    Sweet! I wish you would have started it up and peeled out of the garage at the end though 🙂.

    are there any mechanic shops in the Detroit area that you trust and recommend to perform such a gruesome surgery?

    Be cautious of the stupid water lines. The ones in the rear of the turbo are a b!tch to get to. Also, don’t twist them too much because where the lines mount on the rear of the block are tricky to replace

    Here is a step-by-step summary of the instructions from the video:
    1. Jack up the truck and remove the front wheels.
    2. Remove the fender liner and any fender flares.
    3. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
    4. Disconnect the battery.
    5. Remove the starter to access the lower side of the turbo.
    6. Remove bolts and start taking off intake and intercooler hoses. Remove the full intake if needed.
    7. Remove lines and nuts connecting the turbo to the downpipe and exhaust manifold.
    8. Remove coolant and oil lines from the turbo.
    9. Remove turbo from both sides of the engine bay.
    10. Remove exhaust manifold nuts and studs. Clean the engine block.
    11. Install new studs and gasket on the exhaust manifold. Install new manifold.
    12. Install new turbo gaskets and connectors like coolant lines. Install turbo.
    13. Install downpipe and tighten turbo mounts.
    14. Repeat steps 10-13 on other side of engine.
    15. Reinstall intake, starter, and fill coolant. Check for leaks.
    16. Reinstall fender liners and wheels. Take it for a test drive and tune.

    Also searching parts for my 2014 f150 ecoboost, I can't find any CR Performance parts using your site, would LOVE to hear that you have the Manifolds and all the gaskets in stock including turbo and coolant gaskets as I can't find them ANYWHERE... PLEASE Motoroso, save my repair and win my business! I'm a loyal enthusiast and I'm in a situation here, a warped OEM Manifold on my Moderately Modified Ecoboost Work Truck Sleeper, and I Blame Covid for the Gasket shortage but get me back in my truck, pulling on Late model Sports Cars and hauling Tools and Material to my Job Sites before I lose it and starting sleeping in my poor Truck that hasn't left the driveway in a month 😭😭😭

      Hey Aaron! SORRY, our site isn't loaded with these products yet, we're going to get to it very soon! BUT, that's no problem, we can still sell you most everything, just have to do it a little but the old fashioned way. We don't have the gaskets, but we'll get you the part numbers and you can/should be able to get them from your local ford dealer. Please give us a call toll free at 1.833.MOTOROSO (833.668.6767), or email us at support@motoroso.com. We'll pull together a big list of everything you need, and get you back on the road! Looking forward to hearing from you!

      The turbos have an oil filter screen on the line to the block no mechanic or video ever mentions them, they’re strictly for the turbos! Change them or this will cost you!$

    Do these manifolds fit a 20213.5L Ecoboost ?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso 3 роки тому +1

      Yes, the fir 13-16 F-150 3.5L EcoBoost. They also make manifolds for 11-12, and 17-21.

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso 2 роки тому

      We have this answer. Yes the Gen2 2017-2020s manifolds work on '21 if it's a non-Powerboost. Powerboost is not compatible.

    How long did it take?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso 2 роки тому +4

      Takes a lot longer when we’re shooting the video of everything. We split it up over 3 days, ~6 hours each day. The “book time” a dealer service center lists for this is 8-9 hours, which means they do it in under 6. Id guess most people could do it in 8-12 hours.
