Just came across you guys and your so cute 😅me and my hubby are in our 50s and we are going to travel to Scotland in the autumn 🍂 really looking forward to it. Got a diesel heater so we will go for it. All the best u2 xx
I love Keely's laugh it's so joyful. After being on the wonderful Isle of Arran, I went to Isle of Skye but only stayed there a few days as it was too windy, and busy with too few good parkups, so I left and returned to Arran. The Midges are a real pain.
You should defo come check out Lewis and Harris aswell, it's AWESOME! Honestly the island islands are the best, because ferry's restrict the amount of people who can physically be there 🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely it’s a gonna be a tough one! We have similar mountains with that elevation in British Columbia, best advice I can give is to not eat too soon before the hike, bring double the amount of water you think you’ll need, and keep pushing at your own pace. About 1/2 to 3/4 way through the hike your body will adjust to the strenuous activity. You’ve got this!!
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 our whole video feels like one giant blooper some times 🤣🤣 Appreciate your kind words. For each video in our Scotland series we've been uploading bloopers and extra cuts to our Patreon ❤️
Keely, anyone who can climb anything anywhere is a star and you are a Star. So proud of you. We have family in Scotland and it is Magic for sure. I do agree with Philly, though, the midges are purposely let out for tourist in summer. That is a truth for sure. You are so brave. Gorgeous video as always .
Thanks Fiona! Outer Heb is our fave place so far!! (I know we think that everywhere haha, but we are already planning our trips to other islands next time we are back in Scotland )

Aww thanks so much 🥰🥰 so glad you enjoyed the nc500, that's our next destination after Lewis and Harris, so looking forward to sharing that with everyone, hope we capture the magic of it!
@ChapterByChapterVlog aww amazing. Some places I recommend are: Allt Chranaidh Waterfall (wailing widow doesn't come up on Google maps) ferryview campsite near John o groats, so quirky and they do a pit stop if you don't want to stay overnight use of fresh water and showers. Cocoa Mountain hot chocolate (Dornoch or durness) smoo caves and a toastie at cheese n toasted food van they do vegan cheese. Dubrobin castle. Balnakeil Beach. We saw dolphins and it was so special. lochinver - so stunning and make sure to get a pie here! They have veggie ones. We done a stunning scenic drive to ullapool from here. We done a nice mountain hike called quainag, I'm like keely I am so moody on the hikes but I did enjoy lol. I recommend the distilleries we had to miss them but heard they are so good. We had problems when our van had been driving a while it refused to start! It took 30 mins to restart. £400 later and 2 new batteries it turned out to be the stater motor! Beachah na ba or Applecross path is some drive but be prepared its a tricky one. Just a few from stop of my head x
Another fab video guys. Scotland does look amazing,we were planning to do the NC500 next July but seriously thinking about reconsidering it. There are 2 things I don’t really like and 1 is midges and the other is crowds of tourists 😂😂
If you want my honest opinion I would chose to do the islands in summer instead. But it depends on what you want, obviously the NC500 is famous for a reason, but if you want beauty AND isolation go to outer Hebrides islands. You direct message is anytime on IG for advice 🥰
Not watched the whole thing yet, but saw you doing the windmill around yer heeds because of the midgies! Get Avon Skin So Soft! It works and I'm allergic to everything under the Milky Way, but not to that! Ok, on to the rest of the vid!
I can attest to the sandwiches, we added that to our last campervan trip through Portugal last month. Also, I cried a little when you said pensioners......that's me, but I'm only 41😭🤣😭🤣💚 As always, I love the video!!!
My husband is from Skye and we just moved back, we totally appreciate your advice before going to fairy pools ❤ beautiful places to be shared on Skye but can be crazy during the summer
Yeah Its so beautiful, but if someone has flexibility of when they can take their holidays its definitely good to spread the load and go in another season, hopefully people learn from us and save themselves from midges too 🤣🤣
OMG, my heart sank when I saw the title, I thought something had gone wrong for you, glad it was just over tourism!! I think its a really common problem not just in Scotland. Everyone is going to the same "top sites" to take the same selfie they saw on Intragram during the years of lock down. Go out of season, or go to somewhere nearby that's almost or just as good but hasn't gone viral as a "place you must see"!! Hope you're not running out of time for Scotland, there's still so much more to see. Definitely worth going up to Ullapool and beyond to the north coast too. I've never been to the Outer Hebrides, that sounds exciting!
