I literally laughed out loud with the conversation with full time employees! Remember when Laura and Aaron forgot about Ken, and he put in a cameo appearance about how he did some woodworking for them? It was so funny and clever. And here we see how the current editor has put in his own clever insertions. This was SO great!!!!
You mean Taylor
@@krisellsworth Well, if you are referring to the current editor, yes.
Dianequist835 I remember that that was hilarious!!!!!
@@demesrvl6761 It really was 🤣
The Editor 🤣😂 poor Taylor!!
Loving the edit and input. You’ve really upped the game and we appreciate your work!
It’s subtle clips, zooms and additions that make me chuckle. Keep it up x
That was so funny! Agree fantastic job by Taylor! 😊
I think Taylor needs a raise. 😂
Aaron, we live in Missouri and we frequently have frozen mix or ice before snow. We had to worry about our fountains freezing. Before covering them we would fill the bowls with empty liter pop bottles or water bottles. That way when water gets in and freezes it will expand and instead of cracking fountain bowls it will crush the bottles and allow space. It worked great for us.
So funny! The whole time they were listing off employees, I was saying Taylor! To the screen. 😂
Taylor, you are doing a great job! I’m enjoying the added images and effects in the videos, recaps,in particular.
😂 Taylor has such a great sense of humor! Had me cracking up 😂
TAYLOR IS THE BEST!! Taylor your editor is so funny! I get such a kick out of his clever little additions and comments! Such a great addition to your staff! Keep up the great work Taylor!!
But you have done tours in the past of you parents garden. Long time ago I think? So why not let people know that and they can look them up themselves??? Or am I totally wrong??
P😊
Laura sounding insulted that the rabbit found a better garden 😂
Bunnies are so cute. Until they overrun your garden. My first thought about where the bunny went was more sinister. Maybe a hawk got it. It’s really a learning experience for me, having grown up so close to where Laura is, without rabbits as a garden challenge. Now I’m transplanted to Oklahoma, in our subdivision there are LOTS of cottontails. And probably because of that, there are lots of hawks right in the neighborhood.
😂
Bunnies do have predators that grab them also. Thankfully because they breed like, well, rabbits.
It's better that it left rather than Aaron "sending it down the road" like he suggested for stray cats. lol.
😂
Aaron, you're not a pessimist. You're a realist!
Taylor is the best. His humor is spot on. Thank you all.
Don’t forget the editor! Goodness, he deserves an “editor appreciation day” all to himself! I often wonder if he has to look up all the things when either one of you says, “we’ll put a link up for that!” Does he cringe when he hears that? Anyway, Kudos to Taylor…your hard work is appreciated by all of us! ❤
Your editor Taylor is absolutely the best! It’s so entertaining to see his sidebars!
***Question for Aaron ***
Would you please use the drone and show us the bloom stalk on the Mangave in the south garden? I would, and maybe others too, like to see an up close view of that bloom. I've never seen one in person and I'm curious as heck! 😊😊
Where I used to work (US Army) before I retired, we used to say “Perfection is the Enemy of Good Enough!”
Thanks for sharing that. My grandfather, a WWII Vet used to say, recognize, modify, adapt and overcome. That is so ingrained in me now. 😊
Lol love that! Both my parents and one of my grandpas were Army, but never heard them say that! 😂 just “good enough for government work” 😅
@@MoniqueARuiz I was in weapons development and we used it more to mean that our money was not unlimited and neither was the schedule, so it was better to seek a “good enough” solution and get something out to the field the soldiers could use than to keep working and working and working on something driving up cost for differences that weren’t worth the extra cost and time. But I do know what you mean as well!
@@joydavis4087 That’s a great way to attack life!
@@MoniqueARuizI have that all my adult life
While the grass was suffering from the willow being a water hog, it was also helping to shade the willow’s roots. So removing the grass left the roots of the willow that much more exposed to sun even though they’re underground. I think that played a part in the willow yellowing out along with the water being shut off in that area.
Samantha’s face popping up over the counter ❤
Your FULL TIME editor is a hoot and very clever! Go Taylor!😂
Dragon flies will keep your mosquito population down. I saw a video where a man created a dragon fly haven in his yard with dowels and wire lines. They like perching on the tops of the dowels and on the wires to feed. He had hundreds of dragon flies. It was amazing!
The Millenial Gardener? 😊
Aaron I feel you. There is nothing soothing to me about bright white lights. I hate when I add something new in and it’s bright white, it just stands out in a negative way for me. Warm light lover all the way for me lol.
