Both tools are from Iowa, handee clamp is a father son team aircraft engineers made at a farm Tite-Reach is nothing but a warehouse now. The handee clamp is much better quality Ive never ran into a specific need for any bigger sizing to this day but I will pay more attention if the case may come up. The handee name is derived from handy industries and is trade marked hence "handee" but tite reach isnt really correctly spelled either so its just a matter that both tools have been around longer then the internet and not been remarketed, to be honest. The handee folks are fantastic people and I speak to them frequently he appreciates all videos very much.

My son and I acquired the dies and have been making them for a few years now. Every part of our tool, including packaging, is USA made. We have on occasion been asked about different lenghts. We don't really see a need for a shorter one. And for a longer one. Well purchase two and tighten the jaw of one tool onto the nut of the other--and now you have a tool that is twice as long. Pretty simple. Go USA!!!

I believe the Handi-clamp was the first of this style of tool. If I remember correctly, brought mine at the Napa store for $18-$20. Again thank you 😊

interesting - it hadn't occured to me until i read this comment that these nominally "clamping" tools should be usable for some limited spreading just as easily as for clamping🤔 Probably not the best tool for that job, but their design does seem directionally agnostic...

How do you guys hold the washer on top of the nut in hard to reach spots? I've tried thick grease to make it stick a bit.