Yeah I think we have been lucky so far with summers that we've went to places noone else was, but this summer has been an eye opener for sure. Don't worry we will manage to squeeze in everything we want, but will have to come back for Edinburgh and other islands next time.
Another awesome video. I want to see Scotland so much but I will just have to tag along with you. Thank you Keely for breaking the rules and sharing your beautiful drone shots. So worth it! 😂 I am 72 and I know that I could never do that hike! So thank you again for taking one for the team!!!!
What can I say other than I totally enjoy your videos as they make me laugh so much. The midges, the hiking ,the mess in the van and like me your hunger pangs😂It such a beautiful part of the world but as you say too busy. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next week.💚👍👏👏
Ah keely i hate hills and climbs always glad when iv done them i feel so proud, did camino with my husband i gave out about every hill but had a ball , really enjoyed seeing the sights in ur video ,yourself and philly are a lovely couple so suited, love to you both❤❤
I live in Aberdeenshire, NE Scotland, but I absolutely avoid NC500 and the West coast at this time of year - primarily because of the crowds, but also because of the buggering midgies. I much prefer it in the cooler seasons when things are a lot quieter and you don’t get eaten alive. Awesome vids guys, take care and look forward to the next instalment. 👍😀
I said it would be busy. It was too busy in June, when i got as far as Portree and abandoned my visit as i could not find a parking space anywhere. Too many people have crashed there drones into the pinnacles of the Old man of storr, its a drone graveyard up there. Spoilt it for all. Heading back to skye later this year, out of season. East Scotland is best in summer, away from the crowds, its just as beautiful and interesting as the west of Scotland.
I think out of season is defo the right decision. I'm thinking spring on the islands next year would be lovely 😍 how can people hit the pinnacles, they are massive 🤣
Another good show you two. Scotland is such a beautiful country. We’ve just spent a few days at The Steam Packet Inn, Isle of Whithorn, Galloway close to where you started your Scottish journey. We too suffered from the dreaded Noseeums. Looking forward to seeing more of your travel in Scotland.
Thanks Ian, awesome that you are here too 🥰 Would love to go back to Galloway on a clear night! Maybe better in winter cuz it gets dark so early, more hours of potential clouds to clear haha.
Keely I’m late to this party but O M G I am so with you on walking ‘up’. My wee legs scream every time I have to go up a steep slope and my husband just doesn’t understand the effort needed to ‘overbend’ my legs 🤷🏻♀️ P.S. I’m from Dundalk but live in Cumbria and next time you’re both in the area give me a shout for some wild swimming and paddleboarding in the Lakes 😘
Poor wee Keeley getting blind-sided by all the mountainous walks! 😆 When they'd finished with New Zealand they put the leftover mountains and scenery in Scotland.
Aww thanks so much guys!! Scotland is honestly so epic! Really really surprised us how different it is to the rest of the UK! Still got another month of videos here, so excited to share more Scotland with everyone 🥰🥰
Oh my goodness. Of all the videos you’ve done and I’ve seen , which is pretty much all of them I think. This is definitely in the top one. Absolutely loved it. Amazing stuff guys. So well done ❤

What a trooper you are Keely! Your legs must be made of steel by now! Way to go encouraging her, Philly! You two are a great team. For me… the hiking would be enough but add the midgies and I’d be done! How annoying! Ok wait… Keely did Philly call you a highland cow? And after you making him delicious sandwiches? 😆 Your content is always so beautiful. Thank you for taking us along. Safe travels from Southern California 🌴
Great vlog as always. Thanks so much for the recommendation. We booked onto the Campsite in Sligachan after watching the video and have just had a fantastic short walk up to the waterfalls. How lovely are they and only passed 2 people on the way!! Too cold for a swim so just went for a paddle ( not as brave as you 2) Fairy Pools tomorrow so interesting to see the contrast. Keep making us laugh and smile with your vlogs😊. (What also made us laugh is we found a lone sock on the path!!!)