I’m like that in my living spaces, but I have to have the pure blue-white bulbs in my art/sewing studio to see true colors. I also love it for the stand lamp next to my reading chair, can see so much better - but doesn’t help my insomnia when I really need to go to bed! 😂
The editor is really stellar. He strikes a perfect balance between staying true to the simple natural style of this channel and bringing in the more modern humorous editing trends. Amazing job for sure. He gets the trends but also gets this audience.
I really love seeing Taylor's sense of humor in the videos. It is really fun. I love that y'all have such a great team!
I love "The editor" lol! 😄
Thanks for another great recap!
Taylor has a great sense of humor! 🤣
I was augering (sp) my garden for mum plants and my wife said I was doing it wrong. "You need to kick over the plants like Laura does".
😂
Proud member of Garden Answer morning coffee ☕️ club. ❤❤❤
That would look great on tees and hoodies.
Same ☕️☀️
"What better spot!" 😂You are right,I can't think of a better spot to feast on if I was a bunny. 🐰
The John Travolta meme made me chuckle. hahaha
We are in North Dakota. Cold and snow doesn't kill mosquitos. Drought does.
Yep! I’m in MN and have lived in Alaska. Oh how I wish cold and snow killed off mosquitos completely…😅.
I LOVE Taylor!! the way he edits the videos has made them even more enjoyable to watch!! Keep up the great work Taylor!!!
Oh , Laura , the fountain and the sun dial just made your gardens look complete ⛲️💛💦
Aaron- my mantra in life is “Done is better than perfect” waiting for perfection used to hold me back, but now I go ahead and place that piece where I want it, then paint it, replant it, or whatever later to make it more to my liking
Ok, I gotta say, your editor has an absolutely fabulous sense of humor. I am so glad to see his cheeky additions to the final product. I LOL out loud.
Also, suggestion: do a highlights LIVE (taped & edited of course) with call in Q&A from fans. Aaron and Laura have such good interplay. Think a video version of FRAZIER - “I’m listening.” Plant therapy.
I learn so much especially from the re-cap videos. Just wanted to share a tip with you. I use to work at a larger greenhouse facility. When seasonal people or new employees came on board, they were given a hand out sheet titled, Speak Like a Grower. We found it so much easier when everyone called a tool the same thing. Like the end of the watering wand. We called it a breaker, because that’s what the tool does, breaks the water coming out of the hose. We just found that when we all spoke the same language it made the whole process so much easier. Kind of like how you guys named 25 areas of your property so everyone clearly knows which garden or area you mean.
Taylor's humor is so appreciated. He is doing a great job. Thanks Taylor!
Something that works for hard water clogging hose spouts - keep your lemon halves from cooking and use those (secured with a rubber band) on the hose end. The acid from the lemons dissolves the minerals. This also works for indoor taps and showers.
Spray distilled vinegar will solve that issue as well.
I put mine in a jug full of warm water with a spoonful of citric acid. (same as I do for showerheads) Cleans so easily 👍🏼
You might try Lime-Away.
Plain ole vinegar 😊
Taylor, you are a wonderful addition to the team. I love your sense of humor and the fun ways you emphasize Laura and Aaron’s reactions. I also really like your music choices! #LoveYourEditor
Taylor has made me laugh out loud on your videos lately, He has done a wonderful job playing up your wonderful vibe! Great Job Taylor!
Editor needs a raise he's a hoot. 😂😂😂
"Taylor! Taylor! Taylor!" I was shouting at the screen. LOL. Editors ... the unsung heroes. 🌹🌟
Your editor is soooo great! The sense of humor is fantastic. You all struck gold with Taylor’s talent. 😂
Laura, the gardening influencer...augers, fountain corks and next...housing outside the main cover of the fountain? Now if the pot people would only heed her advice to make matching saucers in the appropriate shape for every pot.
Literally watching and saying out loud “Taylor. Taylor. And Taylor”! His editing is subtle and so funny at times! ❤
Maybe you can get a Laura Edition Fountain Plug with 3 or 4 holes 😂😂😂
The Thunderbird plants at your parents’ house looks like the are sculpted from metal. They are beautifully perfect for the pots. I just love them😊❤
Taylor, your edits are hilarious.
Love your Editors humor ... My type of person !!!!!! But I also think I would get along with all of you on the whole. Love this coffee and breaky show ,makes my morning.
Good morning Laura, Aaron and GA friends ❤️ I hope everyone has a great day!😀
I like the way you have your highlight channel separate from your regular channel it’s more organized that way.
I love the tone and your voices- no high pitch or yelling to be heard- love watching !!!!
