, but I've never gotten a bar that really had any scent or even much grit/charcoal to it.
@@frickcast my Dark Side bars have had a pretty strong smoky scent...and then it's mixed with the same scent of Ruthless Rinse; i'm not a huge fan of either scent, but i appreciate the way Squatch tried to get creative and try something new with the Smokey/Sweet hybrid bar. I will watch more of this Rankings video soon, and drop some more comments as I go along.

My dark side scrub bar was near perfect it had a medium potent scent and the lather was amazing and it was near the end of its shelf life too

you know its funny i always find it humerous how utterly awful and unpopular your takes are you have your couple fans and then a couple people who take your word for it who dont know but its just so hilarious to me like you'll actually crap on the most popular ones and put the mediocre ones at the top its amazing so i just come here for a good laugh (and to pick up whatever you say is bad because i know that means its good)

No man, that Dark Side Scrub is not poorly made! It's actually very well made for them to be able to combine 2 separate scents into the same bar; it's actually brilliant! Now, I can't argue if you hate the scent...but I do think you're off-base saying that it's poorly made! Quality isn't the problem; i think it's the smoke scent for many!
To me the design of the bar sounds great, but every time I've used it it's been lacking in quality and feels like they forgot to add any of the unique ingredients or scent to it. It's not the scent that I don't like, it's the lack of scent and the lack of grit or unique feel for that matter that I dislike. You've probably gotten some better batches than I have, as opinions on this one seem to vary drastically. I'd like a smokey scent to be honest, but I've never gotten a bar that really had any scent or even much grit/charcoal to it.
@@frickcast my Dark Side bars have had a pretty strong smoky scent...and then it's mixed with the same scent of Ruthless Rinse; i'm not a huge fan of either scent, but i appreciate the way Squatch tried to get creative and try something new with the Smokey/Sweet hybrid bar. I will watch more of this Rankings video soon, and drop some more comments as I go along.