We came back from the NC500 two weeks ago in a camper van ,,,,, there wasn't much traffic , we had fantastic weather and most of the locals loved tourists and made us welcome , regarding campsites we never had a problem and roadside camping wasn't a problem either ,,, many people leave negative comments on videos which discourage tourists which isn't good for the local businesses , vans that are self sufficient with toilets, showers and washing and cooking facilities arnet the problem,,, it's the few that leave a mess behind them,,,,, remember ,, leave no trace and take nothing only memories
Glad to hear you had good experience on NC500 we've been a bit worried if it would be even busier than Skye, but hopefully not too bad, I'm looking forward to getting to experience it for ourselves, so far in Scotland we have found all locals to be wonderful 🥰🥰
Brilliant video guys, the Wishing Pools brought back memories! Great to see your channel starting to grow quickly: wasnt long ago it was very slowly approaching 10K subs but has zoomed up to 13K in just a few months. Well deserved for all your hard work entertaining us all.
@@phillyandkeelyi think it is, I’ve been watching your old videos after your Australia adventure (that’s where I am) and I’ve noticed it’s going up by about 100 every day or two… steadily climbing! Well done!
We've thought about getting into geocaching before, maybe we will on our next adventure. I only know about it cuz Pokémon go is based on geocaching spots 🤣 dork that I am
Hello from Scotland- midgies and weather are a ploy to keep tourists away. Not working - might have to release more midgies 🤣🤣🤣 Just found your channel. Excellent vanlife and travel stories with a big chunk of humour. Loving it👍🏻
ahhhh, you two, your videos never disappoint!! We are even more excited about visiting Scotland ourselves from watching your adventures. Hope you're having the best time and Martha is behaving. See you on the road ✌K & N x
As a child I was taken to Scotland and yes this is exactly how I remember it mountains rivers loch and midges... your drone footage was amazing by the way
Keely, you are right, Scotland is moody and atmospheric. Thank you for climbing up and down all those hills and steps to show us the views. I love seeing the mountains and waterfalls of my parent’s homeland again. I would say June and September are the best months in Scotland if you want to enjoy the ( admittedly always mixed) weather and have less tourists about.
Aye, 33. But i'll make no bones about it, if ya not prepared for the "cleggies" it's hell on earth. I found out to my own cost in the 80's. And the tourist board are not gonna "stress" how hellish it is, if ya do'nt know about 'em. No measure of protection will save yee. Be warned, kiddoes !!
Oh, my goodness, our last few weeks have filled up! We have so many CbC vids to catch up on, we're treating it like a Philly & Keely Scottish documentary! 🎬🎥🎞️🎞️🎞️ So, if that's the giant's thumb, the Old Man of Storr went out like Arnold in T2? Absolute legend. #spoilers Honestly, the footage is amazing!! Do youse really get "another waterfall" grousers? I mean, they must be new here or something! 🤣 Bring on the falls! ❤️❤️🤞😎xx
Another fab video you two. I think we will skip Skye….. thanks for the heads up- I couldn’t be doing with the crowds. Interested to see how you get on in outer Hebrides as that is definitely a go to for us on this trip. Saying that we’ve been in Scotland 4 weeks and are still only in fife….. we’re taking slow van life in travel in Scotland to a whole new level of slowness 😂
It deserves to be taken slow, Scotland is absolutely incredible!! We will definitely be back again aswell, so many islands we would love to explore, think we might do spring next time. So much more to see!
You really made me laugh again , several times. I went there in January / February… it was beautiful. We only got snowed in for 2 days but we were prepared. ❤
I never went to Scotland in summer, midges and people😳😳 I so hate walking too! If you go again go in autumn, the colours are lovely and it's quiet mainly
Hi Philly Keely hi all you must know Keely is the queen of laughter no one else can laugh like keely she makes me laugh so much just love you two ,we was in Scotland in June two years ago it rained every day the Isle of sky was beautiful even in the rain ,sure was busy round the pools such a shame you couldn’t take a dip never seen so many people,it’s so beautiful the road trips are stunning the views so beautiful, what beautiful water falls ,you will slept tonight after climbing up to see the man of storr lol you being told by a OAP how to climb up the mountain lolhehe 😊well a great blog so interesting and pretty so till next time take care keep safe love 💕 to both,John 🫂🫂🇬🇧🙏🌹🌹👀🤔🤫🫢😢😡😡🫣🤭🫢😴😴
Here I am, watching the video (TWICE) looking for my "I'm excited" queues to have my swig of whisky and not a single one! WTF??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you are enjoying the island.