Kudos to Taylor - outasight, outamind, but always in our hearts! You rock! I'm also a card carrying member of the morning watch party. Taylor, you help make mornings fun! Keep up the great work!
The edit for poor Taylor is priceless!!! Wish I lived closer, I'd take Grace's place in a heartbeat!! From a Wisconsinite Laura, snow and cold does not hinder mosquitoes!!! They love warm, humid, wet conditions. So cute the kids popping in, sounds like Benjamin had a jammie day. My kids used to do that often! Great video, following a VERY busy, productive week!!
THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! If you want long videos on this channel than we need to let them know otherwise the fifteen second people are going to start complaining. I love love love a long video! FYI. 😂more Laura & Aaron is better.
Yes!!! Long Garden Answer videos are great!
Me too!
Yes, Please long videos are always welcomed with me!
Mr. Taylor, that was funny. Thanks for the giggle. 😂❤
Hi Aaron and Laura, I was just thinking that your 2 little rocking benches that you are planning to move would be so cute in front of your little white building out by your orchard it would add such a homey feeling!!! Love Love Love all your video's they make me inspired and happy!!! Love Your Family and Love Watching All the Changes!!!🥰😍❤
Taylor is hilarious😅 adding a clip of Coraline's father as himself😂
Yes!! I’ve been hoping for a tour of your parent’s garden for years 😉!! I hope this happens. Thank you for everything you do!
They've done one before. Search tour of my parents garden + garden answer here on youtube😊
They have done a few tours at her parents house.
Your Editor is so much fun….love all his little add ins and comments… much like Ken did. Always good for a giggle😂
This weeks highlights were great! Taylor the editing was hilarious, and the comments from so many GA watchers spot on and fun to read! Thanks to all of you!
Dear Laura and Aaron, I can’t tell you how you have changed my retirement life! I have purpose and you both inspire me daily.
We purchased a three-tier fountain three years ago. Over the winter we drain and use burlap, BUT… we then purchased some custom 1/4” thick (?) acrylic/plastic to lay over each level. We applied some grey weatherstripping to the underside of the acrylic between the fountain and plastic to keep the moisture from seeping into the bowls. Yes, we had to disassemble the top two tiers to put the plastic down but we get to enjoy the unobstructed fountain in the winter. Hope this helps. It sure has worked for us. Keep doing what you’re doing ❣️
😂😂😂, Taylor that was funny 🤣! You are all great!
It seems that Aaron got so much more knowledgeable about flowers and garden stuff so fun to watch and hear his opinion, Laura's knowledge rubs on you! So amazing! Thank you! I learn a lot from you guys.
Blessings to you all!🤗💕🤗
19:37 I personally love the light color of the fountain. It feels regal and contrasts everything around it perfectly. The rich colors of the grass and shrubs and flowers needed that light stone color. The sets both apart beautifully, bringing out the best of both.
Haaaaah! 😆 Thats what I was thinking! The EDITOR! Great job Taylor!
Hi Taylor. Love your sense of humour. 😎
i hope the editor knows just how much we all love them. they've followed right on track with when ken edited and aaron as well. i, a gen z, literally laughed so hard at the editing multiple times that i spent minutes wheezing lol.
also lmao thanks you guys for proving me absolutely wrong that an auger will work in rocky soil. my birthday is at the end of the month... (laura edition auger coming to a new england town near you?! (get it. like. the commercial phrasing. ha.)
Taylor!! Great editing! Aaron and Laura are the best team, optimist and the thinker..perfect.
I remember the old dungeon. Memory of years of smiles.
🗣️SHOUT OUT TO TAYLOR 🙌🏻 always a great job. Especially the special effects 😂 great since of humor 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tons of cats = 0 rabbits! 🤭
Vinegar and Citric Acid always help me with hard water here in Utah. Citric Acid also work for dishwashers, clothes washers, toilets, coffee makers….
Yes. I am loving Taylor’s editing. And his music is top-notch
I just have to say I LOVE the editing from Taylor!!! No offense Aaron or Ken😅
I love Taylor's sense of humor.
