Have the same ski. Thanks for the install, I was researching these exact parts. Still not sure if I want to do it myself.. However, you helped immensely and earned a follow.
Great video. Did the install myself following your video + the instructions. I did notice a little wiggle with the mounting bracket but we will see once the cup holder actually gets here if I want to adjust. Thank you!
I used the templates and they worked perfectly. The key is to ensure when you print them, that you click "actual size" on the scaling options. If you don't, it may be slightly resized to fit your paper selection and thus not align property.
Hi , nice video, you can get marine grade adhesive tape that wont let go,and no drilling you can also use loctite, they have many options,I never like to drill if I dont have to.
awesome... you did an awesome job with this install, also thanks for links and I'm wondering if it holds your cup in place when you are actually riding?
Hi! Where did you get the metal box on the front of your trailer? Is it made specifically to fit this trailer or did you have to modify anything to mount it? I am looking for something like that for the SeaDoo Move trailer I use. BTW, I mounted these brackets on my GTX 170. I found when I pulled off the molding that there were spots pre-molded right into it on the back side that showed exactly where to drill the holes. I assume they do this to make the install easier for the dealerships as they usually do this install. At any rate, it made the job super easy. I can't tell from your video if they have the same on your GTI. I will certainly find out as I will likely add this bracket to the 2023 GTI 170 I have on order. Can't wait!
Ooooh, I bet you already got it and are having so much fun! Sorry for the delay! ☺ The metal box on the trailer came that way, but if you can add one, it's a lifesaver! Love having it!
Unfortunate to have to drill into the side panels! If you ever want to remove it you are spending $500+ to replace those panels. For that reason I will be passing on this install but I DO appreciate the video!!

It's good you guys have someone to ride with. Because years ago when I had a Sea-Doo. I got so bored I would jump waves to keep my interest.
Definitely better with multiple people. 🙂

Great point! I should have thought of that! ☺
Same unit can get just the cup holder without the rod holder? Great vid
Hi, thanks for the video. Did you use anything on or around the screws and screw holes to keep it water tight?
Sorry for the delay. No, we did not. It wasn't necessary with that mount. ☺

Thank you Chris! Absolutely! Just make sure you get a snug fitting cup with a tight lid. I haven't lost it yet, but my 1st lid flew off the cup! haha
Great video thanks. Wanted to ask is the bag in the cargo front door is a seadoo OEM?
Yes, it is, I'm so sorry for the delay. It's the OEM SeaDoo brand. Love it! It was a great addition for sure, well worth it! ☺
Thanks for the video
Does it interfere with speaker controls
Sorry for the delay! No, it doesn't at all. It's mounted a little bit back where you can still reach all the buttons. ☺