Wow that's crazy we didn't say it once! Looks like crowds of people make us less excited haha. Don't worry we will make up for it in this week's video I'm sure haha.
Omg you two are such awesome humans ever, love you so much, you are both hilarious and you dont even have to try haha, love your adventures and vlogs love from your Aussie friend xx
you really are getting around, i will not do Scotland between end May and September.. I will be up there in a few weeks time. October.. Looks like they have put even more path ways in places as well..

Thanks so much Barry! We are very excited to explore the desert some day soon 🥰🥰 what area of Australia do you live in, I wonder if we will be close to you when we visit. It's pretty big though 🤣
Love your videos keep up the good work , we just got back from the NC500 , had a fantastic time , locals really friendly and helpfull, apart from a couple of stone faced ones who wouldn't use the passing lanes and wanted us to reverse 200 m ,,😮even tho it was only 3 m behind them ,,,, , and we found some awesome roadside parking places too ,,,and surprisingly quiet roads considering it was August school holidays
That's good to know!! So glad you enjoy the videos 🥰🥰 on the west coast people have been lovely, but I have heard the east coast of nc500 are less patient 🤣 Looking forward to hitting the NC500 after Lewis and Harris
Amazing drone shots - it’s a stunning place. If I’m going north I wait until September when it’s a bit quieter. The city kids are hilarious up there as they can’t believe there’s no shopping centre or takeaways 😂. You’ve nailed the weather - wait 10 mins and it might be sunny 🌞. Looking forward to seeing the outer Hebrides.
I went in September very little midge issues and far fewer tourists. Fairy pools get a lot of tourist coaches its all about timing with places like this. I went the Old Man of Storr at the end of the day and pools early. Still fairly busy
Yeah definitely good shout on early in the day, can't imagine how busy the fairy pools would be with loads of tour buses! Old man of storr is good isn't it! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much, it's just a big rock, but in person its actually pretty cool! Bet it would be awesome to watch a sunset from up there.
I feel for Keely’s reaction over the « no drone » sign. I too am a « rule follower » (probably why I work in las enforcement 😂) and my husband sometimes makes fun a me when « I can’t cross a street if it’s not the right place to do so » for example.
We deal with so much fish and Flys love fish :) I need to buy some skin so soft by Avon seems to be the only stuff that works that's more natural. Have a beautiful wonderful day. ❤️
Ben Nevis is an all day affair. not to be rushed. for me coming down was worse than going up because my feet were in bits. We rushed up in 2 and half hours but paid the price. take plenty of food and drink with you and make a day of it. Ben Nevis is the full 4000 odd feet because you start at nearly sea level. great watching you both enjoy my beautiful country.

Yeah this was filmed in the last week of August, so September would be alot quieter I'm sure. But apparently some European countries don't go back until almost October so might have some international visitors still in September
Don't think we went to Carbost, it's just a it further down the road. We might next time cuz I think the distillery is there, would be awesome to visit one.

What can I say other than I totally enjoy your videos as they make me laugh so much. The midges, the hiking ,the mess in the van and like me your hunger pangs😂It such a beautiful part of the world but as you say too busy. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next week.💚👍👏👏
Thanks so much Veronica 🥰 so glad you enjoy them! Very beautiful part of the world inderd
Ah keely i hate hills and climbs always glad when iv done them i feel so proud, did camino with my husband i gave out about every hill but had a ball , really enjoyed seeing the sights in ur video ,yourself and philly are a lovely couple so suited, love to you both❤❤
Thanks so much Liz! Yeah they only thing that gets me up hills is knowing how proud I will be of myself at the end 🤣🤣
Thanks so much Mark! Yeah good shout on avoiding it in Summer! I've heard the east coast has no midges, not sure how you have managed that haha!
Danke!
