The scene where Mycroft shouts "Do not fire on Sherlock Holmes!" Hurts me bc Little Sherlock is there showing that Mycroft still sees Sherlock as a little kid who he needs to protect
Lovely tribute. I've seen criticisms that Mycroft was OOC in the finale which is ridiculous. In the original stories, the brothers were quite friendly though not as close compared to Sherlock Holmes's friendship with John Watson.

Probably because he made grave mistakes and it was exposed in the last episode, and during he looked less clever compared to Sherlock.
I just interpreted it by that when it came to his brother and sister, he either underestimates them (Eurus) or overestimates (Sherlock in Belgravia).
Either way, their his pressure points.
I've enjoyed Mark Gatiss' acting throughout his roles, it's not showing off, but it's consistently good in the smaller details. I think that also comes from the fact that he's also a writer, he understands the layers behind a script.
Poor Microft. He loves and worries about his brother so much. However when Sherlock was willing to kill himself over his brother I think he showed that he does love him, but they both just have no idea how to show it.

This is the PERFECT video, I love this show, I love Sherlock but Mycroft took away my heart from the beginning. And if there’s something I adore even more than him, it’s his relationship with his brother. Not to say that as a big sister with a difficult relationship with her little sister, I can relate to him so much.

It takes a while to finally see what a family man Mycroft truly is.
Sherlock is my favorite character but, Mycroft demands so much respect. yes he's overbearing but he's obviously so protective of Sherlock and i love how season four really seems to explain that. I think though he beat dean out in how protective he is of his little brother.

it is brilliant! i always love their relationship! actually I can't get enough and feel bad for Mycroft after TFP :( everyone's blame him poor myc. and I always thought the scene where Sherlock have to choose between john or Mycroft could be more dramatic than just a scene of three of them talking :(

Omg same! The moment Mycroft started to press on Sherlock, saying that he should kill John..I felt right away what he was doing and it killed me. He actually believed that Sherlock would chose John over him and tried to make the choice easier for him..Ahh it hurts

Мне кажется, что их отношения сильно недооценены, как создателями так и зрителями. Я вообще люблю такой тип отношений между персонажами, когда они типо недолюбливают друг друга, всякие подколы и т.п, но в серьезных ситуациях друг за друга горой :)

У тебя есть свое особое виденье на подбор кадров, параллелей. Не у многих из тех кто работает в стиле минимализма это есть, так что твои работы выделяются!

Безумно люблю линию братьев Холмсов, одна из самых интересных для меня во всем сериале. К сожалению, она не взаимна, не в равных долях, старший брат всегда остаётся старшим братом - поэтому Майкрофт и скачет над Шерлоком весь сериал, а насчёт последнего не уверена, что тот способен это оценить по достоинству. У него на уме один Джон, вот семьёй в последней серии назвал - я не спорю, Джон близкий ему человек и очень хороший друг, но мне правда странно видеть Джона в приоритете, когда нам на протяжении всего сериала раскрывают линию заботливого старшего брата, у которого младший - pressure point (спасибо Магнуссену за разъяснения). Про 4х03 вообще молчу, этот выбор Шерлока. И тем не менее эту линию я люблю, наверно потому что Майкрофт мой любимый герой в сериале. И видео хорошо показывает их отношения, меня зацепило. За музыку отдельный плюс, то, что нужно, атмосферно получилось (кстати, не подскажете название?). Очень понравилось сочетание цитат и кадров - фразы идут про отсутствие brotherly compassion, про сантименты, про caring is not an advantage, и кадры их же опровергают. Немножко резануло по сердцу, больно от этого контраста холодных фраз Майкрофта и наглядного проявления его заботы. Но это прекрасно. Правда. Спасибо большое за такое качественное видео по Холмсам.

Мне было больно за Майкрофта всю третью серию. Этот его уязвленный взгляд, когда родители сказали, что Шерлок был "always the grown-up". То, что он буквально пытался помочь Шерлоку себя убить, так как знал, что тот выберет Джона в любом случае..в общем, все сцены с Майкрофтом - боль, что уж там xD
Но, наверное, самый мой любимый момент - сцена в самолете из рождественского эпизода, когда Майкрофт бережно собирал разорванный Шерлоком листок..Именно этот небольшой жест о стольком сказал

Hi! I download episodes with 5.1 audio.
I usualy download episodes from russian sites, but here the link for you:
extratorrent.cc/search/?search=sherlock+5.1&new=1&x=0&y=0
After that I convert them from mkv to mp4 with Total Video Converter 4 (but you can use MkvToMp4, I heard it's better :))
Before converting I set in setting of audio '5.1' instead of 'stereo'
That's it. Hope it will help you ;)