The Travolta moment was the most hilarious joke ever!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Bravissimo Taylor!! 👏👏👏 ❤
You can soak the head of wand in CLR it’s for hard water, we have hard water and it works great
Hi - for the dramm watering wand getting clogged with hard water....we have hard water and the best thing I found is a product called "Lime Out" (white bottle with bright green writing). It's a total game changer! I get it at the hardware store. 😊
Now I know why I didn’t see your recap this morning! I never realized it was on a channel that I wasn’t subscribed to. 😊
I so LOL'D about poor Taylor. That was a great edit on your part, Taylor. 😂🥰
Laura, will you be doing a follow up tour of your friend's new build that you landscaped? 🌲🌳🌿
OK, Aaron & Laura, I'm seeing y'all designing your own fountains in the future for your store--possible? All of us are rooting for you!🤣🤣
please please BRING THE APPAREL BACK. 😢😢😢 was hoping the hoodies had been restocked for fall ❤❤❤
Agree with you Aaron, that you must be well aware of where you put your hands. I admit I often reach into a plant to pull a weed unaware of what is nearby. A local landscaper failed to follow this awareness and was bitten by a copperhead. He survived but it put him out of commission first a while.
Copper Heads are not deadly but pretty major !🐍🐍🐍
I love the editor's, Taylor, notes! They make me laugh. LOL! Great job on editing the videos.
"The Editor!". So funny!!!!! Yes, couldn't do without you Taylor!
Taylor is hilarious with his inserts. Wonderful week of videos and very entertaining recap!🤗💙🤗
Aquascape puck lights for your fountain.
Aaron, you’re a realist and a planner, not a pessimist! 😀 Im that way, too - makes life easier in the long run IMO, though I do sometimes envy the freewheeling folks!
OMG, I like Taylor the editor! ...keep those little insert additions coming!!!
😂 "editor nods in agreement" lol he's funny
I have rocks in my soil here in San Antonio and I use a digging bar to pry they out. I have found that using an auger tends to catch on the rocks and rip the drill out of my hands, I use a combination of the auger, digging bar, and shovel to dig my painting holes, Caution, a digging bar is heavy, and can be difficult to use for some people.
Oh my gooodness! Taylor the editor is sooo funny. I went back and watch that part again about the full time employees!!😂
Laugh out loud at the cover the fountain exchange! 😂 Very funny!
Laura you are right they should have the cork area near the edge of the fountain. You should work with these companies to change their designs. Sometimes the people who have them and put them together have the best ideas and tips. Multiple hole plug/stoppers?
I was only listening to the video so I knew I had to rewind and watch when they forgot about the editor. Love the edits.
Great wrap up. Love everything you do, Laura and Aaron. We have black widows here on our 40 acres in Kentucky. My children have been taught to be aware of the strong, deceivingly messy webs, and to never reach into darker areas without gloves, like you explained. Though this spring, I did not heed my own teachings. And as Aaron said, pots with lips are great spaces for black widows. I was trying to remove an egg sac, when I noticed just how strong and sticky the sac was, and out came Momma. She almost got my hand. She was aggressive, but it had been my fault for not checking the pot first. She was only aggressive because I was messing with her eggs. I try to let most of our spiders be, venomous and non, but sometimes it cannot be helped. Thank you for all that you show, share, inspire, and teach us.
Just soak the end of the wand in C.L.R. for a couple hours good as new.
Clay soil can break an auger, ask me how I know!!
Sheared it off at the top of the flighting. And hard on the wrists.
What a great recap today, I love the length of depth of these. You could make it even longer if you want and I would be happy. Very interesting and informative.
Also, you have a wonderful staff. From Paul and Bethany in the garden, Ken at the warehouse and Taylor in editing. Hard working and talented people. Have a blessed day everyone.
Aaron - There are recycling services for drip tape - I used to hear the ads on the radio when I lived in the California Central Valley. I believe the service is free. If your amount doesn't meet minimum for pick-up, a local farmer will probably allow you to add to their pile for disposal.
Your editor is da bomb. What a great sense of humour he brings! 😂😊
I have lots of rocks and many large rocks. I have had to remove rocks with a pry bar. Sometimes your hole needs to be made a lot bigger to remove the rocks. I still use an auger when doing mass planting. I have the Laura addition auger for planting bulbs and all the plants I grow from seed. Our garden club plants many beds for the town. The club decided they won’t plant without me and my auger again. The picture in the local paper had me and my auger front and center.
I have firelight’s and love the color changes it goes through. It’s like having 4 different plants as the temperature changes. Chartreuse to white to pink to dark pink. ❤ you should try them again!
❤❤❤❤ the TAYLOR effects & 💥💣💥 “raised root cellar”!!😂😂
CATS… maybe need a feral cat “TNR” investigation in case of them reproducing?? Maybe ASK Campania what you should do for weather maintenance!
Razed the root cellar, not raised 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you Taylor 😅💚💚💚
I remember that several years ago someone complained about non garden stuff being on the main channel. If I recall correctly, the recap was moved to this channel so that all not-in-the-garden videos would be together. I think that was right around the time that Laura did the beautiful gender reveal for Samantha Grace.