Thankyouuuu 🥰🥰🥰
Yippee, ive missed you guys
Thank You for sharing your Journey
Stunningly Beautiful
Thanks so much Kathleen 🥰🥰
Just found you guys! Hey your vlogs are brilliant! Can't wait to catch up on your back catalogue 😊
Aww thanks so much Joanne 🥰🥰 that's so kind of you to say
Hope Isle of Lewis and Harris is less crowded for you. ❤
Lewis and Harris is incredible 🥰🥰
I’m going in a month to do some photography - can’t wait, but also looking forward to seeing it through your eyes x
Keely I’m late to this party but O M G I am so with you on walking ‘up’. My wee legs scream every time I have to go up a steep slope and my husband just doesn’t understand the effort needed to ‘overbend’ my legs 🤷🏻♀️
P.S. I’m from Dundalk but live in Cumbria and next time you’re both in the area give me a shout for some wild swimming and paddleboarding in the Lakes 😘
Haha thanks so much 🥰💪 what a lovely area to live in, thanks for the offer we will let you know if in the area later this year ❤️
Poor wee Keeley getting blind-sided by all the mountainous walks! 😆 When they'd finished with New Zealand they put the leftover mountains and scenery in Scotland.
Feels that way, this place is very epic 🥰🥰
@@phillyandkeely That's why I moved up here. 🙂
We was burgalled once ….. when the police came they said ‘ Oh MY! they’ve left a mess! 😳‘‘twas not the burglars ! 😮😳😂 ‘True story’ 😅
🤣🤣🤣 honestly that would be us lmao. Sorry to hear you got burgalled, we know that pain ❤️
First time watching - classic video! we haven't been to scotland yet so thanks for the tips. look forward to following along!
Wow that's very lovely of you to say, we worried people would think it's boring with just three different waterfalls 🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely I think you two could do a video on the properties of drying paint and it would make me smile like a Cheshire Cat. Natural born entertainers is what you are
Bushman and bluey😊 got me here, fall in love. Time to cancel the week, and watch all the videos from the start. This week.
🤣🤣🤣 that's a big commitment lmao! We cringe at our early videos, but it's all a learning curve eh ahha
@@phillyandkeely you might. But the first four were fun. I am at the one with covid now. Onwards to episode 5!
@@phillyandkeelyhey… I am back….. literally watched ALL the videos. What a joy…. What. A. Joy. Thank you all so much
@@MrFloris wow!!! We are so grateful for you watching them all, it has been so lovely going down memory lane through your comments, we wake up excited to see where you have got up to 🤣 I'm gonna miss this daily commentary now! We will have to wait to Sundays for our Floris Fix now!
@@phillyandkeely a little thank you for making these videos is on the last video, enjoy the surprise
No wind midges ! Can’t wait to see you on my home ground x
🥰🥰 honestly wish we had more time in the Hebrides, we will definitely be doing another Scotland trip again in the future so we can hop some more islands, Scotland has stolen our heart
Thanks so much Carina 🥰🥰 I wish they were made of steel, made of jelly 🤣🤣 absolutely crapping it for Ben Nevis lmao
🤣🤣🤣 imagine it was my sock lmao! Interested to hear what you think of fairy pools! Glad you enjoyed the quietness if sligachan 🥰🥰
We certainly do know who is going to suffer if the lady is disappointed. Anyway a very good video.
🤣🤣
a sock you were lucky could have been yesterday's knickers if you where wearing them!
🤣🤣🤣 I would have just ignored them and kept walking haha
Keely needs some trekking poles, will help enormously with the hikes. 🙂
Yeah help those knees!
Brilliant video guys, the Wishing Pools brought back memories! Great to see your channel starting to grow quickly: wasnt long ago it was very slowly approaching 10K subs but has zoomed up to 13K in just a few months. Well deserved for all your hard work entertaining us all.
Thanks Peter 🥰 yeah that slog to 10k felt like an eternity! Fingers crossed the algorithm is our friend in future lmao
@@phillyandkeelyi think it is, I’ve been watching your old videos after your Australia adventure (that’s where I am) and I’ve noticed it’s going up by about 100 every day or two… steadily climbing! Well done!
@@kelliem2953 Thanks Kellie, we are so grateful that more people are finding our channel now
Good morning peeps😊😊
Morning April 🥰
You guys were in an amazing part of the world for Geocaching. You should try it!
