- RHex is a 30-lb robot designed for mobility on rough terrain. It is operated remotely via an RF link that includes a high-resolution video uplink. RHex can operate right-side-up or up-side down, as shown in the video, and goes for up to four hours on one charge of its batteries. RHex has been around for several years, but we redesigned this version for ruggedness, long battery life, maintainability, and improved mobility. That is so cute. I know it's not intended to be but it just flops around like a derp. It's like, "bitch I'm getting there one way or another," funny looking but functional, like the platypus of the robot world.

Most of their other robots are a little terrifying, and this one just looks ridiculous when it moves.

Awe...I love him! I wish I had one with something like a leash or tracking device or something so that it would follow me. Walking home alone at night would be a little less scary then.

Enter it into Robot Wars. It would walk all over the other robots.
Its cute because it never complain the harsh experience and still walk silently and lonely. This gives us a mixed feeling of sympathy plus cuteness.
