Well most popular singers don’t always have that wow factor. Their unique style ,and delivery wins over the audience. It’s just not their voice . This is why there are so many different singers and music. So you have a choice to choose who you like, and who you listen to.

She's a top 5 for sure. Her rasp made it even more incredible.
She's really good has attitude but it's to early to say top 5 rk who knows a Huntley or nini similar artist could walk in the door a powerhouse vocalist basically which is the way someone could beat her even before the top 5
@@jamesAGarfield608 Yes I agree with you. In season 24 ,everybody told that Nini might be the winner,but she couldn't even go to the finals. So,it's too early to call her a top 5 .Yes,she is incredible .But the whole game can be changed at any time.
@@gazi5903 agreed not only that but I personally was a big nini fan and never got the mara hype last season I was really annoyed that the idiot fans didn't let nini threw and got rid of Jackie instead tbh or lila forde my dream top 5 which wasn't going to happen last season was Huntley the winner nini second ruby 3rd mostly bc of her stupid popularity I didn't get her personally Mac In 4th instead of lila and 5th coulda been mara IMO I still think it was a L fan move to let nini go but keep mara who IMO was by far less superior
I still think and I will always say this Nini and Mac BOTH SHOULDA made it to the finals they were both robbed blindly listen im not a big rnb fan however Mac was litterally d.smooth from the season prior so the fact voters didn't see that and let lila who was way worse on John's team make it to the finals ment John was basically doomed and I still blame gwens bias for a lot of it as he went WAY to far same with Jordan on rebas team while nini and Mac BOTH got robbed blindly

Very smart she picked Chance as he will keep her till the end rather than pit against all the other people's top vocalists. Plus Chance is very creative as far as arrangements and producing.

@@jamesAGarfield608Watched last night, and it didn't get much better. Dani's is the only performance that I have re-watched, so far. Last season, I was very disappointed with Reba's song choices for Ruby, It all went downhill after the Linda Ronstadt song, IMO. BTW, I'm a history buff, so love your handle name!
@@DCInsightsbyM: Ruby chose every single one of her songs, but one---and, interestingly, Al Boogie chose "Jolene" (as per Ruby)!!!
Reba kept coaching Ruby to put a cry or yodel in, because Reba knew why we fell in-love with Ruby (cuz she could bring-back that "old Country sound"). Either Ruby didn't know why we fell in-love with her, or she didn't want to be in that lane, or.... And I'm thinking this is the real reason, she did what she did.... Ruby was trying to show what-all she could do, with her voice; but, this isn't "American Idol", where a contestant has to show that they can sing any genre; a singer can totally win The Voice, by staying in their lane. RUBY blew it, NOT Reba!! Don't get me wrong, I saw Reba do a couple of things, that I didn't agree with; but, this wasn't one that can be pinned on her.
@@catwhisperer9489So the coaches don't have any input, as far as song choice is concerned? Ruby knew how the fans felt, because she responded to comments on TikTok. We were strongly suggesting that she sing a Patsy Cline. At this point, we can just wish her all the best. As for Reba, I was surprised that she didn't put up more of a fight for Bryan Olesen.
@@DCInsightsbyM : Oh yeah, the coaches have input---especially, on the battles, the coaches pick the song; but, the only thing that I can figure, is that because Reba was new, she was hesitant to, like, rule with an iron fist. The kids, maybe, didn't know that she was suppose to help with song choice, and wanting to be prepared, chose something, and Reba went-along with it, not wanting to tell them they were wrong, or whatever.
Oh, yeah, everybody on Facebook was telling Ruby the same thing, and she put a ❤️ on what we said---but, I'm thinking Ruby felt that wouldn't show her range. The thing is, with an out this world voice, like Ruby's, no one wants to hear her sing in falsetto, for instance, like she did with Reba's "You Lie"---and Elvis, and "Desperado" were horrible choices, as well !!

Yeah, people just don't know how extensive Reba's career/catalogue, is. Like Bryan, Reba has sung Rock and Gospel (Reba won a Grammy for her Gospel album); Reba's produced, so she knows how to make someone sound good; and, like Bryan, she's a songwriter---but, the thing that wanted me to see them together the most, is that Bryan is a good Christian, and Reba's very religious, and I could just see him, seeing Reba, as a mother-type figure, like Jacquie Roar, did!!! Reba's friggin' phenomenal; people just don't know!!
Never heard this song sung like this. So rich and flavorful. The cry tone, rasp and mellow notes were heaven.
This is my favourite audition so far! I never thought you could tone down a song like this, but it sounds so nice! Aaand Reba was not happy getting blocked 😂

I listened to this many times to figure out why it's so good.. My conclusion is that I believe her. I believe every word she says; it flows out of her in a way that is authentic and powerful and so it is very moving. Very well done.

There’s so much to love about this audition - incredible interpretation and performance - that final phrasing. Wow. What I loved maybe most of all was how excited John Legend was for Chance. How can an artist fail in an environment where everyone is supporting each other so warmly. So good.

Good lord! Where do I even begin? She took a disco song & gave it more soul than it ever had previously! This performance was stunning! No crazy acrobatics, just a girl, a guitar & a lot of passion! She deserved every single one of those chair turns!! I AM A FAN! I’m so happy she went with Chance!!! I love the other coaches, but I think he is the only one that would let her kinda stay in her own lane. Phenomenal job! 💜

Ok, arms covered in goose bumps right now. That was truly next level. Not many people can really do that song justice. The original song is perfection and somehow she managed to re-interpret it and create another section of perfection for it. Two truths in the same space but so different.
Oh shoot, for me, it was all about her facial expressions, they were super dope! I felt like I was watching her performance though a continuous Snapchat filter😂❤. Don't get me wrong, her singing style was cool too but the depth of her expressions got me rooting for her to win😅

Wow! That was my favourite audition so far! She made me hear those lyrics for the very first time and what a big song that is, I mean, not only melodically, but lyrically speaking! She pulled us in by meaning every word and singing them with such great taste! If she keeps doing this, that's an artist I'd wanna buy albums of, for sure!