We've thought about getting into geocaching before, maybe we will on our next adventure. I only know about it cuz Pokémon go is based on geocaching spots 🤣 dork that I am
Hello from Scotland- midgies and weather are a ploy to keep tourists away. Not working - might have to release more midgies 🤣🤣🤣
Just found your channel. Excellent vanlife and travel stories with a big chunk of humour. Loving it👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣 release the swarms hahaha! So glad you found our channel, we've been loving making videos here, Scotland is awesome 💪🥰
Ken who you vote for, 8447. This saxon says indi for everyone, esp Yorkshire. That's it.
ahhhh, you two, your videos never disappoint!! We are even more excited about visiting Scotland ourselves from watching your adventures. Hope you're having the best time and Martha is behaving. See you on the road ✌K & N x
Thanks so much guys 🥰🥰 you will LOVE Scotland I'm sure 💪❤️
As a child I was taken to Scotland and yes this is exactly how I remember it mountains rivers loch and midges... your drone footage was amazing by the way
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 it's so beautiful (minus the midges 🤣🤣)
by taken I mean on holiday not kidnapped lol
@@runaroundsueaccessibletrav6357 🤣🤣 I assumed so lmao
Thanks so much Jackie 🥰🥰 that's good to know about June being a good month, pre midges haha
Your sock! I am crying!😂 Good advice to wait for off season.
As someone else said I'm grateful it wasn't dirty pants 🤣🤣
Oh, my goodness, our last few weeks have filled up! We have so many CbC vids to catch up on, we're treating it like a Philly & Keely Scottish documentary! 🎬🎥🎞️🎞️🎞️
So, if that's the giant's thumb, the Old Man of Storr went out like Arnold in T2? Absolute legend. #spoilers
Honestly, the footage is amazing!! Do youse really get "another waterfall" grousers? I mean, they must be new here or something! 🤣 Bring on the falls! ❤️❤️🤞😎xx
That being the giants thumb is the family friendly version of that story 😅
@@phillyandkeely 😉👌
#teamkeeley 100% when it comes to not having to climb!
Hills are not my friend haha
Wow getting snowed in sounds cool!! Glad we made you laugh Rose 🥰🥰
@@phillyandkeely it really was cool…😂 but not too cold 😉
I never went to Scotland in summer, midges and people😳😳 I so hate walking too! If you go again go in autumn, the colours are lovely and it's quiet mainly
Yeah I bet the colours would be insane and all the mushroom foraging would be epic. We will definitely be back again in future to avoid the midges
Hi Philly Keely hi all you must know Keely is the queen of laughter no one else can laugh like keely she makes me laugh so much just love you two ,we was in Scotland in June two years ago it rained every day the Isle of sky was beautiful even in the rain
,sure was busy round the pools such a shame you couldn’t take a dip never seen so many people,it’s so beautiful the road trips are stunning the views so beautiful, what beautiful water falls ,you will slept tonight after climbing up to see the man of storr lol you being told by a OAP how to climb up the mountain lolhehe 😊well a great blog so interesting and pretty so till next time take care keep safe love 💕 to both,John 🫂🫂🇬🇧🙏🌹🌹👀🤔🤫🫢😢😡😡🫣🤭🫢😴😴
Thanks so much John!! Still recovering a week later from Old Man of Storr absolutely killed me lmao. Glad to hear you enjoyed Skye even with the rain!
Love your video. You guys are soooo fun!
Thanks so much Debra 🥰🥰
Here I am, watching the video (TWICE) looking for my "I'm excited" queues to have my swig of whisky and not a single one! WTF??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you are enjoying the island.
Wow that's crazy we didn't say it once! Looks like crowds of people make us less excited haha. Don't worry we will make up for it in this week's video I'm sure haha.
well done both, good job we love waterfalls huh!
Thankyou 🥰🥰
Omg you two are such awesome humans ever, love you so much, you are both hilarious and you dont even have to try haha, love your adventures and vlogs love from your Aussie friend xx
Thanks so much Donna 🥰🥰
you really are getting around, i will not do Scotland between end May and September.. I will be up there in a few weeks time. October.. Looks like they have put even more path ways in places as well..
Yeah putting more parking in aswell. October would be beautiful with all the autumnal trees 🥰
Hi ya too many people for me , I do like my remoteness like the desert 🐪 . I couldn’t do Scotland in winter 🥶 too cold. Thanks for sharing, take care and stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤩🌟🥰
Thanks so much Barry! We are very excited to explore the desert some day soon 🥰🥰 what area of Australia do you live in, I wonder if we will be close to you when we visit. It's pretty big though 🤣
@@phillyandkeely I live just north of Brisbane🥰
I really enjoy your videos!
Thanks Angela ❤️❤️
Amazing drone shots - it’s a stunning place. If I’m going north I wait until September when it’s a bit quieter. The city kids are hilarious up there as they can’t believe there’s no shopping centre or takeaways 😂. You’ve nailed the weather - wait 10 mins and it might be sunny 🌞. Looking forward to seeing the outer Hebrides.
Thanks so much Marilynne 🥰🥰 September is a good shout, the colours of autumn would be beautiful in Scotland, get some mushroom foraging!
Skye is beautiful and I love it but Lewis and Harris are awesome
Yeah it really really really is!!
Sooo awesome epik video and beautiful
Thanks Tomas 🥰
I went in September very little midge issues and far fewer tourists. Fairy pools get a lot of tourist coaches its all about timing with places like this. I went the Old Man of Storr at the end of the day and pools early. Still fairly busy
Yeah definitely good shout on early in the day, can't imagine how busy the fairy pools would be with loads of tour buses! Old man of storr is good isn't it! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much, it's just a big rock, but in person its actually pretty cool! Bet it would be awesome to watch a sunset from up there.
A great watch as always love from the Islands. Got to get the highland coos or your mission has failed .
I know!!! Im starting to think people are making it up and they are an elaborate hoax. I need to see them to believe them now haha.
I feel for Keely’s reaction over the « no drone » sign. I too am a « rule follower » (probably why I work in las enforcement 😂) and my husband sometimes makes fun a me when « I can’t cross a street if it’s not the right place to do so » for example.
🤣🤣🤣 very me lmao
My evening is complete. 😊 👋
Thanks Geoff 🥰🥰
Oops forgot to say love your videos and keep up the good work
Thanks so much 🥰🥰
You talk about Miggies here in Alaska they are Flys and while being on the boat this morning I got bit up . Yukkkkk
So gross aren't they!
We deal with so much fish and Flys love fish :) I need to buy some skin so soft by Avon seems to be the only stuff that works that's more natural. Have a beautiful wonderful day. ❤️
That's the reason South Florida is so green too.
That's interesting I didn't realise that about Southern Florida. Would love to explore there some day
Ben Nevis is an all day affair. not to be rushed. for me coming down was worse than going up because my feet were in bits. We rushed up in 2 and half hours but paid the price. take plenty of food and drink with you and make a day of it. Ben Nevis is the full 4000 odd feet because you start at nearly sea level. great watching you both enjoy my beautiful country.
Will definitely be making a whole day of it 🤣🤣 gonna bring alot of snacks. I'm honestly crapping myself about it!!
take in the views and enjoy.
Hi guy’s loving your videos
I see your heading to the outer hebs,if you want any tips on where to stay on Lewis & Harris let me know
Cheers have a great time
Thanks so much Michael. It's crazy how different it is from Isle of Sky. We are in love with L&H, can't wait to share it with everyone 🥰🥰
@@phillyandkeely I live on Lewis and have a self build camper
There’s a great park up near to where I live at barvas right on the beach, well known for surfing
We have highland cows on our common in Gloucestershire. So you need to come here.
Wouldn't it be insane if we travelled all around the Highlands and our first cow was in Gloucestershire!! Good to know they exist, I was starting to doubt 🤣
7:26 🚨 Another one's cottoned on. Send the kelpies to silence him! 🚨
🤣🤣🤣 this made me fully laugh out loud! Thanks for watching Ewan, we will keep it quiet from now on 😜😜
It gets better north of Ullapool
Yeah I reckon most people don't head much further north than Skye, so will be quieter I'm sure. Now we need to hope for less midges too 🤣
@@phillyandkeely Unfortunately the midges problem is there too, but can be OK right on the coastal beaches esp with an onshore breeze. Looking forward to seeing you on the Outer Hebs.
i think the drone thing is just from the car park
That's good to know!! I feel less guilty now haha
September when all kids are back are school and everyone gone back to work.
Yeah this was filmed in the last week of August, so September would be alot quieter I'm sure. But apparently some European countries don't go back until almost October so might have some international visitors still in September
october thats crazy
I wouldn't ever consider travelling anywhere during the summer holidays or a public holiday. What an absolute nightmare. :(
Yeah very wise decision 🤣
Aye, 1974, but a lot of folk have no choice, err, them with "teapots" i'm talking about.
That just above Carbost?
Don't think we went to Carbost, it's just a it further down the road. We might next time cuz I think the distillery is there, would be awesome to visit one.
